Chapter 36.
byChapter 36.
Zhou Erhe's mouth opened, then closed. Finally, he remarked resignedly, "Your priorities truly are unique."
He had been worried, but apparently, his concerns were for naught.
After giving instructions, Zhou Erhe hung up to handle the matter, while Ning Yuyi continued scrolling through the Weibo comments.
[Holy cow, is this the latest gossip I've stumbled upon???]
[Qing'an? Doesn't Fenghua Entertainment have a dormitory near the high-rise residential area in front of Qing'an? Maybe he was just taking a walk with a friend. Isn’t that normal?]
[To the person ahead, let me clarify about Qing'an. Although Qing'an has both high-rise apartments and villas in the rear, the two areas are not connected. You can't stroll from the apartment area into the villa district, so…]
[So Ning Yuyi was brought into the villa area by someone?]
[Oh my God, did my house collapse???]
[There hasn't been any response from Fenghua yet, I'll wait for them to comment.]
[Why hasn't anyone considered that Ning Yuyi might have bought a villa inside? There were instances in the past where people assumed about a newcomer, only to find out they were wealthy and bought it themselves.]
[I know about this. I'm an employee at Fenghua, in charge of their contract signings. Ning Yuyi's records show no family; it seems he came from an orphanage.]
[An orphanage??? That's so sad...]
……
Ning Yuyi was initially cheerfully reading the comments. Even the insults from haters didn't upset him much. But his expression turned somber when the conversation shifted to his orphanage background.
Exiting the comment section and calming his emotions, Ning Yuyi decided to make himself a glass of lemon soda.
After preparing the drink, Ning Yuyi took a sip. The tartness combined with the effervescence filled his entire palate.
Tian Tian, unaware of all that transpired online, lay on a stair spot kissed by the sun, grooming her fur and wagging her tail.
"So sour." Ning Yuyi put down the glass, his teeth almost gritting from the acidity.
The doorbell suddenly rang, and as soon as Ning Yuyi opened the door, he was embraced tightly.
"Ning Ning, are you okay?" Xie Yezhou hugged Ning Yuyi anxiously, his forehead sweaty from running in the heat.
Caught off guard by the embrace, Ning Yuyi struggled in Xie Yezhou's arms, but aside from messing up his hair, it didn't accomplish much.
"Bro, let go. I can barely breathe."
Hearing this, Xie Yezhou quickly released him.
"I'm fine." As soon as Ning Yuyi was freed, he took deep breaths, ensuring he didn't suffocate.
"About the incident on Weibo..."
"I know." Ning Yuyi didn't expect Xie Yezhou to come because of the Weibo matter. "It's not a big deal. We'll just suppress the comments, and after some time, netizens will forget about it."
Ning Yuyi said in confusion, "Bro, you've had such experiences before. It's pretty normal."
Is it really normal?
In fact, it's normal. Which celebrity in the entertainment industry hasn't faced rumors or had some scandal exposed?
Truth and lies, all jumbled together; netizens can't differentiate. Some, after being falsely accused, never bounce back, while others, even when exposed with real scandal, twist it and gain tens of millions of followers.
Xie Yezhou has long gotten used to this. After many years in the entertainment industry, he believes human nature is the cheapest commodity.
Xie Yezhou once again held Ning Yuyi close, gently stroking his hair.
"It will be sorted out soon."
……
Upon exiting the meeting room, Xie Yinan received the news and immediately mobilized the company's PR department to handle the situation.
Ying Jin, who had just taken a few days off, was immediately roped into overtime. Pulling at his hair, he sat in front of his computer formulating strategies, all while being pressured by Zhou Erhe.
After issuing a series of instructions, Xie Yinan hastily drove towards Qing'an, coincidentally running into Xie Lou and Lin Yiyue on the way.
"Ah Zhou said Ning Ning is in a good state right now," Xie Yinan quickly reassured his parents, "Mom, don't worry."
"How can I not be worried?" Lin Yiyue, intending to happily check her youngest son's social media fan page this morning, was shocked to see a barrage of negative news about him as soon as she logged onto Weibo. "Have you found out who leaked the info?"
"We're in talks with Qing'an." Qing'an is a high-end villa community known for its privacy. Consequently, accessing its security footage is challenging. "They're reluctant to share... Wait a moment."
While Xie Yinan was still explaining to his parents, his phone suddenly received a file. "The surveillance footage is here."
