Chapter 57

"..." Lian Cheng was silent for a long time, finally saying, "Do you need to take care of that?"
Lian Xiusheng gazed at his third brother for a long moment, then rose and left.
Only after the figure vanished from his sight did Lian Cheng suddenly scramble up. He rubbed his face, his heart pounding in his throat, his ears ringing. It wasn't that he didn't like him anymore—how could he still get hard just from being alone?
After a dazed moment, Lian Cheng realized that young men are full of energy and prone to embarrassing situations. He had said Lian Xiusheng was too harsh on himself. While he personally advocated self-restraint, a little self-relief was harmless. But he wondered what exactly troubled Lian Xiusheng...
"Hmm..."
Lian Cheng's wandering thoughts were interrupted by a low moan that suddenly sounded in the room. At first, he thought it had come from him—after all, there was no one else in the room. So he threw off the covers, calm and composed as usual.
If the sound hadn't repeated, leading him to locate its source, Lian Cheng would have almost thought the room was haunted.
Lian Cheng casually threw on some clothes, slipped silently out of bed, and crept to the screen. He peered around it without making a sound. What he saw made his heart nearly leap out of his mouth.
That scoundrel Lian Xiusheng was actually pleasuring himself right behind the screen!
Lian Xiusheng's back was half-turned, his robe loose, the trousers pooling at his ankles swaying like water ripples.
From behind, Lian Cheng could tell exactly what he was doing. A flame of shame and anger burned into his heart, flushing him red from head to toe, freezing him in place. He gripped the hem of his clothes, gritted his teeth, held his breath. Perhaps because he was so agitated, he ground his teeth audibly. Lian Xiusheng's back stiffened noticeably.
Good, good, at least that's a hint for you to stop, Lian Cheng thought, satisfied with himself.
Just as he was about to turn back to the bed, Lian Xiusheng, instead of stopping, turned halfway and glanced sideways at his blushing third brother over his shoulder.
His expression was still calm, but his eyes were bloodshot. Lian Cheng felt his skin crawl at that look and didn't know how to move. He swallowed hard, just to wet his throat, but when his gaze dropped to that swollen, purplish thing, he burned even more fiercely than before.
"You..." Lian Cheng gripped the edge of the screen. "Why didn't you go find another room? How dare you act so lewdly in front of me, your elder brother?"
Lian Xiusheng said nothing, but kept on until that terrifying, pillar-like, red-purple thing spurted out its liquid.
Lian Cheng closed his eyes. Hands trembling, he tore off his own clothes and flung them at Lian Xiusheng's lower half. "Put some clothes on!"
After saying that, without another thought, he went to the inner room and brought out another set of bedding. He climbed onto the bed, wrapped himself tightly in the first quilt, and once Lian Xiusheng had finally finished, washed, and returned, he was already pressed against the wall like a gecko. Hearing the movement behind him, he muttered sullenly, "You sleep on the outside, I'll sleep on the inside. You get one quilt, I get one quilt. From tonight on, we brothers are—mmph! %...&%@#...*!"
Lian Cheng was still speaking, but before he could finish, he felt the quilt he'd deliberately held down being roughly yanked aside. A chill wind swept in. Before he could cry out, his arm was seized and he was dragged backward with great force. Caught off guard, he flailed, reaching for the bed curtains on the wall. With a clatter and crash, the curtains and bead strings collapsed, tumbling down over the two of them. Wrapped in the pink gauze bed canopy embroidered with peach blossoms and clouds, they held each other tightly, like a cocoon of flesh and bone, inseparable.
"What did you say, third brother? Severing ties?" Lian Xiusheng pressed half his body on top of his third brother's—softer than clouds, he feared he might melt him.
Lian Cheng struggled briefly but failed, and said angrily, "I just said it casually, why take it seriously? If you hadn't done that lewd thing in my room, would I have said such a thing?"
"Third brother still thinks I'm a three-year-old child. Even if I've gone wild and depraved, am I still not your sixth brother?" Lian Xiusheng pressed his lips to the back of Lian Cheng's neck, his voice low.
"Without rules, nothing can be accomplished." Lian Cheng pretended to be an old stickler, speaking very seriously.
"Men and women have known love and desire since ancient times. I did that in front of you, first, to reassure you that I'm in good health, and second, to show that I don't keep secrets from you. What, would you rather have me hide from you and guard against you in everything?"
