Chapter 15 Sponsorship Agreement
byChapter 15: The Maintenance Agreement
Chi Luoxi struggled awake in a tight, enveloping heat.
He felt like a fish squeezed flat.
One of He Angxiao's arms was pressed across his neck, like a big cat claiming its territory. Not only that, Chi Luoxi's entire back, from his shoulder blades to his waist and hips, was perfectly sealed against a chest with distinct muscles and a body running a little hot. The other's long, powerful leg was also unceremoniously pressed against his, with a knee against his hamstring and an instep against his ankle.
Chi Luoxi, from his hair tips to his heels, was almost completely embedded in He Angxiao's embrace, surrounded and squeezed by the other's aura from every angle with no gaps.
The air he breathed in felt thin.
Chi Luoxi thought groggily, who sleeps like this?
Like an octopus pulling everything in its arms into its body, leaving no gap.
Maybe He Angxiao’s an octopus spirit?
Chi Luoxi shifted, but He Angxiao's arm around his shoulders didn't loosen—instead, it tightened.
He could hardly breathe.
Now Chi Luoxi felt like a piece of sticky rice cake on a hot stone—soft, sticky, and flattened.
Almost like a dried radish.
He struggled, trying to pry He Angxiao's arm off his chest finger by finger, but it wouldn't budge—it felt welded to him.
He also tried to wiggle out from underneath, like a worm, wriggling and twisting until the expensive silk sheets beneath him were almost bunched up.
Finally, he managed to pull his upper body out of that scorching embrace, lying face-down beside He Angxiao.
His butt was a little sore.
Memories from last night: Mr. He had demonstrated his initially somewhat poor radish-field plowing skills.
Chi Luoxi vaguely remembered that when he was dizzy and disoriented, he’d muttered some small complaint or question. Then Mr. He seemed to flip some strange switch, and instead of stopping, he worked even harder.
Like a young, energetic lion spurred on by competitiveness.
The result was that Chi Luoxi was a complete mess.
Inside and out, body and mind, he was like a thoroughly plowed field, limp among the rumpled bedclothes, without the strength to even lift a finger.
The last few memory fragments were the blurry shadows of the ceiling lamp, the sensation of Mr. He's hot sweat dripping into the hollow of his collarbone, and his own broken pleas and murmurs.
"Husband... husband... hold me..."
God knows, he didn’t even know what he was saying then; he just acted on instinct, uttering the only spell to calm the beast beside him.
It got a little more comfortable after that.
Chi Luoxi pressed his cheek against the cool pillow and blinked.
The room had heavy blackout curtains drawn; only a sliver of gray morning light leaked through the edges, barely outlining the furniture's vague shape and the sleeping silhouette of the man beside him.
Chi Luoxi turned his head to look at He Angxiao.
Mr. He looked completely different when asleep compared to last night. His brows, usually too sharp, were relaxed, his tall nose casting a small shadow on his cheek, his lips slightly pursed—like a good-natured, handsome, ordinary man.
Chi Luoxi couldn't help but reach out a finger to touch He Angxiao's wrist resting on the pillow, calling softly: "Mr. He..."
He Angxiao pulled his arm back, scooping the barely escaped Chi Luoxi back into his arms, holding him even tighter. He buried his face in the hollow of Chi Luoxi's neck, rubbing his warm, dry lips against the skin, speaking with heavy sleepiness and a nasal voice: "Call me your husband."
Chi Luoxi, ticklish, shrank his neck. Mr. He was so warm, like a little furnace. He obediently complied, in a softer voice than before: "Husband..."
"...I'm hungry."
He Angxiao half-opened his eyes, still drowsy, but accurately found Chi Luoxi's stomach. His big hand slid from Chi Luoxi's waist, palm warm, covering his flat, soft belly, rubbing it lightly.
Chi Luoxi was only wearing a pair of boxers—He Angxiao's, too big, hanging loosely on his hip bones, about to fall off.
He Angxiao's hand pressed against his bare skin, circling Chi Luoxi's waist, pulling him closer. Then he turned his head, pressing his hot lips against Chi Luoxi's sensitive outer ear, biting the thin earlobe lightly, breathing warm, moist air into it.
