"I live in... Villa 33."

"Oh, that's one of the Phase Two villas, right? It seems quite far from where I am." Xu Sining said.

"Just a quick drive, I'll take you home first."

"You can just call me Brother; after all, I'm older than you."

"Alright." Xu Sining didn't mind, thinking that the other person probably didn't want to have any further contact with him after today.

"She was just here, she left not long ago, telling you to eat the cake while it’s fresh," the maid smiled.

Xu Sinning was led into the kitchen, and Gu Xi quietly went upstairs.

Gu Xi quickly changed clothes and washed his hair.

Then he dried it.

Downstairs, Xu Sinning was captivated by the cake and didn’t come up for a while.

He had plenty of time to disguise himself.

The chef demonstrated his skill with Indian flatbread.

It was the first time Xu Sining had tasted such a pancake, and after eating it, his stomach was bulging.

If he had known the pancake was so delicious, he wouldn't have eaten so much cake.

Feeling full and satisfied, he couldn't sit still and went for a walk, circling the courtyard twice before finally returning to his room.

Gu Xi had been playing on her phone in the room for quite some time.

Upon hearing him come upstairs, she turned off her phone and put it back in the drawer.

The walls of the master bedroom had already been painted white, but the smell was still strong.

Xu Sining habitually walked into the master bedroom, noticed the smell, and realized Gu Xi wasn't there. He then moved to the adjacent secondary bedroom.

Gu Xi was lying on the bed, and the bedroom had a faint fragrance.

He turned his head to look at the person beside him; if Gu Xi stood up, their height difference would be the same as that of the man they encountered today.

Xu Sining flipped through Gu Xi's old photos on his phone.

All the ones online showed Gu Xi in military uniform.

Xu Sining watched him for a while, but seeing no response, he gave up. He didn't dare pry his eyes open again.

However, he decided not to sleep with him tonight.

Xu Sining left the room and walked down the corridor to the end, pushing open a door.

This room was also nice, with a large bay window.