"..." That was definitely not what Lian Cheng meant. Lian Cheng wished he could live in Lian Xiusheng's heart every day, knowing everything about him.
Seeing his third brother's silence, Lian Xiusheng held him even tighter. "Third brother, since we are of one heart, we should be completely open with each other, like ice in a jade pot, like a crystal in the palm, with no concealment. I want to show you everything, tell you everything. Can you do the same?"
"..." After a long moment, Lian Cheng avoided the topic and only said, "Let me go a little; I can't breathe."
Lian Xiusheng loosened his hold slightly but still wouldn't let him go. Lian Cheng sighed and suddenly said, "Xiusheng, in a few days, I'll go speak with Mother. How about we host a flower-viewing banquet for you too? The lotuses in our family's ponds are blooming so brilliantly. Those ladies and young misses in the capital would surely come to see them."
Lian Xiusheng lowered his eyes, his lashes brushing against the back of Lian Cheng's neck. Lian Cheng felt a little ticklish and inexplicably a bit sour. Of course he wanted to be close with Lian Xiusheng, but he felt the other's perception seemed a bit off. Being close didn't mean doing such things in front of each other—that was a matter between husband and wife.
As Lian Xiusheng's elder brother, Lian Cheng felt it was his duty to correct him. But as a brother, thinking that Lian Xiusheng would one day marry and leave him, he couldn't help feeling melancholy—oh well, isn't that what parents do?
"You are my elder brother, third brother. If we're to discuss marriage, you should go first. I wouldn't dare to be ahead of you," Lian Xiusheng said coolly and lightly.
Lian Cheng: "..."
True, Lian Cheng thought. Older brothers and younger brothers, older sisters and younger sisters—there's always an order. Though it's not a hard rule, every family observes it conventionally.
It never occurred to him that Lian Xiusheng might still have feelings for him. If this were a modern setting, maybe, but in an ancient setting, it was because ancient people were far too open-minded. When it came to men and women, few truly talked about love; they often took what they needed, or simply sought their own satisfaction. Even liking men was like liking the qin, chess, calligraphy, or painting—a mere hobby.
Lian Cheng assumed Lian Xiusheng was the former: his life had been full of hardships, and his third brother had warmed his heart, moving him so much that he wanted his third brother to warm his bed too.
That would be defiling human relationships—unacceptable.
-
The next day, Huqiu and Qiong Hua came to fix Lian Cheng's bed canopy. Qiong Hua had no good words: "These beads are tributes. I don't mind you two brothers wrestling in bed, but take care of them. Two grown men, still acting like children tussling on the bed."
Both had already left for their respective offices, unaware of the trouble their poor sleeping habits had caused at home. Huqiu had no rest either; following Tong Xue's instructions, he dug holes in the designated plot and planted a basket of sweet potatoes.
Man Cai now treated the affairs of Penglai Pavilion as his own, since they were all in the same courtyard. He came to water the plants. While watering, Huqiu noticed a red bump on his neck and reached out to poke it. Jin Cai, who was approaching, gave him a hard slap. Huqiu wailed and went to complain to Qiong Hua. Qiong Hua was busy picking herbs for summer mosquito-repelling sachets with Lian Cheng and ignored him, only saying that Jin Cai had some martial skills—why provoke him for no reason.
"Good sister, I wasn't provoking him. I saw Man Cai had a mosquito bite on his neck, so I was just checking."
Qiong Hua shot him a sharp glance. "That's even more provoking! Who in the whole household doesn't know that Man Cai is Jin Cai's darling? He gets a mosquito bite—what do you need to check for? He has his own good mother to take care of him."
Tong Xue came over. "I've made a few sachets first, with shepherd's purse flowers, just for us. Take some to the sisters and little brother of Yiqiu's courtyard later. Since we're going to live together from now on, there's no distinction between yours and mine."
Though summer hadn't arrived yet, Tong Xue had been thoughtful and prepared mosquito and insect repellents early. Her hands were skillful, and the pouches she sewed were very pretty. The maids and pages from both courtyards especially liked wearing them, which later led people from the back courtyards to come and ask for them. Tong Xue smiled and gave them all away.
Only those from Zhiyuan Pavilion were restless. They brought the sachets specifically to show the two young masters. When Lian Tao and Lian Xiao saw them, they abandoned their books and ran to Penglai Pavilion to demand some. Qiong Hua politely explained that the daytime sachets were for servants, and the ones made for the young masters weren't ready yet.
