The wedding process is that Qi Jingyao wants to "hit the door" with his best man group, propose to Han Lele, then pick up people and offer tea to both parents.

Yu Antong is a member of Han Lele's best man group, so he has to act separately from Xing Lixuan.

Alongside the other groomsmen, he was there to "block the door" for Han Lele, while Xing Lixuan was aiding Qi Jingyao in the "door-crashing" tradition.

"They're coming!" One of Han Lele's groomsmen stood guard at the door. Catching sight of Qi Jingyao and his group approaching, he dashed inside to secure the door, "Prepare yourselves, everyone! We can't let them in too easily!"

"Ha! Unless they give enough red envelopes, we won't open this door!"

As they spoke, Qi Jingyao's group arrived, banging on the door from the outside, "Lele, open up!"

The groomsmen inside taunted, "Want to take her away? You've got to pay!"

Qi Jingyao craftily replied, "Open the door a bit, how can I give you the red envelopes otherwise?"

    "Slip them under the door."

Bao Ji, one of the outside groomsmen, cheekily said, "The red envelopes are too thick to fit!"

Given the negligible gap between the hotel door and the floor, Yu Antong and his companions exchanged glances, deliberating, "Should we open just a crack for them?"

"Yes, but make sure to hold firm against the door. We can't let them burst in!"

The banging persisted from outside, "Hurry up! Don't you want your red envelopes?"

The doorknob turned. Qi Jingyao signaled his group with a glance. As the door opened just a fraction, before anyone inside could react, Qi Jingyao and his groomsmen seized the moment, forcefully charging in.

The groomsmen inside were caught off guard by the swift breach. Before they could regroup, Qi Jingyao and his team swarmed in.

"Red envelopes! Handing out red envelopes!" Bao Ji enthusiastically stuffed them into the hands of those inside, effectively neutralizing any resistance.

There was playful shoving, laughter, and chaos all around, making for a lively scene.

Amidst the confusion, Qi Jingyao broke through the defenses, heading straight for Han Lele, who was hiding at the back. Embracing him, he proposed, "Lele, will you marry me?"

"Lele shouldn't say yes so easily!" The groomsmen, after collecting their red envelopes, still wanted to make things a bit tough for Qi Jingyao. "You have to correctly answer ten questions before our Lele can accept!"

Qi Jingyao gave Han Lele a swift kiss before chuckling, "Alright, ask away!"

"When's Lele's birthday? You have to mention the lunar calendar date too!"

"February 18th, and in the lunar calendar..." Qi Jingyao began, hesitating momentarily before asserting, "the fifteenth of the first lunar month."

The groomsmen turned to Han Lele, "Is he right, Lele?"

Han Lele nodded, both amazed and delighted. He hadn't expected Qi Jingyao to remember his lunar birthday.

"How did you know?" Han Lele queried.

Qi Jingyao responded with a proud grin, "I remember everything about you."

"Where and when did you two first meet? Day, month, and precise time?"

    "Our first encounter was..."

The groomsmen continually pulled cunning tricks, making Qi Jingyao work incredibly hard to retrieve Han Lele.

After offering tea to their respective parents, as noon approached, everyone made their way to the outdoor wedding venue.

Neatly arranged chairs had been set up on the pristine green lawn, positioned on either side, with a path cleared between them.

Flanking the path were bouquets in alternating soft pinks and blues, leading to an impressively designed floral archway at the end.

As the guests settled into their seats, a pair of charming flower children stepped onto the flower-strewn path, occasionally faltering as they scattered petals from their little baskets.

Hand in hand, Qi Jingyao and Han Lele followed the flower children, journeying down the floral path towards the ceremonial stage.

On the stage, the couple recited their love vows, exchanged rings, and embraced for an impassioned kiss.

The guests burst into cheers and applause, showering the newlyweds with blessings.

A hint of envy filled Yu Antong’s eyes. How romantic! It made him think back to his own wedding.

He suddenly felt an urge to give Xing Lixuan a good thrashing!

Although he had previously told Xing Lixuan there was no need for a grand proposal, he couldn’t help but feel a tinge of regret about the casualness of their own wedding.

Noticing Yu Antong's expression, Xing Lixuan squeezed his hand without uttering a word.