"Didn't I feed you plenty last night?"
Chi Luoxi didn't catch He Angxiao's dirty talk, thinking that He Angxiao hadn't given him any food at all.
He wanted to curl up, but was trapped tightly in He Angxiao's arms. Chi Luoxi could only bury his burning face deeper into the gap between the pillow and He Angxiao's chest: "...I want to eat."
He Angxiao released his arm from around Chi Luoxi's waist, reached out, and grabbed his phone from the nightstand. The screen lit up in the dim room, a bit harshly.
His fingertips swiped a few times, and he handed the phone directly to Chi Luoxi: "Order whatever you want."
He lay back down, but his arm still rested possessively on Chi Luoxi's waist, chin resting on top of his head: "Order whatever you want."
Chi Luoxi held He Angxiao's phone; the screen showed a restaurant's online ordering interface. He scrolled, seeing crystal shrimp dumplings, abalone sauce chicken feet, crab roe soup dumplings, crispy char siu bao... everything looked incredibly delicious.
Chi Luoxi swallowed, asking softly: "Husband, what do you want to eat?"
Chi Luoxi thought it would be a bit embarrassing to order too much for himself.
He Angxiao seemed to enjoy holding him; he rubbed his chin against Chi Luoxi's soft hair, then reached out with thumb and forefinger to pinch Chi Luoxi's chin, gently forcing him to turn his face a little, and kissed him.
Unlike last night's aggressive deep kiss, it was a light peck—once, twice, three times—pecking at his soft lips. After, he used his fingertip to wipe Chi Luoxi's moistened lips, thinking this Little Digger was quite considerate.
He Angxiao said lazily: "Whatever you eat, I'll eat."
Chi Luoxi ordered a few dishes that looked good. After ordering, he handed the phone back to He Angxiao and said softly: "I'm done ordering."
He Angxiao took the phone, confirmed payment, and tossed it aside. He pulled Chi Luoxi back into his arms, arms tightening, wrapping him up completely: "It'll take a while to get here. Sleep a bit more."
Chi Luoxi, held in his arms, sank into the soft bedding and He Angxiao's warm embrace. His body was tired, but his mind was unusually clear, floating in a dazed excitement.
Scattered thoughts bubbled up like foam, and Chi Luoxi couldn't help but murmur quietly: "Husband, so from now on I'll live with you? Oh, I still have stuff in the dorm, I need to get it. Where's my phone? Fell off? I need to tell Mana the good news..."
He didn't finish.
He Angxiao used a kiss to silence his chattering mouth, biting his lower lip, then pulling back a little, nose to nose: "...If you keep talking, we'll go again."
Chi Luoxi shook his head vigorously like a rattle, promising in a tiny voice: "Husband, I'll shut up."
He Angxiao was satisfied, letting out a soft hum, and pressed him back into his arms.
Chi Luoxi then drifted off to sleep again, groggily.
He Angxiao's bed was so soft, and his embrace was like an airtight fortress, warmth radiating continuously, wrapping Chi Luoxi perfectly, the clean scent of the other around his nostrils like the most effective sleeping pill.
When Chi Luoxi opened his eyes again, the light filtering in from the window had turned a golden white.
The spot next to him was empty.
Chi Luoxi groggily propped himself up on his sore arms, the silky blanket sliding off his body as he looked around in confusion.
Just then, the bedroom door was pushed open from the outside.
He Angxiao stood in the doorway, dressed in loose, comfortable dark gray loungewear. The soft cotton fabric softened his sharp edges, and his hair was casually tousled, not perfectly neat but exuding a relaxed, lazy charm.
"Awake? Can you get out of bed? Let's eat."
Chi Luoxi said he could. He didn't want to cause Mr. He any trouble, but as soon as his feet touched the ground and he stood up, a wave of soreness shot from his lower back straight to his tailbone, accompanied by an indescribable pull at the base of his thighs and a dull ache in a certain place.
His knees gave way, and he half-collapsed onto the blanket, stretching out his hands toward He Angxiao. "Husband... help me, I can't do it. I can't move."