The two threw themselves at her to grab them. Qiong Hua couldn't stop them. Her hair was disheveled from the struggle, and her hairpins and rings fell all over the ground—many of which were gifts from Lian Cheng. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she slapped each of them across the face, making the two brats bawl and scream for their parents.
When Lian Cheng returned from his office and was about to go to the Orchid Garden to practice his sword, he was grabbed by the tearful Sixth Madam. "Good Third Brother, please spare your two little brothers! I know you've become important now. I won't say anything if you, as the elder brother, want to discipline them. But how can you let your own maid hit your brothers? Third Brother, you must stand up for your brothers!"
Lian Cheng's head was throbbing. He could only go back to Penglai Pavilion first. He asked Huqiu where Qiong Hua was. Huqiu nervously said Sister Qiong Hua was still crying in her room. Many of her ornaments were broken, and she had nearly been disfigured. "Just now, Sister Qiong Hua was about to hang herself. If Sister Tong Xue and I hadn't stopped her, Master, you might never have seen her again!"
Seeing that Huqiu was reciting this like a script, Lian Cheng knew someone must have coached him. Unfortunately, Huqiu was not cut out for it; he kept saying "uh" and "well," and the story was full of holes.
"What happened?" Lian Cheng asked.
Sixth Madam recounted the incident: "All over a few pouches. Not even valuable things. If my sons wanted two, what's wrong with that? She had to hit them like she was eating them alive! She was bought for a few taels of silver—does she think she's a young lady of the house?"
After listening, Lian Cheng said with a smile, "Sixth Madam, why get angry? Don't ruin your health over someone worthless."
Sixth Madam's eyes widened. "Third Brother isn't going to stand up for your brothers?"
"They're spoiled rotten. I can't say much about her either; I usually dare not provoke her. If Sixth Madam feels wronged, I'll talk to her this evening and make her come kowtow to you and apologize."
This reply made Tao even angrier. She wiped her tears with her handkerchief. "If Third Brother won't handle it, I'll go find the Madam myself. In such a big household, my children are abused by servants for no reason. It's completely unreasonable!"
Not long after, to Lian Cheng's surprise, someone from the Orchid Garden came. It was Yuan Shun, who usually didn't move in the inner quarters. He brought two pages, one carrying a bench and the other a plank, saying that the Madam had ordered twenty strokes of the board for Qiong Hua.
Lian Cheng stood in front of Qiong Hua's door. "Mother, why punish without distinguishing right from wrong?"
Yuan Shun was a small man with small features and a shrewd look. He said respectfully, "Hitting a superior is normally fifty strokes. This reduction to twenty is out of consideration for you, young master. You should thank the Madam, not criticize her."
As they argued, Qiong Hua came out on her own. Her eyes were still red. She said, "Go ahead and beat me. If you don't beat me to death today, I'll live to a hundred years and watch those two little beasts die a miserable death!"
Lian Cheng tried to take the punishment for her, but Lian Xiusheng pulled him back from behind. "The one who tied the bell must untie it. Qiong Hua needs to learn her place. The Madam's discipline is proper. Right now, Third Brother should go teach your two younger brothers some manners."
The paddle was raised high without any give and slammed down hard, but Qiong Hua didn’t make a single sound. Tong Xue, beside her, covered her mouth and cried. Only when the beating was over did Yuan Shun step forward from the side, bowed with his hands folded, and asked, “Does the young master have any further orders? If not, this lowly servant will go report to the Madam.”
“There are matters, indeed,” Lian Cheng said coldly. “You’re coming with me to Zhiyuan Pavilion.”
It was proper for the Madam to discipline a maidservant, and it was also proper for an elder brother to discipline his younger brothers.
Tao Shi did not live in Zhiyuan Pavilion, but she was there today. She was heartbroken and had hoped to seize this opportunity to convince the Madam to let her move in with her two sons, but she failed. Still, at least venting her anger for her sons gave her some comfort.
Yuan Shun led the way. When Tao Shi saw him, her mood lifted considerably, and she asked if the slave girl had been beaten to death. Before she could get an answer, Lian Cheng appeared from behind. Huqiu carried over a large armchair and set it down in the center of the courtyard. Yuan Shun first bowed to Tao Shi, saying, “Third Brother says he’s free today and has come to have a talk with the younger brothers.”