After the wedding feast, some of the elders departed by plane, while the rest returned to the hotel for a break. The younger crowd had a beach bonfire party planned for the evening.

Once back in their hotel room, Yu Antong made a video call home, wanting to see if their child, Xiaonian, was upset.

Xiaonian had just woken up, and upon receiving the video call, Xing's mother held the phone to the child's face.

The moment the call connected, Yu Antong was greeted with Xiaonian's chubby face filling up the entire screen.

So adorable! He wished he could hold and shower him with kisses!

"Ba ba!" Xiaonian's eyes widened with joy upon seeing his dad and reached out for the phone.

Yu Antong encouraged, "Say 'daddy', sweetie."

    Xiaonian shouted gleefully, "Ba ba!"

"Oh, what a smart boy Xiaonian is!" Yu Antong heaped praises on his son. "So clever, just like his dad. A little genius, indeed!"

Xing Lixuan chuckled, noting that Yu Antong couldn't resist complimenting himself.

"What's so funny?" Yu Antong playfully hit him. "Say hello to your son!"

Xiaonian looked at Xing Lixuan and repeated, "Ba ba!"

Now having mastered a new word, Xiaonian used it for everyone. This time, Xing Lixuan got to bask in the full joy of fatherhood.

He spoke a few words with his son, and seeing the little one still eager to play with Yu Antong, he adjusted the camera to allow Yu Antong to entertain him.

Yu Antong played with Xiaonian for a while, ending the call only when it was the toddler's milk time. After hanging up, he noticed Xing Lixuan was no longer in the room, having left at some point unnoticed.

Imaginary Chinese Network (Note: this seems like a book or website name and is translated for context)

Recalling earlier, when he was playing with Xiaonian, Yu Antong remembered Xing Lixuan mentioning something about Bao Ji looking for him and that he would step out briefly.

At the time, Yu Antong was too preoccupied with Xiaonian to question why Bao Ji sought out Xing Lixuan.

Not sure how long the evening's bonfire party would last, and considering the late-night they had previously, fatigue was setting in. Yu Antong decided to take a nap, hoping to be more refreshed for the evening's festivities.

Before dozing off, he texted Xing Lixuan.

Yu Antong: "Taking a nap. Whenever you come back, please be quiet so you don't wake me up. [KittenWithThreateningGesture.jpg]"

After waiting a bit without a reply, exhaustion overcame Yu Antong, and he drifted off to sleep, his phone slipping from his grasp onto the bed.

Bao Ji, Wei Zhejun, and many other friends were summoned by Xing Lixuan, assuming there was some important matter at hand.

After hearing Xing Lixuan's words, they all exclaimed, "Wow, who would've thought you'd have a day like this, old Xing!"

"I still remember the sour expression on your face during your wedding, old Xing. That icy demeanor left you friendless back then. Regretting it now, aren't you?"

Xing Lixuan, with an impassive face, stared back at his mocking friends, "Done laughing?"

Bao Ji's laughter was suddenly halted by Xing Lixuan's cold demeanor, "Is that how you ask for a favor?"

Xing Lixuan replied, "I recall keeping a certain incident from last month a secret from your father, didn't I?"

    Damn! So cunning!

Bao Ji quickly changed his tone, "Don't worry, I'll help you out, brother."

The last ray of sunlight dipped below the horizon, plunging the world into twilight.

As darkness enveloped the outside, the room became even murkier.

Awakening from his nap, Yu Antong rubbed his eyes, only to be greeted by pitch black. He sat up with a start.

He grabbed his phone to check the time, stunned at how long he'd slept.

He had assumed Xing Lixuan would return shortly and hadn't thought to set an alarm, resulting in hours of unintended sleep.

"Husband?" Yu Antong called out tentatively, but the room remained silent with no reply.

"Still not back?" Yu Antong murmured, turning on the light and washing his face before trying to video call Xing Lixuan.

Just as the call connected, he heard the door opening and went out to check, phone in hand.

It was Xing Lixuan, returning at last.

"Just woke up?" Xing Lixuan noticed his tousled hair, smoothing it back as he asked.

"Mhm." Yu Antong tossed his phone aside, shuffling to comb his hair. "What did Bao Ji want? You were gone quite a while."