He Angxiao walked to the wardrobe, pulled it open, and took out a set of pajamas. "The ones I bought for you have been washed. Wear mine first."
He moved carefully. The clothes were naturally too big—a few sizes too large. Chi Luoxi's frame was slender, and wearing He Angxiao's clothes made him look like a child who had sneaked into an adult's outfit.
The hem of the top was so long it almost reached his upper thighs, the collar hung loosely, and the fabric slipped off one shoulder. The pants were way too long, pooling around his ankles.
He Angxiao crouched down, took hold of one of Chi Luoxi's thin ankles, and helped roll up the too-long pant legs, revealing his pale ankles, the bones beautifully defined.
He rolled up the sleeves layer by layer as well.
During this process, He Angxiao's gaze inevitably swept over the scattered marks on Chi Luoxi's body—from his neck to his collarbone, from his chest to his waist, and even on his inner thighs, there were marks of varying depths and shades.
Some were hickeys, and there were faint bluish bruises from fingerprints. He Angxiao didn't even remember how the ones on his inner thighs had gotten there.
His fingertips paused imperceptibly near those marks. He gave a quick, guilty glance at Chi Luoxi's expression.
Chi Luoxi allowed himself to be handled, his cheeks still carrying the flush of just waking up, looking docile and obedient.
In his mind, He Angxiao silently recalled: when had those bite marks on Chi Luoxi's thighs been left?
Chi Luoxi's skin was too pale, so these marks stood out especially on him. If Chi Luoxi talked about this, or if someone else saw it, wouldn't people start saying he had some weird fetish?
He Angxiao straightened up, looking at Chi Luoxi, who seemed even smaller wrapped in his oversized loungewear. Without asking if he could walk, he simply bent down, slid one arm under his knees and the other around his back, and effortlessly lifted him into a bridal carry.
Chi Luoxi wrapped his arms around his neck and swung his legs a little. "...Husband, you're amazing."
Chi Luoxi ate this meal while sitting on He Angxiao's lap.
The dining chair was very wide. He Angxiao sat down and placed Chi Luoxi on his lap, holding him like a large plush toy.
The delivered food was sumptuous. Chi Luoxi was genuinely hungry, and he ate with relish—small but frequent bites. His cheeks puffed up as he chewed, and when he was particularly pleased, his slender calves, exposed by the rolled-up pant legs, would unconsciously sway a little, his feet drawing small arcs in the air.
He Angxiao loosely wrapped one arm around his waist to keep him from falling, holding chopsticks in the other hand. He himself ate very little, spending most of the time watching the person in his arms eat, occasionally picking up a dish that was far away for him, or blowing on soup to cool it before bringing it to his lips.
Chi Luoxi really did eat a lot.
He finished most of a serving of crystal-clear shrimp dumplings and polished off an entire small basket of crab roe soup dumplings.
He Angxiao's hand, which had been resting lightly on his waist, slid down to his lower abdomen. Through the soft cotton loungewear, he rubbed gently, feeling through his palm the warm, soft curve of his belly, full from the meal. He raised an eyebrow in slight surprise, lowering his head to look at Chi Luoxi's still thin profile and slender neck, murmuring in awe, "You ate so much... where does it all go?"
How could such a small body hold it all?
Chi Luoxi was taking small bites of the char siu bao's crispy crust. Hearing this, he let out a questioning "Hmm?" before swallowing the food in his mouth.
Chi Luoxi covered his mouth. "...Did I eat too much?"
Wouldn't that make me seem like a monster?
He Angxiao: "It's fine. I can afford to take care of you."
Chi Luoxi was deeply moved. Hearing this, he felt that He Angxiao was practically one of the top ten most heartwarming people. So he, with his mouth still tasting of beef and char siu bao, gave He Angxiao a kiss.
As if suddenly remembering something, Chi Luoxi licked the slightly greasy corner of his mouth and asked softly, "Husband, aren't you going to work today?"
He Angxiao wanted to reach up and wipe his own face, but thought that doing so in front of Chi Luoxi would make him feel really upset and crushed. So he held back.