Tao Shi blinked, instantly understanding what was coming. Before she could react, her two sons were forcibly pinned down on two long benches. Lian Tao and Lian Xiao had their pants stripped off cleanly. The servants Yuan Shun brought didn’t pull out paddles this time—instead, each produced a tender bamboo switch from his sleeve. At the first strike, both boys started wailing like banshees, crying out for Sixth Madam.
Initially, Tao Shi wanted to curse, but when she turned to look at Lian Cheng, his eyes half-closed, lounging lazily in the armchair. He still had on his dark crow-blue robe and *futou* headdress, not taken off. He looked less like he was disciplining his little brothers at home and more like he was carrying out an execution.
Seeing his cold, untouchable demeanor, Tao Shi wanted to plead, but Tong Xue supported her arm and said, “You are the young master’s Sixth Madam—don’t degrade him.”
Later, as they took their leave, dusk had already fallen. Yuan Shun and his men left swiftly and cleanly. Lian Cheng stood up, greeted Tao Shi, then crouched down in front of Lian Tao and Lian Xiao. He wiped the tears and snot off their faces with a handkerchief and said, “Once is okay, twice is okay, but not three times. This is the second time. Another time, and Third Brother will not be lenient.”
After that, Lian Cheng tossed the handkerchief and walked away. The moment he left, Qing Zhu from Lanyuan arrived at Zhiyuan Pavilion. She helped Tao Shi up and conveyed Zhang Ailian’s message: from now on, Tao Shi was not to set foot in Zhiyuan Pavilion again. If she showed up uninvited, the master would send the two boys to be raised at a manor outside the city.
“The master’s heart is too biased. They are all his own sons. Is my son just roadside grass and mud puddle sludge? I’ll go talk to him right now!” Tao Shi was clearly unconvinced, shaking off Qing Zhu. But before she could get out the door, Lian Xiao called out to her from the bench.
“Sixth Madam, please don’t stir up trouble. If only you could get us somewhere decent, that would be fine. But every time, you get us a good thrashing. Sister Qiong Hua hit us, but we started it by bothering her first. You insisted we were precious and she couldn’t touch us. Now look—she can’t hit us, but Third Brother sure can!”
“All under heaven is shared, and the virtuous and able are chosen. Sixth Madam, don’t argue about who’s better, Third Brother or us. If we study hard, we can pass the imperial exams and become officials. We will not be inferior to anyone.”
Tao Shi could not believe her ears. She walked up to the two boys and said, “You are naturally more precious than that little tramp. Even if you did bother her, so what? Where did you learn to talk like that?”
Lian Xiao replied, “Our teacher is learned and broad-minded, thoroughly versed in all the schools of thought. He’s Master Guan Lian from the community school.”
Tao Shi said nothing more, wiped away her tears, and left. She left bitterly, her heart full of resentment. As they walked, she asked Qing Zhu who Guan Lian was. Qing Zhu found it hard to answer and could only comfort her. Seeing her being evasive, Tao Shi grew suspicious. If this old master was so learned, why had she never heard of him? And why would he teach her sons such twisted ideas?
Qing Zhu walked beside her, carrying a lantern. “Sixth Madam was too impulsive today. Tong Xue and Qiong Hua have grown up with Third Brother, so he values them greatly. Why must you antagonize them? Offending Third Brother is not a serious matter—he is the most easygoing person in the household. But if you touch those he cherishes, he will find a way to vent their anger.”
Tao Shi cried out hoarsely, “He beat his own brothers for the sake of a maidservant! Is he trying to overturn the moral order of this world?!”
-
Although Qiong Hua had taken a beating, Yuan Shun, mindful of her being Tong Xue’s sister, had gone easy on her and not struck too hard. After resting for three or four days, she was able to get up and walk. On the day she could walk, the two young masters from the rear courtyard sent someone to deliver a gold-dusted round fan as an apology, which made her both laugh and cry.
Lian Cheng did not know that Qiong Hua had recovered. He had not beaten Lian Ba and Lian Jiu solely for her sake. As the two younger ones grew older, he did not want another low-rent version of Lian Xiusheng to emerge in the family. To prevent trouble before it happened, he decided to personally teach these two little brats.
