Turning to Master Wei, Shao Qi said calmly, "You know, I've never known your full name. Mind sharing before you meet your end? It'd be a shame if history remembered you without a proper title."

Master Wei glanced at the rocket launcher in Shao Qi's grasp, a tool he had once procured for his disciple. Despite lax firearm regulations, heavy weaponry wasn't available for civilian purchase. The upgraded launchers on the armored vehicle were obtained through military connections, and now they had fallen into enemy hands.

"It seems you've acquired quite the loot."

Shao Qi remarked, "Well, thanks to your wealthy disciples. But none of them compares to you."

Master Wei sighed, "I'm but a wanderer without a permanent home. All my treasures are right here. If you dare, come take them. Ah, finding my name is easy. Recall the 'Elite Initiative' I proposed years ago? Leaders preached about equality and avoiding class conflict. But secretly, many cultivated their power behind the scenes, didn't they?"

Shao Qi blocked Zhou You, "Don't argue with him, he's mad." Turning to Master Wei with a dark expression, he remarked, "Wei Lanjun, it's you. While I once found merit in your writings, I cannot condone sacrificing the ordinary to create a sanctuary solely for martial artists. Mankind isn't just about martial arts. Scholars, scientists, technicians push technological advancements, and martial artists protect our homes. Both are indispensable."

Zhou You swiftly intercepted, cutting off Master Wei's escape route, effectively pinning him from both sides.

Master Wei's most formidable technique was his array formations, not only could he harness the life force of beings for his dark arts, but he also had some lethal arrays. However, forming these arrays takes time. He thought his Binding Spirit Formation was foolproof, yet he met his match in these two.

Before encountering Zhou You, he had seven direct disciples, dozens of guards, and an undefeated puppet. These were his hidden cards, but now, he stood alone.

It appeared his initial move was a mere feint, leading Shao Qi and Zhou You to believe Zhou You was his target when he had always intended to flee to the woods.

Shao Qi, utterly drained, said as he dropped the heavy rocket launcher, "I'm out of energy. You'll have to pursue him yourself."

Zhou You resignedly thought: It always comes down to me in the end, doesn't it?

A childish roar echoed from the forest. Zhou You feared the young white tiger was in danger, but was stunned to see a large porcupine emerge from the woods with the tiger chasing behind, heading straight for Master Wei.

Master Wei's speed worked against him now; unable to stop in time, he collided directly with the charging porcupine.

"Ah..."

"What...?" Zhou You gaped in astonishment, "Is he dead?"

As Zhou You spoke, a dark mist erupted from the bloodied figure, enveloping the porcupine. The scene obscured from view, but moments later the mist dissipated, revealing the fallen porcupine and a blood-soaked Master Wei standing in place.

Master Wei, with a terrifying smile, turned towards them, his grin dripping with blood. He moved painfully, tracing a formation on the ground with his own blood.

Unfamiliar with the formation, Zhou You fired his gun at Master Wei's forehead. Suddenly immobilized, a beam penetrated Master Wei's brow, causing him to explode into a cloud of blood, leaving no trace of a corpse.

"Is he... dead?" Zhou You asked Shao Qi, utterly bewildered.

Shao Qi was equally puzzled. By all accounts, after such an event and a laser gun to the head, survival should be impossible.

Yet he'd never heard of a laser gun reducing someone to a mere mist. The scene left behind - a pool of blood without even a shred of clothing - was beyond comprehension.
