Chapter 53 Extra Three
byChapter 53 Extra Three
◎ I Beat the School Bully Until He Cried ◎
"I hope you're as tough as you talk!" Qi Yuan glared at her with a dark expression.
After saying that, he limped out of the classroom. Everyone else quickly made way, but Qi Yuan's few brothers, holding a basketball, followed him, baffled. They'd all assumed Qi Yuan came to Class Three because he was interested in the transfer student Zuo Yue. Who would have guessed he was actually challenging a girl to a fight?
Seriously, is his brain broken?
Does he need to make such a big deal just to deal with a girl?
In all these years, they'd never seen him take anything this seriously. Now, facing a girl, he's acting like he's up against a formidable enemy. Maybe his brain really did get knocked silly yesterday.
"Hey, were you really beaten up like that by that girl yesterday?" one of the boys asked curiously.
The others also looked skeptical. Qi Yuan was someone who could fight his way out of being surrounded by over a dozen adults. How could he possibly be beaten so badly—nose not nose, face not face—by a frail-looking girl?
"Could it be that he fell on his own?" Zhou Huai glanced back with a strange expression. "I saw it with my own eyes. That girl laid out guys with one punch each. Seven or eight guys were crawling away from her. Even our Brother Yuan..."
Sensing a certain icy gaze, he quickly shut his mouth and took out a box of Skittles, tossing two into his mouth.
Hearing this, the others all looked incredulous. How does this sound so fantastical?
When did Second High School produce such a formidable character? And they knew nothing about it.
But if he wasn't beaten up by someone, then Brother Yuan's injuries couldn't possibly be from falling on his own.
"Tomorrow, I'll definitely make that girl kneel and beg for mercy!" Qi Yuan's expression grew increasingly grim, as if he had never been so humiliated in his life.
The others exchanged glances. Whether it's true or not, they'll find out tomorrow. They really want to see just how powerful that girl is, to dare beat their Brother Yuan into such a state!
The bystanders outside the classroom gradually dispersed, while the people inside crowded around, asking curiously, "Mimi, are you close with Qi Yuan? Did he really challenge you to... to a fight tomorrow?"
"You really shouldn't go. Qi Yuan is so strong; how could you possibly beat him? Plus, his family has connections. If you get hurt, you might not even get any compensation." A kind-hearted girl in the front row couldn't help but offer advice.
Even the class monitor came over. "Yeah, our classroom has surveillance cameras installed now. He probably wouldn't dare cause trouble for you. Otherwise, you can just tell the teacher."
"I think she's just playing hard to get, deliberately trying to attract Qi Yuan's attention. Everyone knows Qi Yuan's family is rich. This way, she can climb the social ladder later." A voice dripping with sarcasm suddenly rang out in the classroom.
Su Mi looked up and saw it was Liu Lin, the entertainment committee member. It was no secret that she had a crush on the male lead. Jealous that the female lead could get so close to him, she often set traps for the female lead in the original story, and the original host was frequently targeted by her too.
If Wang Zhizhi was openly malicious, then Liu Lin was the type to scheme behind the scenes. In the original story, she even deliberately read aloud a love letter someone wrote to the female lead in front of everyone, which later got the female lead a major demerit at school, while Liu Lin only had to say she didn't know any better.
"A dung beetle thinks everything is fresh. Only trash like you enjoys pairing up with shit. It's a pity even this pile of shit isn't willing to drop into your cesspit, which shows just how repulsive, dog-avoiding, and stinking you are." Su Mi said with utter disgust.
Hearing this, Liu Lin's face immediately changed. She hadn't expected Su Mi to dare insult her. She immediately slammed her hand on the desk and stood up, her expression extremely ugly. "Say that again if you dare! Believe me, I'll tell the teacher!"
Su Mi took out her phone, opened the recording app, and walked over step by step. "Go on, tell me you don't like that pile of dog shit named Qi Yuan. Next time I see him, I'll definitely pass on the message for you."
