Shen Xing Chen took a moment before he cautiously said, "Lao Di, don't scare me. Aren't there supposed to be no ghosts in this world?"

"Huh?" Shen Xing Sui realized and chuckled, "Yeah, a world without ghosts is nice."

Wen Sheng Ge, who had just come out of the haunted house's shadow, opened a bottle of water and said, "Actually, having ghosts might not be so bad. Imagine, the loved ones we lost might still be around, accompanying us in a different form."

Shen Xing Chen disagreed, "What's the point of a ghost that's invisible and intangible? If they had the power, they should just reincarnate."

Shen Xing Sui paused for a moment, casting a profound look at his brother before chuckling, "Given how scared you are of ghosts, if one were to reincarnate, you'd be terrified."

"Not at all!" Shen Xing Chen retorted quickly, taking a sip from Shen Xing Sui's half-empty water bottle. He leaned on his brother, grinning brightly, "I'd be thrilled! It wouldn't be just any ghost – it'd be family."

Wen Sheng Ge scoffed, "If there was such a thing as resurrection, why would it happen to you?"

Shen Xing Chen stuck his tongue out, "Why not me? I could always offer something in exchange."

Tu Ya, the teacher, became curious, "And what would you offer in return?"

"My handsome face? Nope, too precious. My allowance? Nope, too small." Shen Xing Chen mused for a while and then declared, "I'd go from being a top-tier celebrity to just another handsome guy in the entertainment industry!"

Wen Sheng Ge burst out laughing, "Calling yourself handsome? And 'top-tier'?"

Shen Xing Sui's eyelashes fluttered, a gentle smile appearing on his lips, but there was a hint of redness in his eyes as he looked at Shen Xing Chen.

The group teased each other for a while until Tu Ya remembered, "Shouldn't we ask the staff for the invitation? We missed it for the last water ride."

Everyone suddenly realized the priority.

They quickly approached the staff to inquire about the invitation. The staff responded, "Invitation? Yes, we have it."

Everyone was beaming with joy, but before they could even celebrate, they heard the staff member say, "The invitation we have here is for a valiant warrior. The Fairytale Kingdom ball cordially invites the bravest to attend. This invitation will be presented to the bravest person from the previous challenge."

The group paused in surprise.

The staff member took out a bright red sword-shaped badge and pinned it onto Shen Xingsui, saying, "This is your invitation. Please grace our ball with your presence tomorrow."

Shen Xingsui asked with astonishment, "So, this means I've got the invitation?"

The staff member smiled and responded, "Indeed."

Seeing Shen Xingsui with the invitation, the others regretted their timid behavior in the haunted house.

Wen Shengge proposed, "If we re-enter the haunted house, could we possibly earn another invitation?"

Shen Xingchen decisively replied, "You can go if you want. I'm not going again."

"Each attraction can only award one badge," the staff member kindly reminded. "There are many other activities in the amusement park. Please explore and enjoy."

That seemed to imply other chances were available.

The group felt slightly relieved. Among the two groups, only Shen Xingsui earned a badge. Meanwhile, the two other groups, one with Fu Jinxi and Teacher Li and the other with Xu Qinke and Feng Fan, had just come down from the pirate area. Feng Fan felt nauseous, while Xu Qinke was noticeably pale.

Fu Jinxi took a sip of water and comforted the winded Teacher Li.

Catching his breath, Teacher Li said, "That was...intense."

Ensuring that Teacher Li was alright, Fu Jinxi approached another staff member and asked, "Hello, do you have invitations?"

"Yes, we do," the staff answered. "The ride you just experienced tests agility and stamina. We'll award the invitation to the most ingenious scholar. Please, accept this badge."

A green badge with a book emblem was presented, and the staff respectfully pinned it onto Fu Jinxi.

From behind, Teacher Li grumbled, "So those of us who aren't 'ingenious' won't be able to attend the ball?"

The staff member smiled reassuringly, "That's not the case. There are many more attractions inside the park. Please, adventurers, explore them enthusiastically."

As it was nearing lunchtime and everyone was getting hungry, they noticed the vast size of the amusement park. The attractions were spaced apart, and neither of the two groups had encountered any other visitors.

Xu Qinke suggested, "Let's find somewhere to eat."

Teacher Li quickly agreed, "I second that."

With everyone in accord, they located a fast-food chain selling popular items like burgers and fries. While this was a suitable choice for the younger ones, older folks like Fu Jinxi and Teacher Li preferred traditional meals.

Teacher Li mentioned, "I think there's a place that sells chicken rice nearby. Let's eat there."