The sender wasn't the assistant dispatched to handle the matter, but Fan Zhongchuan.
"I forgot, Qing'an was built with investments from the Fan Group," Xie Lou then remembered.
The footage Fan Zhongchuan sent to Xie Yinan were clips from three different locations, showing the same people in different scenarios.
The first clip showed the entrance of the housing complex. Yu Sihan was in the back seat of a car with a slightly overweight middle-aged man, with her hands resting in the man's lap. They probably assumed they were safe from paparazzi inside the complex, hence the audacity to leave the car windows down.
The second clip was at the entrance of a villa. The driver stayed in the car while Yu Sihan, wearing only a blazer on her upper body, was carried out.
In the third clip, Yu Sihan left the villa alone, seemed to notice something, and then took out her phone to snap a few pictures.
The three clips provided Xie Yinan with a clear picture of what had transpired.
Thinking about the investigation report on Ning Yuyi's time at the orphanage, Xie Yinan's face darkened, nearly crushing his phone in anger.
"Who is it?" Seeing the look on his eldest son's face, Xie Lou knew the culprit had been identified.
"Yu Sihan," Xie Yinan said to his father, while simultaneously sending directives to his assistant via his phone.
——Edit this video and release it at the appropriate time.
Ning Yuyi initially thought he only had to appease his second brother, but soon realized Xie Yinan and Lin Yiyue had also arrived.
Surrounded by them, Ning Yuyi's innocent eyes sought out the only person sitting on the sofa, Xie Yezhou, hoping for rescue.
However, the one to divert everyone's attention from Ning Yuyi wasn't Xie Yezhou, but Fan Zhongchuan who entered the room.
"Mmm, mmm," Ning Yuyi urgently signaled Fan Zhongchuan with his eyes.
"Uncle Xie," Fan Zhongchuan calmly greeted Xie Lou.
Xie Lou nodded in acknowledgment, and Ning Yuyi seized the opportunity to slip away.
Having finally gained a moment's respite, Ning Yuyi made an excuse to head to the kitchen. He planned to prepare some fruit juice for everyone, fetching fruits and a blender.
Lin Yiyue followed him in and helped wash the fruits.
Watching her youngest son's adept movements, Lin Yiyue felt a twinge of sadness.
Her little boy, who should've grown up carefree under her and Xie Lou's protection, might have become a beloved piano prodigy, or perhaps a business genius like his older brother, or even a young master traveling leisurely all year round.
But he shouldn't be like this, so independent and skilled at cooking. This wasn't the life meant for him.
Sensing Lin Yiyue's melancholic mood, Ning Yuyi smiled, "I really enjoy cooking. Making my own meals gives me a lot of joy."
He lifted his head, offering a slice of freshly-cut watermelon to Lin Yiyue's lips.
His crescent-moon eyes, full of mirth, instantly brightened Lin Yiyue's spirits.
……
In the living room, Xie Lou and Xie Yinan sat on the sofa, receiving feedback from the company and issuing continuous orders.
Alone, Fan Zhongchuan went upstairs, leaning against the railing of the second-floor balcony while smoking.
His gaze settled on an artificial stream in front of the villa. The cigarette, held between his middle and ring fingers, grew shorter but didn't make its way back to his mouth.
"Got another cigarette?" Xie Yezhou approached, stopping about a meter away from Fan Zhongchuan.
Fan Zhongchuan shifted his gaze, pulling out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and tossing it over.
Xie Yezhou caught the pack, nonchalantly taking out a cigarette, lighting it, and placing it between his lips.
The smoke from his mouth obscured his expression.
"Did you know my brother sought therapy?" Xie Yezhou suddenly spoke.
Hearing this, Fan Zhongchuan's usually impassive face showed a hint of emotion as he turned to look at him.
"On the surface, Ning Yuyi seems unaffected by our sudden reconnection," Xie Yezhou said, looking at a wilting rose in the small garden. "But he constantly apologizes subconsciously. After some investigation, my brother and I found out that he was socially isolated in school as a child."
A chill passed over Fan Zhongchuan's face.
"Were those responsible dealt with?"
"Not yet," Xie Yezhou shook his head. "We're unsure of Ning Yuyi's stance on it."
"So he feels deeply insecure?" Fan Zhongchuan had noticed some oddities in Ning Yuyi's interactions, whether with friends or family.