Seeing this, Liu Lin was both furious and flustered. She simply buried her head on the desk and started sobbing, as if she had been bullied to tears by Su Mi.
Su Mi grabbed her hair and said sinisterly, "Is your family in the renovation business? You're so good at putting on an act. Perfect timing, my toilet still needs renovating. Material like you is most suitable for the job."
"You—"
This time, Liu Lin was truly furious, her eyes reddening. Especially under the pointing and whispering of others, she covered her eyes and tried to run out.
But her hair was pulled, forcing her to bounce back. She clutched her head in pain. "Let go of me! I will definitely tell the teacher!"
"Tell the teacher? Tell the teacher what? That you like Qi Yuan? That you've been making sarcastic, insinuating remarks about a classmate? Disturbing a classmate's preparation for the college entrance exams? Then I'd also like to ask the teacher for justice. What should be done with a malicious person like you?" Su Mi didn't let go of her hair.
Just then, Wang Zhizhi and her gang walked in, looking utterly exhausted, as if they had run several kilometers. Their faces were particularly grim. Especially when they saw Su Mi pulling Liu Lin's hair, their eyes immediately flashed with a trace of fear again.
Seeing them about to leave the classroom again, Su Mi immediately called out, "Where are you going? Attendance is about to be taken. Can you afford the responsibility if our class points get deducted?"
Hearing this, they immediately cowered and walked back in, obediently returning to their seats.
Witnessing this scene, the others felt their eyes must be playing tricks on them. This was Wang Zhizhi. She was actually so obedient to Su Mi? The sun must be rising from the west today.
Su Mi released Liu Lin's hair and then glanced in Wang Zhizhi's direction. "If I see you bullying other classmates again, there will be plenty of fresh shit in the toilets for you."
Painful memories flooded Wang Zhizhi's mind again. She was so scared she quickly waved her hands, almost crying. "No... we definitely won't dare anymore!"
As the class bell rang, Su Mi didn't waste any more words on her and returned to her seat to wait for the next exam.
However, the others looked at her with very different eyes, as if they couldn't understand what had happened. Why had Wang Zhizhi, who always loved to bully others, suddenly become so docile? And why had Su Mi, who had always been quiet and well-behaved, become so assertive and fierce? It felt like the world was turned upside down.
During dinner in the afternoon, as soon as Su Mi entered the cafeteria, she heard everyone discussing the fight between Qi Yuan and herself. After she got her food and found a seat, she opened the school forum and saw it flooded with posts—eight out of ten were discussing this matter.
"Have you heard? Qi Yuan is going to fight a girl from Class One?!"
First floor: I was right outside Class One. I heard it with my own ears. Can't be wrong!
Second floor: I saw it too. They said they're going to duel at the garbage dump behind the mountain tomorrow. It's just a bit laughable. Why would my Brother Yuan personally deal with a girl?
Third floor: Who is this Su Mi anyway? How come I've never heard of her before?
Fourth floor: I heard Brother Yuan got beaten up at the school gate a few days ago, and it was this Su Mi who did it. She also single-handedly fought off seven or eight thugs. My cousin saw it with her own eyes!!!
Fifth floor: At least make up a believable story. Why not say aliens invaded Earth? She could injure Brother Yuan? Then I'm Spider-Man [smiling emoji]
Sixth floor: Just go to the garbage dump behind the mountain tomorrow and see for yourself. I want to see which green tea b*tch is trying to seduce Brother Yuan [smiling emoji]
Seventh floor: If she can injure Brother Yuan, I'll eat sh*t upside down [smiling emoji]
Eighth floor: I've never heard of Brother Yuan issuing a challenge to anyone. What kind of big shot is this Su Mi? [skeptical emoji]
Ninth floor: Tomorrow at 6 PM, right? I'm going too. Don't let it be another rumor, wasting my time [skeptical emoji]
Tenth floor: I was buying milk tea and really saw Wang Zhizhi bring a bunch of thugs to corner two girls. This Su Mi really did fight them all off. I also think it's unbelievable...