On one side were family matters, on the other official duties. The matter of Lou Lan was not yet resolved. A few days after returning to the yamen, orders came from above to search his home again. This time, Lian Cheng was sent.
Lian Cheng led a dozen or so captains and two centurions. The weather was gradually getting hotter, and Lian Cheng had a gourd of sour plum soup hanging from his waist. He rode on horseback, drinking as he went, while Lou Lan rode behind him, his face full of disgust.
When they arrived at the Grand Princess’s mansion, Lian Cheng immediately became serious. He stood expressionlessly under the gate and waved his hand. “Search.”
Before long, a woman of striking and dignified beauty came out from the main hall. Her hair was piled high with gold-threaded hairpins, studded with pearls and jade. She wore a plain blue brocade vest with cloud patterns, and her skirt flowed like the waters of rivers and mountains. She was like a celestial being. Behind her followed about a dozen maidservants, some fanning her, others carrying incense burners. Before she even reached him, her presence overwhelmed Lian Cheng.
“Commissioner Lian, what a grand air you have, bringing my son to search my mansion,” Li Mo said as she stepped forward, her hand already raised to strike. But before the slap could land, the young man in front of her crashed to his knees with a thud.
Lian Cheng kowtowed several times. “Your subordinate pays homage to Your Highness. Your subordinate trembles in awe before Your Majesty’s dignity.”
Li Mo slowly lowered her hand and gave a cold, mocking laugh. “What a slick little child. You didn’t bow earlier or later—only when you knew I was about to hit you did you kneel so promptly.”
“Your subordinate has long admired the Grand Princess’s renowned reputation. At the first sight of your phoenix-like countenance, my body turned to stone…”
“Enough, cut the idle chatter,” Li Mo interrupted, sweeping her gaze over the pack of hounds in the courtyard, looking exhausted. “Since my imperial brother insists on a search, then search. He hasn’t even come carrying a shovel to dig up the yard himself. If I were really hiding a living person, would he still be unable to find them after all this time? Besides, Second Brother hasn’t…”
“Mother!” Lou Lan, standing behind Lian Cheng, said helplessly, “Why bring up those things for no reason? Go inside now. I’ll handle things out here.”
Lian Cheng quietly raised his head from below, looking up at the Grand Princess. Under the sunlight, her head was covered in dazzling jewels, so bright that it stung his eyes.
But before he could take a good look at her rare and noble attire, the Grand Princess seemed to sense something. She looked down at this bold commissioner, and the next moment, she looked as if she had seen a ghost. Her dignified expression suddenly changed dramatically. She stumbled back a step, pushed away the maids who came to help her, and hurriedly knelt in front of Lian Cheng.
Her fingers were as cold as ice as she gently lifted Lian Cheng’s face. The joy in her eyes slowly faded away. “Just now I saw you, and you looked so similar. Now I see you, and you look nothing like him at all.”
Lian Cheng pondered—could there be a hidden literary plot in this book?
After the woman left, Lou Lan looked at Lian Cheng with a complicated expression and said, “Commissioner, when you see my mother again, you don’t need to kneel and kowtow. She is influenced by her elder brother and dislikes such vulgar formalities.”
“Elder brother? The current emperor?”
Lou Lan did not answer. He only told the others to search quickly.
Naturally, nothing was found. In fact, none of them knew what edict they were supposed to be searching for. If it was imperial wood, who would openly hide large quantities of timber in their home? If it was gold and silver, the Grand Princess’s mansion had no shortage of that. But aside from Lian Cheng, everyone from the Imperial Guard Office wore expressions of understanding, as if they were used to carrying out inexplicable orders, especially those targeting the Grand Princess.
On the way back, Lian Cheng passed a tea stall. He reined in his horse, dismounted, and led it by the reins. He said he still had a mission to complete and told Lou Lan to take the men back first.
Lou Lan could not be bothered with him. He led the men away shortly after.
Lian Cheng found a place to tie up his horse, then ran over to the tea stall. He waved away the waiter who came forward and walked straight to a small table. Sitting across from him was already a man—Li Sanshi, who had previously taken twenty days off each month from the Imperial Guard Office.
Li Sanshi gave Lian Cheng a bitter smile. “I thought the adult would not recognize me.”
Lian Cheng noticed that he was wearing mourning clothes and light-colored garments, so he knew that Li Sanshi’s wife had passed away. But he did not bring it up, instead following Li Sanshi’s lead. “Not at all, not at all.”
