Chapter 47: If We Have Another, You’re Carrying It

Yun Zi'an hadn't finished laughing when Rong Xiao's towering figure loomed over him, shadow engulfing him completely. Rong Xiao, gritting his teeth, pinned him down, biting his lips fiercely, their sounds drowned in a tumult of kisses.

Rong Xiao seemed infuriated, his biting and tearing reminiscent of a ravenous wolf or an unrelenting storm, leaving Yun Zi'an no room to breathe. Their intertwined tongues sparked a painful ecstasy, his long eyelashes now wet, shimmering with moisture.

“Mmm…” Yun Zi'an's waist was clasped tightly by Rong Xiao’s iron grip, so strong it felt as though his bones might break. He pushed feebly, pleading, “Stop...it hurts…”

But Rong Xiao didn’t relent as usual; instead, he bit down hard on Yun Zi'an's pale neck, his cheeks tensing with effort. Furious that Yun Zi'an had joked about life and death, his heart was filled more with fear and pain than anger.

“It hurts…” Blood appeared on Yun Zi'an's neck, and even as he cried in pain, Rong Xiao didn’t stop. Frustrated, Yun Zi'an lashed out with a kick to Rong Xiao's abdomen, “Get off me…”

The kick felt like hitting a steel plate, and Yun Zi'an’s ankle twisted painfully in the process, anger flaring up in him, “You damn…”

“Admit your mistake,” Rong Xiao demanded, looking at him with bloodshot eyes, serious and unsmiling, “Apologize.”

“Mistake my ass!” Yun Zi'an harshly wiped his lips, shocked to see blood on his hand, “I was just joking, you…”

Unexpectedly, Rong Xiao stood up, his imposing height overwhelming. He stared intently at Yun Zi'an, then began unbuckling his belt, pulling it out with a clang, folding it in his hands, “Admit your mistake, and never do this again.”

Yun Zi'an eyed Rong Xiao’s tensed, vein-lined arms, feeling an ominous premonition, but his rebellious nature wouldn't easily submit, smirking coldly, “What, planning to abuse me now?”

Rong Xiao licked his canine tooth, a gesture that sharpened his jawline. He chuckled, “So brave, just don’t beg me later.”

Chills ran down Yun Zi'an's spine as if a blade rested against it. He instinctively tried to stand, holding onto the bed rail, but realized too late that it was a mistake.

Rong Xiao yanked off the tie hanging on the clothes rack, grabbed Yun Zian's wrists, and forcefully bound his hands above his head to the bed railing, with a strength that made resistance futile.

Yun Zian struggled fiercely, causing the metal bed frame to make a loud noise, but his wrists remained immobile. Shocked by such treatment, his pupils dilated with rage as he roared, “Rong Xiao! You dare!”

Rong Xiao’s eyes darkened as he observed Yun Zian, disheveled and bound, like admiring a beautiful landscape. Lifting his chin with a belt, he murmured into his ear, “Try and see if I dare.”

Yun Zi'an's pupils dilated like an earthquake, "You... mmm—!"

He had no chance to speak, as Rong Xiao's steaming, rigid lower half pressed against his lips. The belt in his hand gently brushed aside stray hair, revealing Yun Zi'an's red, soft ear, his voice deep and husky like a piano's bass chords, irresistibly sexy, "Aren't we aiming for a second child?"

"If you're going to give birth, give birth. If you can't, then don't fucking stop."

————Hundreds of crabs scuttled over, their pincers clacking————

The jeep jostled along the cracked and parched riverbed, kicking up dust and sand. Endless Gobi wilderness stretched on both sides, barren and lifeless. The scorching heat was accompanied by hot winds devoid of moisture and piercing sunlight, leaving one to wonder when the next rain would grace this land.

Yun Zi'an wore sunglasses, almost expressionless as he gazed out of the window. The bright red mark at the corner of his mouth was strikingly evident, even slightly swollen, making it apparent to anyone with a bit of experience what had happened.

Rong Xiao sat in the driver's seat, one hand on the steering wheel, the other resting on the window edge. His shirt was only half-rolled up, revealing his sturdy, wheat-colored forearms under the sunlight. There had been little interaction between the two, and a deathly silence filled the cabin.

Amidst the silence, Rong Xiao grabbed a bottle of mineral water from the car's storage, unscrewed the cap, and tapped Yun Zi'an's arm with it, offering, "Here."

Unexpectedly, Yun Zi'an rejected his kindness outright, slapping the water bottle away, "Get lost."

Without a word, Rong Xiao silently picked up the water bottle, took a big gulp, then suddenly leaned over to pin Yun Zi'an against the seat. He clamped Yun's chin with his hand and forcefully fed him the water.

