    Chapter 62

"This isn't a good spot. I'll lure him outside later; you protect Mr. Yan," Xie Yunshen leaned in and whispered.

Yi Wuyi said, "No, I'll lure him; you protect Mr. Yan."

"The question is, can you even lure him?"

The chaebol heir hated no one more than Xie Yunshen.

    "..."

Just then, a staff member pushing a security cart for auction jewelry happened to block his path.

The chaebol heir paused for a moment, then, as if in a sudden manic rage, shoved the staff member aside violently.

The jewelry safe's alarm went off frantically.

Someone shouted, and security guards on alert nearby rushed over, pinning down the heir's shoulders. Pinned, unable to stand upright, the chaebol heir could only lift his head, yelling like a madman at Xie Yunshen: "Xie! Yun! Shen!! I want you dead!!"

    This caused no small commotion.

Xie Yunshen tutted, watching the heir's powerless, furious madness with pity, shaking his head.

This incident was practically pushing the chaebol heir over the edge.

The heir's bodyguards were outside; no one could protect him here.

Moreover, this wasn't Country B of the chaebol, nor was it a cruise ship on the high seas. This was Country A, not a place where he could just go berserk as he pleased.

Finally, when his assistant and bodyguards outside heard the noise and came in to explain, the heir was got out of trouble.

However, when the chaebol heir looked again, Xie Yunshen and Yi Wuyi, along with Yan Shiqi, were gone.

"Bastards!" He slapped the assistant beside him across the face, simultaneously kicking the person to the ground.

The assistant hurriedly scrambled up from the floor, head bowed, tasting blood in his mouth: "I'm sorry."

"This must be the young Master Cui from the Cui chaebol family, right?" A refined voice caught the heir's attention.

He turned to see a tall, slender man standing behind him, scholarly and polite, with a gentle, cold gleam behind his glasses.

"Hello, I am Shangguan Hong, General Manager of Top Star Group."

In the elevator descending to the garage.

Yan Shiqi looked at the two men standing behind him in the elevator mirror.

Xie Yunshen appeared calm and composed, looking at Yan Shiqi's serious and perplexed expression, he slightly lowered his head.

Just moments ago at the charity event, Mr. Yan had practically been half-embraced, half-pushed out by him.

But seeing the usually strategic and composed person suddenly look utterly bewildered created a stark contrast that felt weirdly satisfying.

Yi Wuyi said, "Did we make Mr. Yan look too disheveled like this?"

Xie Yunshen feigned seriousness: "We're cutting our losses. Should we have waited to get bitten by that guy and then need a rabies shot?"

"What did you two do? To be chased like a mad dog." Yan Shiqi glanced at Xie Yunshen.

Xie Yunshen and Yi Wuyi exchanged a look again behind him, neither speaking.

"Old Wu, you tell me," Yan Shiqi said.

Xie Yunshen closed his eyes. It's over.

If Old Wu tells it, he'll definitely say with a straight face: "It was A Xie. On the cruise ship, he pulled that heir's pants down."

"It was A Xie. On the cruise ship, he pulled that heir's pants down."

Exactly as predicted, word for word.

    Yan Shiqi's face was darkening.

Xie Yunshen jumped in quickly: "It wasn't entirely like that, Mr. Yan. That day on the cruise ship, after the shooting started, his bodyguards all ran off. He himself, covered in casts, was still shouting that he must kill me and Old Wu, and that he'd drag the Yan family into the abyss! Make the Yan family go bankrupt."

He peeked out from behind, tilting his head to look at Yan Shiqi's profile: "Don't you think he was being too arrogant? So I just took off his outer pants to help him sober up a bit."

Because the elevator was narrow, they were close. Xie Yunshen's nose almost brushed against the hair at Yan Shiqi's temple.

He could even see the dense, fine distribution of Yan Shiqi's upper eyelashes growing from the eyelid, like pencil strokes.

Xie Yunshen's eyes moved slightly: "Mr. Yan, your eyelashes are so thick."

The elevator doors opened. Yan Shiqi glanced at him: "Not like spider legs anymore?"

    Xie Yunshen: "..."

    They walked to the garage.

"Xie! Yun! Shen!!!" A terrifying roar came from behind, echoing through the entire parking garage.

Xie Yunshen halted. He didn't need to look back to know it was the chaebol heir; that rooster-like voice was truly one of a kind.

The chaebol heir emerged from around the corner, eyes bloodshot, the line of his cheekbones still looking off, likely due to incomplete recovery from facial bone fractures.

Upon seeing Xie Yunshen's face, his whole body shuddered as if hit by a cold wind, teeth chattering as he squeezed out the words: "Xie! Yun! Shen!!!"

Even Xie Yunshen was startled by this scene, looking at Yi Wuyi: "Old Wu, has this guy really gone insane?"

    Yi Wuyi: "Possibly."

Hearing this, the chaebol heir closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and let out a laugh that seemed to come from nerves out of control from extreme rage: "Hahahaha, you're dead."

Two men stepped out from behind him.

The expressions of Xie Yunshen and Yi Wuyi changed simultaneously.

The two men appearing behind him were different from the bodyguards last time.

