The contact, also known as the old man, was unaware that the two people in front of him, especially Xie Yi, were guests on Maiden Island. He was still fuming over Yi Tiantian's inner monologue.

The old man was so enraged that he nearly passed out.

"I want a durian."

His voice was cold and emotionless.

Yi Tiantian knew this was the secret code for Maiden Island and immediately tensed up.

The old man with sores seemed oblivious and continued cursing, "What do you want? Telling me won't help! You filthy things..."

He suddenly stopped mid-sentence, his face turning pale with fear.

"You... you... you..."

He stammered, looking panicked.

Xie Yi stared at the old man, his face like ice, his eyes piercing like icicles.

The old man shivered, finally realizing that these two were the very guests he was supposed to welcome!

The old man opened the iron door behind the stacked crates, revealing a narrow, dark passage.

"Continue forward, and you'll reach the coast where a yacht will pick you up."

The old man smiled ingratiatingly, bowing and gesturing for them to proceed.

Xie Yi and Yi Tiantian exchanged a glance before following the old man into the dark passage.

After walking for about ten minutes, they saw sunlight at the exit and finally reached the coast.

The old man with sores bid them farewell and returned along the dark path.

Soon after, a white yacht arrived to pick up Xie Yi and Yi Tiantian. The driver was fully covered, making it impossible to discern his features except that he was a man.

"It seems Maiden Island takes secrecy very seriously," Yi Tiantian thought.

Xie Yi agreed.

Contacts like the old man were the lowest-ranking members of the Maiden Island system, expendable and numerous.

On the other hand, the yacht drivers were not disposable, so they had to ensure they remained anonymous.

Throughout the journey, the driver only spoke two greetings to the guests.

The yacht arrived at a small island, and upon disembarking, Xie Yi and Yi Tiantian encountered a new contact.

This was another man, completely covered, who led them through a dense forest path and stopped at a massive iron gate.

Yi Tiantian noticed that the gate was surrounded by towering walls, enclosing the world within.

Just as they thought they would enter smoothly, several black-clad figures suddenly appeared, surrounding them.

Xie Yi scanned the black-clad figures coldly and instinctively shielded Yi Tiantian.

Though Yi Tiantian wasn't afraid, she considered herself a fragile girl and thus moved closer to Xie Yi.

The leader of the black-clad men stood in front of them and said coldly, "Please show us your IDs."

Xie Yi and Yi Tiantian had anticipated this. Xie Yi handed over his ID and Yi Tiantian's forged identification to the black-clad man.

"I am Xie Yi, and WE is my company."

With just these two simple sentences, the surrounding black-clad men were filled with respect.

The person controlling half of the domestic entertainment industry was standing right in front of them, making it feel incredibly surreal.