"Yes." Xie Yezhou took a drag from his cigarette, closing his eyes, pain evident on his face.
"I understand," Fan Zhongchuan said, snuffing out his cigarette and tossing it in the trash.
After Fan Zhongchuan left, Xie Yezhou remained on the rooftop for a long time.
He figured his father must also know about the orphanage situation, but judging by his mother's demeanor, she was still in the dark.
He pulled out his phone, scrolling to a zip file sent to him by Xie Yinan a few days ago.
Inside were detailed records from Ning Yuyi's school years, about how he was ostracized by his classmates, how he was exploited by Yu Sihan at the orphanage, and how he was betrayed by someone he believed to be his best friend...
……
Ning Yuyi carried the freshly-squeezed fruit juices into the living room, just in time to see Fan Zhongchuan coming down the stairs.
"You went upstairs?" Ning Yuyi handed him a glass of orange juice. "Where's my second brother?"
Standing in front of Ning Yuyi, memories of what Xie Yezhou had said flooded Fan Zhongchuan's mind, filling him with an intense urge to hold Ning Yuyi. However, glancing at Xie Lou and Lin Yiyue seated in the living room, he suppressed his emotions. "He's up there."
Taking a step closer, Fan Zhongchuan softly said, "He's on the rooftop."
"I'll go upstairs to find him," Ning Yuyi decided, heading for the stairs. Yet, Fan Zhongchuan caught him around the waist, stopping him.
"He'll be down shortly," Fan Zhongchuan said as he firmly wrapped his arms around Ning Yuyi's waist, pulling him away from the stairs.
Caught off guard by the sudden embrace, by the time Ning Yuyi realized what had happened, he was already at the base of the stairs, eyes wide in astonishment.
I've... actually... been... carried down like this!
Ning Yuyi stood still, blinking as if under a spell.
Fan Zhongchuan was right. In no time, Xie Yiezhou came downstairs, sipping a juice freshly squeezed by his younger brother.
Due to the surveillance video released by Xie Yinan, social media exploded once again.
Yu Sihan had deployed internet trolls, determined to watch Ning Yuyi fall from grace.
Viewing the overwhelmingly one-sided comments online, he finally felt content, humming a tune as he headed to the bathroom to cleanse himself.
After showering, he poured himself a glass of red wine, leaning against the window, sipping it leisurely, picturing Ning Yuyi's distressed state.
Perhaps, curled up somewhere crying.
Draining his glass, Yu Sihan returned to his room to sleep.
By the time he was awakened the next day, the online incident had spiraled out of control.
Wang Yinkou made multiple calls, eventually driving to Yu Sihan's place, rousing him with a torrent of scolding.
Wang Yinkou flung her purse at him, "Yu Sihan, do you have any idea how things have blown up online?"
Jolted awake, Yu Sihan snapped, "Have you lost your mind?"
"I think you're the one who's lost it!" Wang Yinkou exclaimed, bending over to pick up her bag, pulling out her phone to show him. "What's the deal with this video?"
Taking a look, Yu Sihan's face drained of color.
"How could this happen?" he muttered, "It's impossible. Who posted this? Who?"
"Who else could it be? This account belongs to Fenghua Entertainment," Wang Yinkou replied, strands of her usually neat hair sticking to her lips after her outburst. "How many times have I told you? If you must see people, don't leave evidence. Yet, you messed around with someone in a car and even opened the windows! Do you think you're too famous and need cooling down?"
Holding her head, Wang Yinkou paced back and forth, "Binghuo PR can't handle it anymore. The video is everywhere online, not just on social media. We can't even delete it fast enough."
She suddenly halted, pivoting to face Yu Sihan, articulating each word deliberately, "Yu Sihan, your career is over."
A profound weakness overcame Yu Sihan, his voice breaking with emotion, "I'm sorry, sis. I messed up. What should I do? I... I don't want to..."
"Is it about what you want now?" Wang Yinkou tilted her chin up to regard him, though sorrow lingered in her gaze. "Not just you, even I've been ridiculed. Binghuo told me to get lost. I've been blacklisted in the talent manager community now."
"Yu Sihan, you really are an idiot," Wang Yinkou remarked, turning on her heel and departing.
Yu Sihan leapt out of bed, hands trembling as he booted up his computer. Opening up the social media platform Weibo, a glance at the trending topics made his vision blur.
