Shortly after, a strange fish with long tentacles emerged, trying to seize the boat. Zhou You sliced off its tentacles with flying knives. As the creature roared, its many eyes surfaced, creating a nightmarish sight.

Zhou You thought, "They couldn't have taken this route. How would a group of children survive against such a creature?"

But soon, he saw floating clothes on the lake, seemingly of children, and farther away, human remains, indicating some had perished.

Filled with sorrow, Zhou You stared at the creature and said, "You don't seem native to this place. Those who brought you here are truly malicious."
