Huo Liangzhou adjusted his collar and pulled down his rolled-up sleeves before knocking on the door.

“Momo, open up. I’m back,” Huo Liangzhou said with a soft cough.

Inside the courtyard, Qi Mo felt a mix of hesitation and anticipation.

It was Huo Liangzhou. His brother-in-law had promised to send him, but it had only been a few days—Huo Liangzhou had come so quickly.

Qi Mo reached out and opened the courtyard gate.

Huo Liangzhou looked at the slender young man before him, his cheeks flushed, still as adorable as ever, making his pulse race.

“Did you miss me?” he asked.

“I’ll shower and join you later,” Huo Liangzhou said.

Qi Mo nodded happily and ran off to grab a bucket, basin, towel, and slippers, then handed them to the tall man before retreating quickly, his face flushed.

In the flickering light of the hurricane lantern, Huo Liangzhou’s towering figure slowly unbuttoned his shirt—one button at a time. This man was seducing him.

But Qi Mo had no proof.
