"But you are Marshal Shao!" someone remarked matter-of-factly.

"Indeed, we're just ordinary people, not like you."

Shao Qi waved it off, insisting, "What I'm trying to illustrate here... Come, let me show you firsthand."

He descended from the platform, leading the crowd out of the base. As they proceeded, the following crowd grew larger.

Many were unsure of where Shao Qi was leading them and what he intended to show, but there was an inexplicable sense of security in following him.

The robot continued firing. Some bullets hit the bull without causing harm, while others missed, creating significant craters in the ground and showcasing their immense power.

After about two minutes, the robot sounded an alarm: "Warning! The mutated bull is overpowering. Requesting higher-tier weaponry support."

In a split second, the robot tossed its gun aside, its arm morphing into a cannon. With a loud boom, a shell landed near the bull's feet. The explosion wounded the beast, causing superficial and burn injuries, but it remained alive.

The injured mutated bull was now in a full rage, its charge causing the very ground to tremble.

After running a certain algorithm, the robot signaled a retreat, dashing towards the gathering of people.

A wave of panic swept over the crowd.

But the bull couldn't reach them. A blade swiftly descended upon the bull's neck. The thick hide that even a cannon couldn't pierce was effortlessly sliced, severing the beast's head.

Blood spurted out, many swallowed hard, as if the awe from that blade still lingered, invoking reverence.

“Next!” announced Shao Qi, as a truck drove in, releasing a mid-tier mutated beast.

“Is that a mutated hyena?”

“Seeing it up close, it's massive.”

“This is a mid-tier beast, right? The mutated bull earlier was just a low-tier.”

“When I watch warriors battle these creatures in videos, it looks easy. But seeing it firsthand, my legs would give out.”

The frantic hyena, now desperate to escape, seemed overshadowed by the robots, mostly due to the initial suppression by the five robots. But laser rifles drained energy fast, and soon some robots ran out of power.