Work, my ass. Having just had his way with him, running off to work early the next morning would make him a scumbag who takes what he wants and walks away. He lowered his head. "What, you don't want to see me?"
"No," Chi Luoxi said. "I just didn't want to keep you from work."
He Angxiao felt a soft warmth in his heart at this serious look, along with an odd tickle in his heart. He pinched Chi Luoxi's cheek, finding the texture delicate and warm. "Such a good boy."
Receiving the praise, Chi Luoxi's eyes curved into a smile. He took another bite of food and then remembered something important. "Husband, didn't you say you'd help me move my stuff? I still have things in the dorm."
Those things might not be valuable, but they were very important to him. There were a few old clothes he had brought from the mountains, and some local specialties that Chun Dama had brought for Chun Sheng, though he had already cooked and eaten some of them in the last few days.
He Angxiao looked at his bright, sparkling eyes. A rare warmth and laziness were still spreading through his heart. He didn't want to move, and he especially didn't want the soft, warm person in his arms to leave.
"We'll go in a couple of days," He Angxiao said dismissively. "No rush."
"A couple of days? But Manager Yang is very strict. If she sees that I haven't come back, she might have someone throw my things away as trash."
Chi Luoxi said urgently, "Husband, do you have your phone? Lend it to me. I'll send her a message and let her know. She's afraid of you, but not of me."
He Angxiao frowned. "I don't have her contact info."
"Then I have to go get it right now."
Chi Luoxi struggled to get off He Angxiao's lap. As he moved, it pulled at something sore, and his body stiffened in pain.
He Angxiao tightened his arms, pressing him back into his lap and holding him still, not letting him move. He raised an eyebrow skeptically. "...Can you even walk?"
Chi Luoxi pursed his lips and tried to put on a brave, determined expression. "I can. Those are the few things I have left."
He Angxiao watched Chi Luoxi manage to stand and thought to himself: he had still held back last night.
But Chi Luoxi was just too good. In bed, he was so clingy, calling him "husband" over and over. When He Angxiao leaned down to kiss him, he would obediently part his lips. His movements were innocent yet audaciously bold—who could resist that?
So He Angxiao drove Chi Luoxi to pick up his things himself.
The car stopped at the entrance of the alley. Chi Luoxi unbuckled his seatbelt, and as his hand touched the door handle: "Husband, wait for me downstairs. I'll be right back."
He Angxiao leaned back in the leather seat, turning his head to look at him. The light from outside the window outlined Chi Luoxi's soft hair and the sharp contour of his chin. He hummed in acknowledgment, then said, "Wait. Once you go up there, if anyone asks about what's between us, don't say a word. Not one word, understand?"
Chi Luoxi was puzzled. "Why?"
He Angxiao didn't explain.
Why? Of course, He Angxiao was afraid that Chi Luoxi's mouth would blurt out something shocking, something wild and unfiltered. As they say, there are no walls without ears.
Word would spread: Oh, that He family's young master, who seems so cold and aloof, actually has such a taste. And he messed the person up so bad they couldn't get out of bed. He didn't want to get himself labeled with some weird reputation.
"Just do as I say. Remember what husband said?"
Chi Luoxi: "Okay."
Chi Luoxi had just reached his floor when he pulled out his key, gave it a shake, and the door creaked open.
Bai Man was leaning against the doorframe, sizing him up, her eyes scanning his noticeably awkward gait as he walked, finally landing on the fresh mark on the side of his neck that his collar couldn't fully conceal. She gave a knowing, slightly teasing smile.
"Oh, you're back? Congrats, Xiao Chi, I heard all about it yesterday. For you, President He flashed his golden card, played the hero saving the beauty… no, rescuing the pretty boy."
Bai Man leaned in, her eyes sparkling with gossip: "Tell me, is President He good in bed? He looks pretty wild, got you all worn out like this."
Chi Luoxi looked troubled: "Mana, Mr. He said I'm not allowed to talk about anything about us to anyone else."
Bai Man pouted and drawled: "These rich people, they're all like that, real big on privacy. But still, isn't it the same old story—keeping a wife at home and a mistress on the side, and they're scared their side flings might be seen and tarnish their precious reputation."