Still holding onto a shred of hope, he clicked into the super-topic, praying some loyal fans might still support him.
But the content within crushed his last pillar of hope.
["Damn, I've been a fan for years, and it turns out I was idolizing a playboy?!"]
["Speechless, honestly no words. After watching that video, I feel like my eyes are tainted. Seems like all my money was spent on crap."]
["I didn’t even dare to click on it. The thumbnail alone is nauseating enough. Seriously, can that fat, ugly middle-aged man actually bring him Hollywood connections?"]
["Erm, I was at home when I opened the video. My parents were sitting next to me and were equally shocked. I didn't dare admit he's the celebrity I fan over, just joked that he's some random entertainer."]
["Just a passerby here, just dropping by, a massive unfollowing event. At last, there's no defending him."]
["Defend what? Can anyone claim the video was doctored or something?"]
["Oh my God, I'd pay a lot to have eyes that never saw that video. Holy moly, Yu Sihan seemed to be quite into it."]
["Could the person above please not go into details? My dinner is about to come back up. Just thinking about the fact that I was fanning over someone like that makes me nauseous."]
……
With a pale face, Yu Sihan shakily exited the super-topic.
It's over. Everything's over.
Ning Yuyi was the last to learn about Yu Sihan's video. Xie Yinan didn't show it to him but briefed him on the overall outcome.
"But for now, it's only temporarily suppressed your issues. To truly resolve this, you'll need to clarify things," Xie Yinan said, gently stroking his head.
"But..." Ning Yuyi murmured, his head bowed as he fidgeted with his hands on his lap.
Ning Yuyi knew that clearing his name would be simple, yet he was consumed by fear.
He feared being abandoned again, just like his childhood friend had done.
They had played together so happily, and he had treated him so well, with the friend even proclaiming Ning Yuyi as his best buddy.
So why, in the end, did he join others in mocking Ning Yuyi?
Memories flooded back to Ning Yuyi of that rainy day when he was locked in the bathroom after school.
That person, whom he had considered his closest friend, stood just beyond the door, laughing with others about the best way to taunt Ning Yuyi and how to mock him to cause the most pain.
"Ning Ning," Fan Zhongchuan approached from behind, "There's another way."
"What is it?" Xie Yinan inquired.
Xie Yiezhou had a realization, "Indeed, it's a method. But it might alienate some fans."
Xie Yinan, confused by their cryptic exchange, looked to Xie Yiezhou, hoping for an explanation.
"Didn't Fan Zhongchuan become the first to follow Ning Ning on Weibo?" Xie Yiezhou clarified, "This time, Fan Zhongchuan can step forward and state he had invited Ning Yuyi to his home as a guest."
"We can just attach photos of both of us and make it look like a group gathering."
"Indeed, that's a solution," Xie Yinan said, rubbing his chin. "It might weed out some of Ningning's flaky fans and solidify the loyal ones."
"Then it's settled," Xie Yezhou, feeling sympathetic towards Ningning, said. "Bro, you should get on it. Later, we can take Ningning out for a late-night snack."
Ningning had looked up ever since Fan Zhongchuan began speaking, and once Xie Yezhou laid out the complete plan, he turned to look at Fan Zhongchuan.
Fan Zhongchuan tenderly stroked the back of his neck, trying to soothe him.
As the clock neared 2 a.m., no one felt the weight of fatigue. Except for Xie Lou and Lin Yiyue, who had retreated for rest, everyone else lingered in the living room.
Xie Yinan was swift in his actions. He pulled up surveillance footage of his and Xie Yezhou's visit to Qing'an and selected a few photos, sending them to the PR team for handling.
Ying Jin was quick on his feet. In no time, the narrative about Ningning online began to change.
[Honestly, he does seem like a well-behaved kid.]
[Too much drama today; I feel like I'm darting through a melon patch.]
[Where do you see a kid? Isn't Ningning 22? He looks mature enough, don't over-filter his age, maybe?]
[What shook me the most: The head honcho, Fan, dined with my husband! The dimension wall has broken!]
[By "husband," do you mean Xie Yezhou or Xie Yinan? Both the Fan and Xie conglomerates have collaborated often in recent years. It's normal for them to dine together. But Ningning's presence was unexpected. Wasn't he from an orphanage?]
[I found it weird. Was quite fond of him, not anymore.]