The iconic shaved heads of monks from Country T, monk's robes draped diagonally over their shoulders, eyes cold and fierce with authority, chests slightly drawn in, abdomens taut, bronzed skin tightly stretched over facial bones.

The two bowed in greeting. One pressed his palms together; the other held his thumb and middle finger together.

"These two were specially invited by my father on his private jet from Country T. So far, no one has survived under their hands."

The two monks strode towards them with light, agile steps.

Xie Yunshen snorted contemptuously and was about to step forward when Yi Wuyi moved ahead first, blocking the two monks: "I'll handle this. You get Mr. Yan out of here."

Xie Yunshen froze for a second, then turned and led Yan Shiqi away.

The driver was waiting behind the wheel.

Xie Yunshen helped Yan Shiqi into the car. Yan Shiqi looked at him and said, "Go help Old Five."

Xie Yunshen's expression turned serious. "I'll be right back."

Yan Shiqi fished something out from the door pocket and handed it to him. "Don't hold back. Staying alive is what matters most."

He could also tell those two Arhats were extraordinary. Yi Wuyi might not be able to handle them alone.

Xie Yunshen glanced at the item in his hand and pushed it back. "I know, but it's fine. It'll be over soon."

Using this would change the nature of the event. Besides, this thing should be saved for Mr. Yan.

Xie Yunshen hurried back to find Yi Wuyi already forced to the elevator entrance by the two Arhats.

They moved in perfect sync—left and right, high and low, feinting and striking, rigid and flexible. With arms like bronze and bodies tough as steel, every move was fierce and lethal.

Yi Wuyi was heavily restricted, unable to fight at full strength. To his surprise, Lin Jin was there too, lending a hand.

He must have stepped out of the elevator just as Yi Wuyi was tangled up with the Arhats and jumped in to help.

Unfortunately, even with him and Yi Wuyi together against the two Arhats, they were still losing ground.

Lin Jin's skills were at best on par with Qing Ao's. He was soon struck in the chest by an Arhat and knocked out of the fight, caught by Xie Yunshen as he arrived.

Lin Jin looked grim. "You've messed with a big one. Hurry up and get in there!"

Xie Yunshen stepped forward, hooking his leg backward to kick aside the Arhat attacking Yi Wuyi from behind.

Yi Wuyi exclaimed, "A Xie... what are you doing?!" He was frantic that Xie Yunshen had left Mr. Yan alone.

"Mr. Yan sent me to help you."

The Arhat, struck in the face, took two steps back and stared at Xie Yunshen in surprise.

Xie Yunshen was also astonished. As expected of someone who cultivated both internal and external strength—even after being kicked, he'd only been pushed back a few steps.

In the heat of the battle, he noticed a hooded figure standing behind a load-bearing column—it was the mysterious expert from Top Star Group!

A terrifying idea hit him. He realized he'd missed something.

    He'd been too careless!

    Mr. Yan was in danger!

"Old Five, take them down in a minute," Xie Yunshen said coldly.

Lin Jin, nearby, was stunned for a moment. This guy could talk bigger game than him.

Even the hooded figure, who had been expressionless, paused, turning his head with interest.

Yi Wuyi, however, simply replied, "Okay."

The two Arhats clearly sensed that Xie Yunshen, who had been calm and measured, had suddenly changed.

His already incredible speed grew faster, cranking his speed and power to the max.

Even if they could predict his next move, they couldn't keep up. Thinking they could take one of his hits to gain an advantage, they wound up eating two, three, four hits in a row without seeing an opening.

Coupled with Yi Wuyi's powerful attacks, the Arhats' advantage of steel-like frames was no longer obvious.

In less than a minute, the two Arhats lay on the ground.

The tycoon heir watched in disbelief, his face pale.

However, Xie Yunshen didn't even glance at him. He wanted to rush back to the parking spot, but a figure blocked his path.

    It was the hoodie.

"Get out of my way!" Xie Yunshen's gaze was sharp, his brows like swords.

Yi Wuyi still wanted to step forward to intercept. "A Xie, hurry and go..."

But the hooded figure silently stepped aside.

    "..."

    "..."

When Xie Yunshen arrived, the car was empty! Both the driver and Mr. Yan were gone.

For a moment, Xie Yunshen felt the world spinning.

He shouldn't have left Mr. Yan alone! He shouldn't even have come here!

Lin Jin and Yi Wuyi caught up from behind.

Yi Wuyi could hardly believe it. "Mr. Yan is in trouble."

Xie Yunshen reached into the car door's side pocket—the item was already gone.

He glanced at the surrounding vehicles. A black sedan had been parked nearby earlier, but it was now missing.

He strained his memory, finally recalling the license plate number. "Old Five, it's A6866K..."

Yi Wuyi immediately made a call.

Xie Yunshen looked toward the garage exit. They couldn't have gone far!

    They could still catch up.

He reached out to Lin Jin. "Lend me your car!"

Lin Jin frowned and tossed him the keys. "Don't mess up the surprise in my car!"

Xie Yunshen looked at the key—it was for a sports car. Perfect assist.

Yi Wuyi got into the passenger seat. Xie Yunshen stomped on the accelerator like a madman.

The engine roared as the car shot out of the garage exit.

Lin Jin stood in place, his heart aching for half a second. This was his newly acquired sports car.