Her gaze fell on Chi Luoxi's dazed face, which had taken on an unconscious, seductive look from the night before. Her tone turned serious, carrying the air of an experienced one advising a newcomer.
"But, Xiao Chi, let me give it to you straight—don't be a fool and dive headfirst into this, catching real feelings. In our line of work, that's the biggest taboo. Always remember, you've got to be ready to pull out and end this relationship at any time. While he's still interested in you, milk it for all you can. He's after your youth, your looks, and your novelty; you, on the other hand, go after his money, the cushy life he can give you for a while. You scratch each other's backs, got it?"
She looked into Chi Luoxi's half-understanding eyes: "No matter how much he likes you or dotes on you, he'll never truly spend his life with a little plaything like you. Guys like him always end up marrying a woman from a well-matched family. We're just a blip, an unsavory fling in their lives. Once they're bored, it's time to part ways."
Chi Luoxi felt that the human world was just too complicated for his head to handle.
He'd only just crawled out of his den in Chunhui, and already Bai Man was teaching him how to prepare for the next move.
He remembered how He Angxiao had held him tightly this morning, arms firm, body warm, the chest pressed against his back solid and cozy, with the chin rubbing against the top of his head—a ticklish, oddly reassuring feeling.
Mr. He really did seem to like sticking close to him and holding him. So was Mr. He, as Bai Man said, more interested in his body?
That seemed about right. Mr. He had initially thought he had a low IQ, after all.
Bai Man continued to analyze for him: "Think about it, why won't he let you blabber on? Isn't it because he doesn't want any open ties with you, afraid it'll get back to his circle, ruin his reputation, mess up his chances of finding a suitable marriage partner down the line? A few years from now, once he's tired of your flavor, or his family starts pushing, he'll just wash his hands of it and break it off cleanly, no loose ends. But speaking of which..."
"He Angxiao's conditions, among our clients in this line, are pretty top-notch. Young, rich, and key point, damn handsome with a great bod. You being with him, even if it's just for the moment, you're not losing out. Beats serving those fat-bellied, slack-jawed old geezers."
Bai Man watched Chi Luoxi listen to her with a serious face, but clearly, the words weren't sinking in. She suddenly understood why Manager Yang went so crazy after talking to Chi Luoxi.
It was like talking to a wall.
Chi Luoxi, however, latched onto one key sentence: "...Will Mr. He also go find others, the way he found me?"
Bai Man shrugged: "You're a kept man—a plaything, to be blunt. You think you can dictate whether your sugar daddy goes after others? He pays you, you keep him happy, that's enough. As for whether he's got other random flings out there, that's not your concern, and you can't do anything about it anyway. Just do your part, hold onto your money tight, that's what matters. You're not his wife."
Chi Luoxi protested: "...Then Mr. He has it way too good."
Bai Man: "Huh?"
Chi Luoxi thought to himself, he couldn't even get married anymore, so why should Mr. He be allowed to?
Just because he had money?
Chi Luoxi didn't dawdle for long. He unlocked his dorm room door, grabbed his denim backpack, a few old clothes, a pair of neatly washed canvas shoes, and a flowerpot. He stuffed the clothes and shoes into a colorful woven bag, then cradled the flowerpot in his arms.
With one arm holding the pot and the other easily lifting two large bags, he walked down the stairs. His pace was a bit slow due to his physical discomfort, but he was steady.
Bai Man told him to stay in touch.
Chi Luoxi hesitated for a moment, then said to Bai Man, "Don't stay here too long either."
Bai Man smiled and said, "I know. I recently got a bit of money and I'm already considering quitting."
Chi Luoxi nodded and bid her farewell.
He Angxiao was getting a little impatient waiting in the car. He was just pushing the door open to go up and find him when he saw Chi Luoxi shuffling out slowly.
He was clutching a dusty gray earthenware flowerpot to his chest, with a bunch of green plants swaying gently in the evening breeze. In each hand, he carried a bulging woven bag.
He Angxiao's mouth twitched: "...Are you cosplaying as Léon: The Professional?"
Chi Luoxi: "What? This is all my stuff."