[Really? A bit of liking qualifies as fandom now? Leaving because of this feels weird.]
……
Seeing the narrative finally neutralize, Xie Yezhou sighed in relief.
"Hungry?" Xie Yezhou asked Ningning while holding his phone.
Ningning nodded vigorously.
Fan Zhongchuan, for some reason, was reminded of a chick pecking grain.
The four of them drove out for a late-night snack, only returning when dawn began to break.
Ningning, seated beside Fan Zhongchuan in the car, yawned, a tear forming at the corner of his eye.
"Tired?" Fan Zhongchuan reclined the co-passenger seat. "Take a nap."
"Hmm, I'll chat with you," Ningning yawned again, his eyelids heavy. Lowering the car window to stay awake, he said, "You've been up all night too. I'll keep you company."
Seeing Ningning so exhausted but still trying to stay awake for him, Fan Zhongchuan chuckled, his cold demeanor melting, "Sweetheart, I'm fine. Get some sleep."
"Really?" Ningning's voice now had a drowsy nasal quality.
"Hmm, truly."
Yet Ning Yuyi, even when utterly exhausted, continued to chat inconsistently with Fan Zhongchuan, refusing to sleep.
Upon returning home, Ning Yuyi promptly sprawled on the couch, adamantly staying put.
"No, I want to sleep right here." Ning Yuyi said, eyes closed, dodging Fan Zhongchuan's arm.
Fan Zhongchuan knelt on the carpet, gazing down at the drifting-off Ning Yuyi, a look of resignation on his face.
Eventually, he leaned down, gave Ning Yuyi's nose a gentle kiss, and then carried him upstairs.
By the time Ning Yuyi awoke, evening had settled.
He had slept deeply, with the room painted in a warm, orange hue from the setting sun.
Ning Yuyi, wearing his slippers, drew back the curtains to bathe the room in even more of that orange glow.
Leaning against the window, soaking up the sunlight, his stomach, having gone without food all day, finally grumbled.
So hungry.
As Ning Yuyi descended the stairs, it belatedly dawned on him that he'd seemingly passed out on the couch the night before.
So... was it Fan Zhongchuan who had carried him upstairs to bed?
Ning Yuyi strained to recall what had transpired after he fell asleep. What had happened?
Failing to remember, Ning Yuyi decided to set that aside for now and headed to the kitchen to satiate his hunger.
The housemaid, having been informed by the Xie brothers, had prepared meals since the afternoon. She warmed it up and placed it on the dining table as soon as Ning Yuyi showed up.
After a satisfying meal, Ning Yuyi finally took some time to check online for updates.
The gossip surrounding Yu Sihan's video still flooded Weibo, though the video had been removed from the entire network due to inappropriate content.
Yu Sihan was now under overwhelming criticism. Celebrities who previously had decent public relations with him now openly claimed they weren't close.
Even the official Weibo of Binghuo Entertainment declared that Yu Sihan had breached his contract and they would pursue legal action against him, severing any ties and pushing him deeper into controversy.
Tapping his phone screen, Ning Yuyi realized he felt absolutely indifferent.
He then checked his fandom's topic, and the posts there seemed normal, with fans returning to their usual adoring mode.
Pondering for a moment, Ning Yuyi messaged Zhou Erhe, asking if he should host a live stream to reassure his fans.
Zhou Erhe replied, "Sure, absolutely! Do you need my assistance?"
Ning Yuyi: "No need. I'll stream from the cat room, just chat with the fans."
Zhou Erhe: "Alright, which streaming platform will you be using?"
Ning Yuyi: "Shuangmu Live, Fan's platform. Might as well ask him for some perks, hehe."
Zhou Erhe: "Got it. Remember to post a Weibo announcement when you start streaming."
Ning Yuyi: "Sure."
Without delay, Ning Yuyi downloaded Shuangmu Live, completed all the necessary verifications, initiated the live stream, and shared the link on Weibo.
Just off work, Huang Yumeng typically logged into her fan account. She intended to share some newly found cute pictures of her "little darling" with other fans. To her surprise, the main topic of discussion was something else entirely.
At a quick glance, she realized Ning Yuyi was streaming and promptly downloaded Shuangmu Live.
As soon as it was installed, she eagerly registered a new account and searched for Ning Yuyi's live room.
Upon entering the stream, Huang Yumeng faced a few seconds of black screen before the video finally loaded.
