    Chapter 130

Du Henbie had naturally been notified and would arrive within an hour.

In the meantime, Tian Ruan needed to find a way to keep He Lansi occupied. Fortunately, they’d brought bodyguards—even if He Lansi was strong, he wouldn’t stand a chance against four tough, well-trained guards stationed at both ends of the hallway.

"Open up, sis-in-law, it’s me—your brother," Tian Ruan blurted out, clearly influenced by too many trashy novels.

Yu Jingmo glanced at him. "Into this kind of play, huh?"

    Tian Ruan: "…"

A moment later, the door opened, revealing He Lansi’s gorgeous face. His lips curled in a half-smile as he looked at them. "Fancy meeting you here. You on vacation too?"

Tian Ruan pretended not to know about He Lansi’s embezzling two billion and nodded. "Yeah, what a coincidence. I saw you come in during dinner and wondered why you're here alone."

He Lansi narrowed his fox-like eyes, studying the seemingly innocent young man. "You don't know?"

"Know what?" Tian Ruan blinked. "Why didn’t big brother come with you? It's dangerous for you to be alone in a foreign country."

He Lansi: "Yeah, the danger’s right here—pretending to be my brother-in-law. That eager to get with me?"

    Tian Ruan: "...No! I misspoke!"

He Lansi glanced at Yu Jingmo’s icy expression. "Didn’t think you had the guts. Otherwise, even an iron ass would get wrecked."

Tian Ruan got back on track. "Why didn’t big brother come? Did you do something to betray him and run off?"

"Yeah, I swiped two billion from him."

    "..."

"Tch, knew you couldn’t lie. Not even surprised—obviously already knew," He Lansi scoffed. "You’re dumb, but don’t lump me in with you."

Tian Ruan sighed and held out his hand. "Pay up. Hand it over."

He Lansi eyed Tian Ruan’s fair, delicate palm—its faint lines and long lifeline interrupted by a break in the middle. "Two billion? Your scrawny arms couldn’t handle that."

Tian Ruan: "I’ll take whatever I can get."

He Lansi dug into his pocket and tossed him a coin. "One dollar. Go have fun with that."

    "..."

They locked eyes, sparks flying between them.

A large hand clamped onto Tian Ruan’s shoulder, steadying him.

Yu Jingmo said calmly, "Whatever the amount, your brother gave it willingly."

Tian Ruan wasn’t really after the money—he knew better. Not only could he not beat He Lansi, but he also couldn’t touch him. Even if He Lansi lost a single hair, the blame would land on him.

The original Du Henbie appeared gentle and refined, but in truth, he was overprotective and cutthroat. Before crossing his bottom line, one could act freely, but once that line was touched, his inner wolf would go wild.

Now, He Lansi had been claimed as Du Henbie’s—no one else could touch him, not even his own family.

"Yeah, big bro’s happy playing the fool. What’re you gonna do?" Tian Ruan said.

Yu Jingmo looked at He Lansi. "What brings you to France?"

He Lansi shrugged, "France has a great *humanistic* environment. I've always liked it."

Yu Jingmo didn’t call him out. Tian Ruan, however, suddenly realized—there were plenty of countries with great cultural environments, yet He Lansi had specifically chosen France. How could he not know that France was Du Henbie’s home turf? If Du Henbie wanted to find him, it would be *like taking candy from a baby*.

Though this "something" was slippery and *elusive*, if one truly wanted to find it, they always could.

He Lansi was *messing with him* on purpose. He just wanted to see if Du Henbie really wanted to find him.

Tian Ruan: "...If someone swindled me out of two billion, I’d *move heaven and earth*, overturn mountains and seas, and *dig to the other side of* the planet to drag them out."

Seeing Tian Ruan’s dead-serious expression, He Lansi *cracked up at that*. "Lucky *for me* you don’t have two billion, hahaha..."

    Tian Ruan *took that personally*.

Yu Jingmo said calmly, "How could he not have two billion?"

Tian Ruan had a sudden realization and *countered*, "Mr. Yu’s money is my money. I have two billion."

He Lansi reached out to him. "Then *mind letting* me swindle you? I want to see you move heaven and earth, overturn mountains and seas, and dig through the planet."

    Tian Ruan: "*In your dreams.*"

He Lansi glanced at the Patek Philippe on his wrist. "You’ve already *held me up* for ten minutes. Mind moving aside?"

Tian Ruan *puffed up* his chest and blocked the door, his gaze resolute. "No."

He Lansi stepped closer, *flashing a bright smile*. "I’ll *just* have to kiss you then."

    Tian Ruan: "..."

Tian Ruan pulled Yu Jingmo in front of him as a shield.

Faced with Yu Jingmo’s *stupidly* handsome face, He Lansi *visibly froze*. "We’ve known each other since childhood. I really can’t bring myself to kiss an old friend."

Yu Jingmo’s expression was icy as he shot Tian Ruan a cold glare.

Tian Ruan quickly explained, "Mr. Yu wouldn’t dare kiss you. Feel free to *murder* him with your eyes."

Yu Jingmo’s current gaze looked like it wanted to kill Tian Ruan instead.