Xing Lixuan replied, "There was some business at the company. I had a video conference outside, didn't want to disturb your sleep."

"Oh." Without overthinking, Yu Antong changed clothes and, once ready, said, "The bonfire party must've started. Let’s hurry over."

"Alright." Xing Lixuan took his hand, and they walked toward the pinkish shoreline.

"Aren’t we taking the sightseeing car? Are you sure you know the way?" Stepping out into the cool sea breeze, Yu Antong swung Xing Lixuan’s arm as they walked, asking incredulously.

Xing Lixuan simply replied, "I do."

Before long, they reached the beach. Contrary to expectations of a lively crowd, it was empty except for them, the silence punctuated only by the soft crash of waves.

"Are you sure this is the place? Did we get the location wrong?" Yu Antong questioned, taking in the surroundings.

"Why aren’t you..." Yu Antong began, but turning to look at Xing Lixuan, his words halted.

Behind him, numerous tiny ground lights illuminated, casting a warm yellow hue, painting the sand in dreamy rose-gold tones.

The lights stretched out endlessly, resembling a galaxy of stars descended to earth, an ethereal sight that seemed too magical to be real.

Meanwhile, from seemingly nowhere, Xing Lixuan produced a bouquet of roses and held a ring in his other hand.

Under a deep blue sky where a crescent moon hung, the moonlight meshed with the lights below, creating an intoxicating scene.

The tall man knelt on one knee, gazing deeply into Yu Antong's eyes, "Baby, I love you. Will you marry me?"

Touched and teary-eyed, Yu Antong extended his hand, "Yes, I will."

Friends who were hiding suddenly appeared, erupting in cheers and applause.

"Woo! Kiss! Give him a kiss!"

    "Wow! So envious!"

"Two weddings in one day? What sorcery is this? I want a partner too!"

    "Kiss him! Do it!"

Yu Antong, initially on the brink of tears, couldn’t help but laugh at their antics.

Xing Lixuan placed the ring on Yu Antong's finger and, amid the jubilation and laughter of their friends, pulled him into a passionate embrace, sealing their promise with a kiss…

The sea breeze swept past them, carrying away any remnants of regret and leaving behind boundless joy.

    The End.

    Author's Note:

This marks the end! However, there are a few extra chapters to come.

Sneak peek of my next story: "After Traversing the Book, My Flirtation Backfired".

For two consecutive days, Lu Yuncheng dreamt of becoming a submissive character from a trashy novel.

The character from the book, bearing his name, knew that the dominant character saw him only as a substitute for a past love, yet still wanted to marry him. This infuriated Lu Yuncheng.

In his dream, Lu Yuncheng shed the submissive demeanor. If the arrogant dominant just lusted after his body, then so be it! After all, it was just a dream and he had nothing to lose.

After some fun moments, he cleaned up and returned, waking up immediately after.

Perhaps the third time's the charm, for on the third day, he truly entered the book's world.

    Lu Yuncheng: "...Don't panic."

If he could just seduce the arrogant dominant, then divorce him a day before the return of the past love, he'd be free from this cliche plot.

Though the dominant character's behavior seemed different from the book, it wasn't a big issue. With a hearty dose of flirtation, Lu Yuncheng successfully led a carefree married life, solely focused on the physical.

Half a year later, despite his waiting, Lu Yuncheng didn't return to his world, and the past love had already come back.

Not wanting to suffer any longer, Lu Yuncheng presented a divorce agreement to Gu Mingqi: "Sign this."

Gu Mingqi's face turned cold: "What's this? You want to walk away after having your fun?"

Lu Yuncheng wondered: Why does the dominant character seem so infatuated with me?

It seemed his flirtation went too far and caused complications.

    From the dominant's perspective:

Gu Mingqi found himself in a melodramatic BL novel his little brother enjoyed. He wasn’t bothered; his heart wasn't set on romance but on his career.

But wait, even though his wife was pampered and dramatic, why did he find him increasingly adorable?

Just when Gu Mingqi was beginning to enjoy married life, his troublesome spouse suddenly wanted a divorce.

    Divorce? Over my dead body!

Playful submissive vs. Initially cold-hearted magnate turned doting husband, both characters traversing different stories.

    A 1v1 comedic romance.