Eleventh floor: Wang Zhizhi from Class One? She seems pretty powerful. Her so-called 'brothers' robbed us of money not long ago.
Twelfth floor: Yeah, she's collected 'protection fees' from me too. So annoying!
Thirteenth floor: Telling the teacher is useless. They'll just come after you. They even broke the surveillance cameras in the hallway!
Fourteenth floor: This Su Mi is also from Senior Three, Class One? Can Class One have such a powerful character? How come I've never heard of her?
Fifteenth floor: I saw Wang Zhizhi and her gang frantically rinsing their mouths in the first-floor bathroom today. It was terrifying!
"Mimi, are you really going tomorrow?" Zuo Yue asked while scooping her rice, her face full of worry. "Maybe you shouldn't go. What if he breaks his word and brings a lot of people to gang up on you? You'll definitely be at a disadvantage alone."
Su Mi scrolled through her phone while swallowing a spoonful of rice. "I'm doing this to protect you. Haven't you noticed he's always deliberately harassing you? He's definitely a toad lusting after swan meat. If I don't teach him a lesson, he'll only bully you more aggressively in the future. Giving in only fuels the arrogance of bullies. We must bravely resist any bullying!"
Hearing this, Zuo Yue thought seriously for a moment. In her memory, Qi Yuan did always find ways to bully her for no reason—sticking notes on her back, breaking her cup... But she had never dared to fight back...
Seeing that Su Mi was being so brave all for her sake, she felt an overwhelming surge of gratitude. Then, she picked up the chicken drumstick from her bowl and put it in Su Mi's. "Okay! We can't be cowards! I'll go with you tomorrow! We'll beat his head in together!"
Su Mi smiled and pinched her cheek. "That's right. From now on, we have to fight back against any unfair treatment."
Zuo Yue nodded, beaming. "I'll become stronger in the future, and then I'll be the one protecting you!"
Su Mi raised her cup and clinked it with Zuo Yue's before continuing to chow down. This body was still developing, and the physical toll was huge—especially with waking up so early every day for classes and exams. Still, between work and school, school was definitely the better deal. At least she didn't have to deal with stupid bosses, stupid coworkers, and clients.
School exhausted the body, but work sucked the soul right out of you. So studying hard was the most important thing. People only regret not studying harder after they start working.
However, she had underestimated the male lead's influence. By the time she went to the appointment the next afternoon, the back mountain garbage dump was already swarming with people. Even the trees were climbed by onlookers. They were more gathered here than for morning assembly.
It seemed everyone loved gossip, especially when it involved the school heartthrob.
Then, a commotion rippled through the crowd as the male lead and his buddies arrived. Everyone automatically cleared a path. The male lead's leg was clearly much better now—he wasn't limping anymore—though his face still bore bruises. He looked utterly arrogant and gloomy, like he owned the place and was pissed about it.
Su Mi told Zuo Yue to start recording with her phone to get evidence first, proving that the male lead had initiated the conflict. That way, even if she reported it to a teacher or the police, she would have the upper hand.
After all, even if she injured him, it would be self-defense.
"Is that Su Mi?"
As a girl walked over, the crowd instantly erupted. No one had ever heard that name before, but now the whole school knew who she was.
Everyone had expected some tough customer, but seeing her slender frame, they thought it was a joke. Seriously, where did she get the guts to provoke Master Qi?
"I bet she's just trying to get Master Qi's attention. What a scheming bitch!"
"Exactly. Master Qi could take her down with one hand. Then she'd probably try to pin it on him. How shameless can someone be?"
Ignoring the strange stares, Su Mi walked right up to Qi Yuan. She glanced at the two guys beside him. "Just the three of you?"