Chi Luoxi had absolutely no sense of the immense gap between his shabby luggage and the gleaming luxury car in front of him.
He Angxiao didn't say anything more. He stepped forward and reached out to take the woven bags from Chi Luoxi.
Looking at that pile of stuff, He Angxiao really wanted to say, throw this junk away, I'll buy you new stuff for anything you need. But the words got stuck in his throat.
If he actually said it, it might hurt Chi Luoxi's fragile pride. Still, he still didn't get why that pot was so important he had to bring it.
Chi Luoxi sat quietly in the passenger seat, the flowerpot still on his lap, his gaze fixed on He Angxiao's hands on the wheel, the knuckles prominent, then shifting to He Angxiao's side profile.
He stared for a long time, so long that He Angxiao noticed the look and glanced at him sideways. Chi Luoxi liked him so much, staring at him for so long.
Meeting his gaze, Chi Luoxi asked, "Honey, are you going to marry someone else in the future?"
He Angxiao's hand tightened on the steering wheel, his eyes fixed ahead. His expression didn't change, but the line of his jaw tightened noticeably.
Why was Chi Luoxi asking this?
They'd only slept together once, and the very next day he was already rushing to stake a claim? So he wasn't really as clueless as he seemed, huh. Heh, pretty clever with his schemes.
He Angxiao said smugly: "...Of course. Tons of people want to marry me."
Chi Luoxi sighed: "...Ah, I'm so jealous."
As a radish who had originally entered the city with dreams, only to end up on a crooked path as a gigolo after being wronged by bad people, Chi Luoxi had lost any chance of getting married. If his future wife ever found out he'd done this kind of work, no decent girl from a respectable family would want to marry him.
Once you go down the gigolo path, your morals are history.
And since He Angxiao was going to get married, he wouldn't be able to keep this gig for long either. He'd have to change jobs again. Chi Luoxi was worried about job stability.
Meanwhile, He Angxiao's mind was racing.
Jealous?
Jealous of his future wife?
Chi Luoxi basically wanted to be his wife himself, didn't he?
He Angxiao thought, Chi Luoxi had only just passed the first hurdle, and already he wanted to be Mrs. He. Such ambition—unacceptable. He needed to warn him—this was way too ambitious.
"To be the lady of the He family, you've got to excel in the four arts—music, chess, calligraphy, and painting—and have fair skin, beauty, long legs, and a good education. Otherwise, your kids will be dumb."
As He Angxiao spoke, he watched Chi Luoxi's expression. Sure enough, Chi Luoxi's face twisted a bit.
Chi Luoxi had admired He Angxiao before, but now he was feeling a bit envious. It seemed Mr. He wasn't a good guy either—sleeping with him and still expecting to find a perfect wife.
Chi Luoxi said, "Honey, you need to write me a contract."
He Angxiao: "...What contract?"
"Sugar daddy contract." Chi Luoxi said four words, remembering how Manager Yang scared him with a contract back then, saying that with everything in black and white, if he didn't repay the money, they would sue and the police would come to arrest him.
He thought contracts were powerful, binding things.
He Angxiao was silent for two seconds, looking at Chi Luoxi's eyes—so serious and full of foresight. He curled the corner of his mouth and asked, "...Fine, then tell me, how many years?"
Chi Luoxi gave it some serious thought. He didn't have a high education now and had few skills. Online it says you need to improve yourself to be competitive: "...Five years, is that okay?"
He figured that in five years, he could find a way to study, learn something, maybe even get some certification, because as they say, beauty fades, and no flower blooms forever. What if one day Mr. He doesn't like my body anymore or wants to get married? He needed a backup plan so he wouldn't be as useless as he was now.
Originally, Chi Luoxi wanted to say two years, but he didn't quite trust his own learning ability.
He Angxiao listened to his five-year plan and thought, "Is he really that confident he can win me over in five years?" He was a firm believer in never getting married and never having kids. His parents' marriage was a mess; he'd seen firsthand how marriage can torment people, and he would never change for anyone.
There's no eternal love, only eternal interests—that was He Angxiao's mantra.
"Fine," He Angxiao agreed curtly. "Five years it is."