Yun Zi'an didn't expect Rong Xiao's move to be so sudden and had no time to dodge. His pupils dilated as he was forced to swallow most of the water, then he began coughing violently, holding his throat, “Cough cough…”

Rong Xiao tossed the mineral water back into Yun Zi'an's lap and chuckled, “Your lips are all chapped, yet you're still being stubborn?”

Barely catching his breath, Yun Zi'an's next reaction was to raise his fist, “You son of a—”

Rong Xiao effortlessly blocked Yun Zi'an’s punch, guided solely by the air current it created, not even disturbing his driving, “Either drink it yourself quietly, or I'll feed you.”

“We’re getting a divorce once we’re back,” Yun Zi'an pointed at Rong Xiao's nose, visibly infuriated, “Whoever refuses is a coward.”

Rong Xiao remained unfazed, knowing the marriage certificate was securely sewn into his pants seam. Yun Zi'an couldn’t find it even if he turned everything upside down. Not even death would separate them.

As the jeep pulled into the filming camp, Yun Zi'an hurriedly pushed open the door and jumped out, not even sparing Rong Xiao a glance.

“Ancestor!” Ying Xiaofeng was the first to spot Yun Zi'an, tears streaming down his face, desperately rushing towards him, “Where have you been all these days? My ancestor!”

Despite missing him, Yun Zi'an recoiled from Ying Xiaofeng's overly emotional embrace, “Don’t smear your tears and snot on me…”

“Zi'an!” Zong Ziren, overwhelmed with emotions, also hugged him tightly, “So glad you’re back safe!”

Tossed around like a talisman, Yun Zi'an glanced outside the crowd, catching Lee avoiding eye contact and then busying himself with his camera.

“Alright, everyone back off! Let Zi'an rest a bit!” Zong Ziren finally intervened, seeing his lead actor overwhelmed, “We need to resume filming this afternoon!”

Ying Xiaofeng pulled Yun Zi'an aside, eager to ask countless questions, “Ancestor, why were you delayed there for so long? The director said you encountered a riot and couldn’t return, but the photographer came back, so you guys…”

As they lifted the tent flap, Ying Xiaofeng’s voice turned into a scream, pointing at a large spider with red spots on the table, “Spider—!”

Yun Zi'an sighed deeply, holding his forehead, and went forward to slap the spider dead, only to get pricked by its coarse hair, causing him to hiss in pain.

Ying Xiaofeng grabbed his hand, noticing the bead of blood, “Your hand…”

“It's nothing.” Yun Zi'an waved it off. For someone who had seen death, such a minor wound was trivial, “I'll take a nap. There's filming this afternoon, right? Wake me up then.”

“Okay…” Ying Xiaofeng, always a bit timid around him, remembered something before leaving, “This afternoon’s scene involves driving. Usually, a stunt double would do it, but we don't have one. Should I talk to the director…?”

Yun Zi'an, already lying on the bed with his eyes closed, responded, “What for? I’ll do it myself.”

At 5 PM, the sun hung at the edge of the mountains, casting a fiery glow over the boundless Gobi Desert, imbuing the setting with a solemn, desolate beauty.

Yun Zi'an, in crisp camouflage attire and wearing tactical gloves, adjusted his earpiece while listening to Zong Ziren’s instructions.

Zong Ziren explained thoroughly, “We'll start with a long shot to get you into the groove. Don’t worry about the camera position; the drone is manually controlled. The crew will adjust it. Just focus on getting the feel of the drive…”

“Got it,” Yun Zi'an acknowledged, suddenly feeling a momentary dizziness as he raised his head, possibly due to the glaring sun.

Eager to wrap up the day’s shoot due to his discomfort, he asked, “Can we start now?”

Zong Ziren stepped back, confirmed with the crew, then picked up the walkie-talkie, “All departments, attention—!”

The next second, the engine of the massive jeep roared to life under Yun Zi'an's control, charging forward like a beast unleashed.

Zong Ziren, caught off guard by the sudden movement and showered in dust, turned to Ying Xiaofeng in shock, “Has he always been this wild?”

Ying Xiaofeng, hesitant to tell the truth, stuttered silently, sweat beading on his forehead.

    You have no idea…

He's not just wild, but also audacious.

After the jeep raced for several kilometers, Yun Zi'an began to sense something amiss. Although speeding could spike adrenaline, his rapid breathing and excessive sweating soaking through his camouflage uniform were abnormal.

In just a few seconds, the road ahead blurred, his head felt as heavy as lead, and his neck could hardly support its weight. His head thudded against the steering wheel, arms limply hanging down. Before slipping into a convulsive unconsciousness, the image of a spider with terrifying red spots flashed through Yun Zi'an's mind…

The jeep's speedometer needle instantly hit the top, and the vehicle zoomed forward at an unprecedented speed.

Ahead in the Gobi, a massive red rock formation, three hundred meters tall and stretching at least three kilometers, loomed.

    “”