Tian Ruan: "...Fine, fine." He pushed Yu Jingmo aside and *planted himself defiantly* in He Lansi’s way again. "If you dare kiss me, *then* Mr. Yu will kiss my brother!"

    He Lansi: "?"

    Yu Jingmo: "...I won’t."

Tian Ruan: "Then who would you kiss to avenge me?"

Yu Jingmo *let out a long-suffering sigh*, cupped the young man’s face, and leaned down to kiss him.

Their lips moved together, tongues entwining with practiced ease as Yu Jingmo *eased* open the younger man’s mouth, capturing that soft little tongue, teasing and exploring until Tian Ruan’s legs weakened, his breathing grew ragged, and his flushed face *melted into* Yu Jingmo’s chest.

    "Mmm..."

Yu Jingmo *pulled him close* with one hand on his lower back and the other cradling the back of his youthful head, his slender fingers threading through soft, clean hair.

"Mmm... Yu..." Tian Ruan’s voice was muffled, unable to resist as he was pressed against the wall, red-faced and *soundly* kissed.

    He Lansi’s eyes *went wide*.

Studying the kissing scene closely, he eagerly took out his sketchbook and pencil, scratching away at his sketch.

When engrossed in drawing, he would forget everything around him.

He Lansi was utterly enchanted, lost in an artistic trance. It was the first time he realized a kiss could be depicted with such passion—perfect facial proportions, perfect height difference, and the perfect *kabe-don* stance.

This was a sketch worthy of the Muses.

The sketching session lasted forty minutes. Satisfied, He Lansi flipped through his drawings. Indeed, inspiration required various stimuli. Now, ideas were bubbling over like a gushing spring, unstoppable.

He needed to organize his thoughts—when a heavy tread sounded, muffled by the corridor carpet, arriving in an instant.

He Lansi looked up in confusion, only to jolt awake upon seeing the composed yet sharply defined face before him.

Du Henbie glanced down at him, face unreadable. "Inside."

He Lansi turned his face away, eyeing the couple who had volunteered as art models. "You two are devious."

"We were just kissing," Yu Jingmo replied, shielding the blushing Tian Ruan in his arms, his tone indifferent. "You insisted on watching—we couldn’t help it."

    "..."

Curiosity killed the cat. He Lansi tossed the sketchbook at them. "You shameless pair, here!"

Then Du Henbie pushed him into the suite, the door slamming shut behind them.

    Everything went quiet.

Tian Ruan suddenly leaped out of Yu Jingmo’s embrace, snatching the sketchbook to rip it up. Yu Jingmo stopped him. "This is our portrait."

"What kind of portrait is this?" Tian Ruan flushed scarlet, his lips swollen and glossy.

Yu Jingmo tucked it away. "We’ll stash it away."

The hotel’s soundproofing was poor, yet no noise came from inside. Tian Ruan pressed his ear to the door. "Why is it so quiet in there?"

"Maybe they skipped to the main event."

"What?" Tian Ruan didn’t catch on at first, but when he did, his face turned scarlet. "Ahem, since He Lansi watched us, it’s only fair we watch him too."

So he had the bodyguards rig up a scaffold. Eagerly, Tian Ruan climbed to the second-floor window, squashing his nose against the glass to peek inside—his eyes widening instantly.

"Madam, what do you see?" the bodyguard whispered from below.

Tian Ruan raised a finger. "Shh~"

Then he turned back, continuing to watch, his heart racing like a trapped bird.

Yu Jingmo had no interest in the scene inside, but he found the sight of the young man’s perky backside amusing. After dismissing the bodyguards, he plucked a reed, stripped its fluff, leaving behind something resembling a feather tickler.

The long tickler reached toward Tian Ruan’s pert backside, tickling it lightly.

Tian Ruan’s eyes widened, batting the tickler aside.

Yu Jingmo persisted, dangling it near Tian Ruan’s—

Even through fabric, it sent a jolt through him. Tian Ruan: "..."

Tian Ruan turned his head, shooting a glare at the smirking man by the wall.

Yu Jingmo indeed had nothing better to do, so he amused himself by tickling the young man with a reed. Tian Ruan reluctantly reached for the oversized cat teaser, but try as he might, he couldn’t grab it.

Yu Jingmo let out a low chuckle, the sound vibrating in his chest and making one’s ears tingle.

Tian Ruan muttered in embarrassed frustration, “I want the tea.”

Yu Jingmo nodded, lazily toying with the cat teaser in the sun. Unfortunately, his little cat had been distracted by something else entirely.

It wasn’t anything particularly new—just two men wrapped in each other’s arms, kissing passionately, lost in a mix of love and hate, their clothes in disarray.

But for Tian Ruan, this was his first time witnessing such an intense kissing scene up close. He couldn’t tear his eyes away—no wonder He Lansi had forgotten all about time earlier when watching him and Yu Jingmo kiss. Now he understood…

Two handsome men kissing really were a sight to behold.

Du Henbie had He Lansi pinned on the sofa, roughly pulling at his clothes. Just as he was about to go all the way, he suddenly noticed a soft, curious face smooshed against the window glass, wide-eyed with awe and curiosity.

    Du Henbie: "…………"

He Lansi: "Hey, what’s the hold-up?"
