Young and lively Daoist apprentice Li Qingzhi is sent to study as an exchange student at a Western magic academy. The academy’s students are exceptionally enthusiastic, harboring a keen curiosity for Eastern magic, and the young Daoist is delighted to share with them the myriad of items he has brought.

Unfortunately, the academy, mindful of the exchange student’s well-being, promptly posts notices:

Do not use the Eastern student’s talismans as Halloween decorations, do not dust with flywhisks, do not ride swords for flight, do not make chocolate candies in alchemy cauldrons, and certainly do not play checkers on the Tai Chi Bagua board.

The Western students, now bereft of their amusement, feel somewhat disheartened, but Li Qingzhi swiftly devises alternative ways to entertain, and the fun resumes anew.

Before long, however, the academy’s top-ranking, young head student posts another stern notice:

No hotpot cooking in crucibles, no using wands as chopsticks, no knitting with magic wands, no dressing magical creatures in tiny clothes, and most definitely no switching brooms to sword-riding mode for reckless flying.

Classmate A, who frequently joins Li Qingzhi for play, can’t help but grumble, “Ludwig is such a stickler; the academy hasn’t even intervened yet.”

Classmate B counters, “Maybe it’s because we didn’t invite him to play our Bagua checkers last time.”

Upon hearing this, Li Qingzhi glances towards the distant, expressionless, and coldly elegant handsome youth, then shakes his head involuntarily, “How could Ludwig possibly enjoy playing checkers?”

Yet, a few days later, his blonde friend points in his direction, somewhat annoyed,

“I’m the only one allowed to ride!”

Li Qingzhi breaks into a sweat upon hearing this, “…”

He must be referring to my sword…right?!

Initially, everyone assumes Li Qingzhi to be an idle, pleasure-seeking delinquent.

To their surprise, Li Qingzhi continually showcases bizarre yet astonishing unknown spells, summoning a seemingly dull stone lion that surpasses any conjured beast, and even excels in the toughest herbology class!

Even more unexpected, the once aloof and proud head student starts to take particular interest in this peculiar Easterner.

Three years later, Li Qingzhi returns to the mountains to visit.

His master, tears streaming down his face, asks, “Qingzhi, have you studied magic diligently?” Finally, the East can receive a fresh infusion of Western knowledge.

Li Qingzhi, as if in pleasant surprise, pulls out a blonde beauty from behind and grins, utterly carefree:

“Yes, I’ve brought back a fresh Western boy!”

Master: ?

Master: …Well, there was no need for him to be this fresh!