Seeing her so arrogant, one of the guys next to Qi Yuan immediately pointed at her. "What do you mean, 'just the three of us'? You think we need Brother Yuan to handle you? Our Brother Yuan never hits women. You'd better kneel down, kowtow, and apologize right now if you know what's good for—"
The guy suddenly doubled over, clutching his stomach, and stumbled back several steps, his face twisted in pain. The basketball in his hand bounced slowly to Su Mi's feet.
She stepped on the basketball and coldly swept her gaze over the remaining two. "Anyone else?"
Zhou Huai silently moved to the side. "I... I'm just here to watch."
A wise man knows when to yield. His gut told him Qi Yuan was no match for Su Mi, so why bother getting involved? His handsome face couldn't take many punches.
Qi Yuan ignored him too, just glaring daggers at Su Mi. He scanned the crowd, and seeing no sign of Zuo Yue, he felt relieved. He slowly wrapped a cloth strip around his fist, his gaze fixed on Su Mi like a hawk.
Today, he was going to reclaim all the face he'd lost last time!
As a punch shot straight toward her face, Su Mi tilted her head to the left. Then, with a straight punch, she smashed it right into his face. Taking advantage of his pained retreat, she lifted her foot and kicked him flying two or three meters away.
The previously chattering crowd fell dead silent. Everyone stared wide-eyed, unable to believe what they had just seen. Impossible! How could this be?
Qi Yuan was the school's top bully, undefeated until now. How could he be beaten like this by a girl? And it was a one-sided beatdown at that.
Su Mi walked step by step over to Qi Yuan, then leaned down and patted his face. "Kid, remember to steer clear of me from now on. Otherwise, this is what you get."
She suddenly tossed the basketball into the air, spun around, and delivered a side kick, sending the ball soaring in a high arc before it landed in a distant, foul-smelling trash can.
Qi Yuan clutched his stomach, his face full of shock. He had never imagined he could be so easily defeated. But Su Mi's movements were too fast—he hadn't even had time to react. And though she looked slender and weak, her explosive power was incredibly high. He'd been in countless fights but had never encountered anything like this.
He had been defeated by a girl!
This realization was completely unacceptable to him!
"How is this possible? Did she take steroids or something?" a guy in the crowd questioned doubtfully.
Su Mi walked over step by step, grabbed the guy by the collar, and hauled him out. Then, with a kick, she sent him flying. "Trash will always be trash. They never look for reasons within themselves. They fail exams, they lose fights—yet people like this still have the nerve to bully others. From now on, I'll beat up every single one I see!"
The crowd fell into complete silence. Their looks toward Su Mi shifted from mockery and doubt to shock and fear. Forget the fact that she had KO'd Master Qi in less than a minute—just that move where she kicked the basketball away... No normal person could pull that off. You only saw stuff like that in movies.
No wonder even Master Qi was no match for her. She was terrifying! Absolutely horrifying!
Feeling his pride thoroughly crushed and ground into the dirt once again, Qi Yuan clenched his fists, ready to attack once more. But suddenly, a shout came from the crowd.
"What's going on here? What are all of you doing gathered here? Who's fighting? Step forward right now!"
Seeing the dean of students appear, everyone instantly scattered like a swarm, as if fleeing from a flood or a beast.
Noticing it was Qi Yuan fighting again, the dean frowned even deeper. No wonder the school seemed empty—everyone had run here to watch a fight!
But as he looked around, he couldn't find any victim. Instead, he only saw Qi Yuan with a bloody nose. Usually, it was Qi Yuan who made others bleed; no one had ever beaten him up like this before.
"Who were you fighting with?" the dean asked displeased, looking at the others.
Su Mi, wearing her loose school uniform, innocently gazed up at the sky. Qi Yuan just lazily glanced at him. "None of your business!"
Hearing this, the dean's frown deepened. Fighting in groups right at school? Utter lawlessness! Today, he was determined to root out everyone involved!
He then turned his gaze to Zhou Huai. "Who beat him up like this? Was it you?"
The latter frantically shook his head. "It wasn't me! I didn't do it! I don't know anything!"