Li Sanshi looked the young gentleman up and down. He was truly peerlessly handsome and elegant. His eyes were filled with melancholy and envy. “I heard a month ago that you had been promoted to commissioner. You are young and accomplished, sir. I should have brought gifts to congratulate you, but my wife was gravely ill, and I could not spare the time. I hope you will forgive me.”
Lian Cheng said it was no trouble, understanding that the man’s roundabout words were not entirely polite formalities. He had likely lost his wife and needed to find a new job to make a living but was too embarrassed to say so directly. With that thought, Lian Cheng took the initiative. “I know you are skilled in martial arts and disdain wasting your days. I have no place here for you to display your ambitions, but I will not let you go hungry. Are you willing to come?”
Li Sanshi’s eyes lit up—this was exactly his purpose today. He immediately stood up and thanked Lian Cheng profusely.
Lian Cheng told him to help plant sweet potatoes.
“…”
Lian Cheng brought the new man back to Penglai Pavilion. He handed him over to Huqiu, specifically stating that Li Sanshi was hired to work and did not need to handle any miscellaneous chores. Huqiu agreed, and under Li Sanshi’s request, took him to meet all the young maids and young brothers of Penglai Pavilion.
-
Even though Li Sanshi knew that the Lian family was wealthy, what he saw with his own eyes still surpassed his expectations. Not to mention the precious flowers, trees, fish, and birds, even the servants were as dazzling and beautiful as if they were born of gold and jade. When he paid his respects, they were almost all idle—playing chess, embroidering, with some serving tea and water. They were no different from proper young ladies.
Unaccustomed to such splendor and luxury, after paying his respects, he went to the garden to look at the sweet potato field. He had not been watching long before he dug up all the sweet potatoes that had been planted. Huqiu had planted whole sweet potatoes, but that was inefficient. Li Sanshi cut them into pieces and planted the pieces, each of which would produce a cluster of sweet potatoes.
Lian Cheng watched for a while, seeing that the man was meticulous and responsible, so he felt reassured and went to Lanyuan to practice his sword.
Usually, Lian Cheng practiced sword with Qiu Fang in the front courtyard, which was the most spacious. But today, Qiu Fang led him to the rear courtyard. When Lian Cheng asked why, Qiu Fang said there were guests in the front, and it would not be proper for them to fight and clash there.
“Who has come?” Lian Cheng asked curiously.
It was not a secret, so Qiu Fang glanced toward the room and said, “The Princess of Hui.”
Lian Cheng said, “We usually have no dealings with the prince’s mansion. Did she come for Li Wan’s sake?”
Qiu Fang shook her head. “The Princess of Hui has never liked the young heir to associate with you, young master. If it were for the young heir’s sake, she would have sent a letter asking you to stay away from her son. Why would she bother to come in person?”
“Sister, you’re making me lose face,” Lian Cheng said, whining from behind. “So why did she come?”
Qiu Fang slowed down a step to walk alongside Lian Cheng and lowered her voice. “She came for the sake of Sixth Brother.”
"Xiu Sheng?" God, let it be good news!
"Exactly. Didn't the prince's mansion have a fire recently? His Majesty, feeling bad for his elder brother, assigned the Embroidered Uniform Guard to investigate the fire and the Ministry of Works to handle the mansion's restoration. Minister Luo, unwilling to get entangled with Prince Hui, shoved the restoration work onto Sixth Brother," Qiu Fang, almost leaning on Lian Cheng's shoulder, lowered her voice even more. "Unexpectedly, Sixth Brother dug up a large amount of gold, silver, and antiques in the western courtyard where the fire occurred—worth a fortune. They've been carrying them home since before noon, and they're still not done."
"Now, Princess Hui has come to beg Madam to persuade Sixth Brother not to report this to His Majesty. She also promises that Sixth Brother may take whatever he likes from those chests as a gift from the prince's mansion."
Lian Cheng blinked. Carrying them home? He could take whatever he liked!
This is definitely bribery, no doubt about it!
How could Lian Cheng still have the heart to practice sword practice? He stuffed the wooden stick in his hand into Qiu Fang's, said he had important things to do, and dashed out of Orchid Garden in a flash.
Little schemer, don't get greedy just yet. Your big brother's here to beg you.
