Next, Fei Cheng and Gang Fengxing would follow as a pair, arriving a few hours later.

Gang Fengxing immediately started circling Yi Tiantian like an excited puppy.

Watching Yi Tiantian and Xie Yi depart, Fei Cheng and Gang Fengxing silently stared for a long time.

Gang Fengxing, still watching Yi Tiantian’s retreating figure, asked without turning away.

"What is it?"

Fei Cheng’s gaze remained fixed on Yi Tiantian’s departing form.

They first arrived at a port city in Thailand, where they found the contact person for Maiden Island, and then made their way onto the island.

As soon as Yi Tiantian stepped off the plane, she felt the air was much warmer than back home. The fluffy wool shawl made her cheeks flush red.

Xie Yi glanced at Yi Tiantian's rosy face, finding her even more feminine at that moment.

After making eye contact with Yi Tiantian, Xie Yi looked away.

"From now on, stay in character. Don’t slip up."

Following Fei Cheng’s instructions, the two walked down a bustling street in the Thai port city of Manku.

Despite wearing masks, Xie Yi and Yi Tiantian drew many gazes due to their outstanding appearance and physique.

Some people around them were whispering in Thai.

"Maybe they’re internet celebrities? I should take a photo and ask online!"

Xie Yi remained unfazed by the attention.

His mind was solely focused on finding his sister; nothing else mattered.

Just as they were about to turn into a secluded alley, an old man with white hair and sores on his face approached them.

He held something shiny, a mystical item called a "green amulet" in the local lingo.

"This old man is a salesman. That green amulet is just a prop he uses to scam tourists."

"He’s about to claim it has magical powers, but it’s actually worthless, not even as good as iron!"

Yi Tiantian anticipated the old man's next move.

Xie Yi frowned slightly upon hearing Yi Tiantian's words, and sure enough, the old man stopped right in front of them.

In Chinese, the old man said, "Young man and lady, would you like to buy a green amulet? It’s a famous talisman in our country…"

Before he could finish, Xie Yi coldly replied, "Sorry, we don’t need it."

The old man, seemingly expecting this response, continued with a smile, "Ah, you may not know, but it’s better to have a talisman here; otherwise, it can be dangerous."

With that, he flashed a creepy grin, which made his sores wrinkle together, looking rather revolting.

Xie Yi tried to pull Yi Tiantian away from the old man.

Perhaps feeling disrespected by the young couple, the old man shouted menacingly, "If you don’t buy it, I’ll curse you both right now!"

"What a lunatic! If he could curse, pigs would fly!"

Yi Tiantian rolled her eyes internally.

"This old man used to be a Thai actor, but he was forced to switch careers due to a pedophilia scandal and now scams tourists!"

"So this fraudster can’t curse anyone!"

Upon hearing Yi Tiantian’s thoughts, the old man’s expression turned bizarre.

Though he often scared tourists with talk of ghosts and curses, he didn’t believe in such things himself!

Hearing Yi Tiantian’s voice, he was startled, almost missing a beat in his heart.

Confused about the source of the voice, he tried to speak but found his mouth wouldn’t open!

After many attempts, the old man still couldn't make a sound.

Finally, in a fit of rage, he shouted, "I don't care who you are; I'm telling you, both of you will surely die on this trip! Die a gruesome death!"

The old man's words were extremely vicious, and the sores on his face seemed to fester even more.

"The one who should die a gruesome death is this old man!"

"The old man still retains his habit of refining copper, but having lost his status as a celebrity, he can only gain access to the island by secretly assisting the girls."