Fu Jinxi nodded. As he was about to head towards the place Teacher Li mentioned, his eyes were drawn to the entrance of the fast-food restaurant. There wasn't anything particularly special about the door itself, but what caught his attention was a standee promoting the show "Starglow", featuring life-sized cutouts of each guest.

Interestingly, the shop owner had playfully placed the cartoon cutouts of Fu Jinxi and Shen Xingsui next to each other. They even had miniature toy versions of the characters for sale.

Teacher Li also noticed, "It seems the show collaborated with the amusement park. It's quite fun, though it’s more catered to kids..."

As Fu Jinxiao approached, a few kids were playing around the standees. He crouched down and smiled, "Little ones, where did you get those fans and standees from?"

The kids all answered.

Fu Jinxiao returned, looking satisfied with their response.

Teacher Li curiously inquired, "What did you ask them?"

"Nothing much, let's eat," Fu Jinxiao pointed at the fast-food restaurant, "They have some good set meals inside; we could try them."

"But, weren't we going for chicken rice?" asked Teacher Li.

Fu Jinxiao, changing his tone from earlier, nonchalantly walked into the restaurant, saying, "A change of taste once in a while isn't bad."

Teacher Li was perplexed.

This wasn’t what they'd discussed.

After they entered, Xu Qinke and Feng Fan followed them in and greeted Fu Jinxiao and Teacher Li enthusiastically.

Fu Jinxiao waved at them, "Come on over."

The two approached, curious about their seniors.

Fu Jinxiao pointed to some set meals, "Order whatever you like, it’s on me."

Both were pleasantly surprised and deeply appreciative of the kind gesture. They wanted to order something else, but seeing their senior's rare treat, they quickly made their selections, gratefully saying, "Thank you so much!"

A smile crept on Fu Jinxiao’s lips, "You're welcome."

Though others were puzzled, the live stream audience burst into laughter:

"He's not trying to pamper you!"

"He just wants to collect the cards."

"LOL, eating burgers to collect cards!"

"Classic move, Teacher Fu!"

By evening, all groups were almost done with their tasks. The park's parade was a beautiful sight. Teacher Tuya was invited as a lucky audience member to play the princess role and dance, earning a badge in the end.

On their way out, Shen Xingsui's group bumped into two other groups.

Everyone's reunion was filled with excitement. Shen Xingsui approached Fu Jinxiao, showing off like a kindergartener showing their report card to parents, "Look, the hero's badge."

Fu Jinxiao looked down, his eyes gentle, "Impressive."

Shen Xingsui beamed with a mix of pride and modesty, "Just a stroke of luck."

Dusk had arrived, the setting sun casting a gentle and beautiful orange hue over the sky. Laughter and joy echoed throughout the amusement park, with whimsical music playing from the parade floats.

A memory seemed to spark in Shen Xingsui, and he suddenly remarked, "Guess what else I got?"

Fu Jinxiao inquired, "What?"

"Ta-da!" Shen Xingsui joyfully pulled out a cartoon standee from his pocket. "Look! It's a mini you! I got it at the fast-food place. Isn't it cute?"

It was a mini keychain of Fu Jinxiao dressed in a suit.

Fu Jinxiao glanced at it, a hint of amusement crossing his handsome face, and responded casually, "It's decent."

Shen Xingsui felt slightly deflated and said with a light huff, "Just 'decent'? It's adorable! And you have no idea how hard it was to get. Not every meal set came with one. My second brother and I had two meals and still didn't get your card. In the end, someone else got it and gave it to me. Plus, that store had not just keychains but also fans and badges. Sadly, I couldn't eat enough to collect them all..."

Fu Jinxiao, with a mature demeanor, replied, "If you didn't collect them all, then so be it. Sometimes, the beauty lies in the imperfection. Cherish what you have, and don't always compare with others..."

As Shen Xingsui was about to nod in agreement, two children trailing behind their mother in the parade crowd pointed excitedly at Fu Jinxiao, exclaiming, "That's the big brother from lunch!"

"Yes, it's him! Mom, look! He traded my keychain for ice cream," the child's voice rang out clearly, "And he got my sister's fan, too."

Shen Xingsui turned to Fu Jinxiao, eyes wide in disbelief.

Another child eagerly chimed in, "He collected a lot of badges and stickers, too!"

"Exactly!" One of the children, not wanting to miss an opportunity to tease, cheerfully added, "Thank you for the ice cream, big brother!"

...

The parade continued, and after a brief exchange, they moved on.

Fu Jinxiao shifted his gaze back to Shen Xingsui's teasing smile, and the latter remarked, "Don't always compare with others, huh?"