He wanted to see what tricks Chi Luoxi had up his sleeve.
After all, he already had this man in his grasp—slept with him, held him. What difference does five years or twenty make? As long as Chi Luoxi stayed by his side, got used to the luxurious, carefree life he provided, and was slowly nurtured into material and physical dependence, he would grow like a vine, only able to cling to his big tree for survival, unable to live without him.
By then, not just five years, but even fifty years wouldn't let him fly away.
Chi Luoxi might regret his decision in five years, crying and clinging to him, saying, "Honey, I regret not making it longer."
He Angxiao said, "Since we're signing a contract, some things need to be clear. From now on, don't contact anyone from Chunhui, especially that Bai Man."
Chi Luoxi looked at him puzzled. "Why?"
Bai Man was his friend. Even though she sometimes said things he didn't understand, she had at least helped him when he was most helpless.
He Angxiao was high-handed. "No reason. No means no. You're my man now. Stay away from those shady types."
Chi Luoxi reluctantly agreed. "...Alright."
But secretly, he thought: Fine, if I can't contact her openly, I'll just do it on the sly.
The car smoothly entered the underground parking lot of the apartment complex.
He Angxiao parked but didn't get out right away.
He took out his phone, found the company legal department on WeChat, and sent a message: Draft a personal agreement for me. Party A is me, Party B is Chi Luoxi. It's a... sugar daddy agreement. Set the terms as you see fit. Monthly payment: two hundred thousand. Send it to me as soon as possible.
Not long after, his phone buzzed. The legal department replied: "Okay, Mr. He. On it now."
On the other side of the screen, the young and capable legal officer put down his phone, pushed up his glasses, and rubbed his hands together. Finally, some juicy gossip! He silently grumbled to himself: This young, promising boss, always so calm and self-controlled, now getting into this kind of thing. A sugar daddy agreement, monthly payment of two hundred thousand. What kind of heavenly beauty was this?
Tsk, indeed, when men get rich, they go bad. Even the boss couldn't escape the cliché. He was simply a beast.
The draft agreement was quickly sent to He Angxiao's phone, with strict formatting and thorough terms. It fully considered Party A's interests, detailing Party B's obligations, code of conduct, confidentiality clauses, and liability for breach of contract—clearly the work of a professional, covering all potential risks of a money-for-sex arrangement.
When Chi Luoxi got home, he went back to sleep.
He Angxiao sat in the wide leather chair in his study, scrolling through the document line by line. He paused on certain clauses and went through it once.
He selected all the clauses that restricted Party B's social circle, controlled Party B's words and actions, required Party B to be on call at all times, and even banned Party B from leaving the city without Party A's permission—and deleted them all, one by one.
Then he also removed the astronomical figures for breach of contract and confidentiality.
In the end, the entire agreement was drastically altered, leaving only the most core lines: Party A (He Angxiao) shall pay Party B (Chi Luoxi) RMB 200,000 per month; payment method: bank transfer; agreement term: five years.
Other than that, Party B had almost no obligations—even the basic terms about maintaining the relationship were vague.
He Angxiao checked it over, hit send, and sent the heavily revised agreement back to legal with a note: Print the official version based on this.
Chi Luoxi was dumb enough to sign a contract like that one from Chunhui. From what He Angxiao knew of him, Chi Luoxi couldn't understand it at all; he could fool him with a few lies.
The legal officer received the reply, opened it, and stared at the agreement that had been stripped of almost all core restrictive clauses, leaving only the substantive content of giving money. He was stunned for a good ten seconds.
He took off his glasses and looked again to confirm he wasn't seeing things.
What kind of sugar daddy agreement was this? It was clearly a one-sided, unconditional sugar daddy deal.
So their boss was a simp after all.

Author's note: I messed up last chapter. I pre-reviewed it and it got stuck for a whole day. I really have no clue. Wait for me to fix it, lovelies.
Legal officer: Thought there'd be big gossip, leaving disappointed.
Little Radish: Far away it smells good, up close it stinks. He's slowly losing his idol filter.
Others turn interests into love. Peacock He really wants to turn love into interests. This kid's lucky to be written into this story.