Judging by the quality, it seemed to be a mobile stream. The camera was focused on two little kittens.
Suddenly, a pleasant voice filled her ears.
"Wait a moment, let me adjust the settings."
The screen was flooded with comments. Annoyed by the barrage, Huang Yumeng chose to hide most of them, leaving only the colorful premium comments visible.
The camera angle shifted abruptly, and a familiar face graced the screen.
"Good evening, everyone." Holding a selfie stick, Ning Yuyi greeted, "Have you all had dinner yet?"
[Already ate!]
[Just got off work and tuned in! Ordered takeout so I can eat while watching you~]
[Haven't yet, drowning in overtime work here.]
"Some of you haven't had dinner?" Spotting the option to send virtual gifts, Ning Yuyi quickly removed his phone from the selfie stick and began tapping.
Then, a flurry of virtual gifts appeared on the screen.
Huang Yumeng hesitated for a moment. By the time she clicked on them, they were all claimed.
[Ah! You guys are so fast!]
[I swear, it was just a second's delay, and they're all gone.]
[Is there a streaming mission today?]
"Is there a streaming mission today?" Ning Yuyi read out the comment before answering, "Nope, just here to chat with you all."
"Do you guys want to chat, or do you want to see the kitten?"
[I want to see you!]
[Oh, I want to see both QAQ]
[Kids choose. Adults, like me, want it all.]
"But you can only choose one," Ning Yuyi, amused by the barrage of comments, marveled at how contemporary netizens were full of memes and jests.
Without a selfie stick, Ning Yuyi simply held the phone, aiming it casually at himself.
From Huang Yumeng's perspective, it was taken from a low angle, shooting upwards.
Often referred to as the unflattering angle.
Most frustratingly, due to his good looks, even this angle didn't diminish Ning Yuyi's handsomeness.
Pondering for a moment, Ning Yuyi decided to first show them the cat.
"Both kittens are awake right now, but if you wait a bit, they'll probably be asleep," Ning Yuyi remarked. At just over a month old, the kittens were quite the sleepers.
Ning Yuyi retrieved a cat teaser from the wall, enticing the two kittens to prance around.
Seeing someone in the comments asking about the kittens' names, Ning Yuyi sat cross-legged on the carpet, cradling the tabby and the orange kitten in his lap. "They're called Li Li and Ju Ju. You can probably guess which name belongs to which kitten."
[Hahaha, Ning really isn't creative with names, huh?]
[Aww, I want to pet them too! So jealous!]
[Both kittens are domestic shorthairs!]
[What's wrong with domestic shorthairs? We have one at home too.]
[No, I mean, it's rare to see domestic shorthair kittens being sold, especially this young. And if I recall correctly, the kittens weren't even a month old when Ning posted on Weibo.]
[So, did Ning rescue these kittens?]
Oblivious to the impending argument in the comments, Ning Yuyi was engrossed in pampering the two kittens.
At only a month and a half old, their fur was still their soft birth coat, incredibly soothing to the touch.
By the time he checked the comments, there were nearly a thousand guesses about the origins of the kittens.
"I suppose you could say I rescued them."
Seizing the opportunity, Ning Yuyi promoted the upcoming variety show, "Old Friends," saying, "I found them while filming the show. The director even got it on tape. You can watch the episode when it airs next month. You should see them there."
[Old Friends? My favorite dinner-time show!!!]
[Mine too! I always order takeout and watch it while eating.]
[But two of the regulars who can cook have left this year. Who's left that can actually cook?]
Intrigued by the comment, Ning Yuyi teased, "This season will be even more mouth-watering. Make sure you stock up on snacks!"
After finishing her meal, Tian Tian, with her elegant feline grace, strolled over, scooping up the two kittens and placing them in the corner.
Then, without a hint of shame, she sprawled right onto Ning Yuyi's lap!
[Wow, I thought it was the motherly instinct of the cat refusing to be touched by its kitten, but it turned out to be jealousy.]
[I'm dying of laughter; I laughed so loud the security guard at my apartment entrance probably heard it.]
[Good thing I recorded the screen; I'll post it in the super-topic later.]
All the bullet comments are laughing out loud, and even Ning Yuyi is laughing so hard that her shoulders are shaking. She pats and rubs the sweet little head.
……
After that scene, Ning Yuyi trended once again.
To be precise, it was the cute pet that became the talk of the town.
