    Chapter 64

    Bite?

Iino couldn't quite grasp the meaning of this word.

But his subconscious told him that this spot was special, not to be bitten lightly; biting it came with responsibility.

    He shook his head, "No."

    "Why not?"

"I've never bitten anyone there before; it feels strange."

Shirakawa felt like every word Iino said could drive him mad; he was about to explode, his voice so alluring it could arouse desire: "You promised me a reward, you can't go back on your word, brother."

"Does it have to be a bite?"

Iino had been led into the idea that the reward must be a "bite," and his mind couldn't process anything else. Looking into Shirakawa's eyes, his sense of responsibility as an older brother surged, and after a fierce inner struggle, he chose to compromise, "Other places... would that be okay?"

Shirakawa: "Where do you want to?"

Iino didn't know. But there seemed to be many options.

"Then don't move... let me take a look."

    Shirakawa obediently remained still.

Iino's fingertips began to slide down from his forehead, tracing the deep contours of his face, the thin eyelids that gave him a somewhat cold appearance, yet the deep blue irises were like vast oceans. Iino rarely had the chance to see the sea, so he loved these eyes. But touching them with his lips seemed inappropriate.

So he continued to slide down.

His fingertips gently brushed over ShiraKawa's nose, cheeks, and the corners of his lips... He lowered his head, his gaze falling on ShiraKawa's collarbone.

The young and spirited boy had a beautifully formed collarbone.

Iino suddenly remembered a movie he had seen before, where the vampire protagonist fell in love with the human heroine at first sight. He adored her and craved her blood but had to restrain himself due to their different identities. Iino rarely watched romance films, so this one left a deep impression on him.

    "Is this okay?"

    He touched ShiraKawa's collarbone.

    "Sure."

ShiraKawa reached out and, under Iino's watchful eyes, undid his collar button.

He always dressed meticulously, every button fastened to the top, the hem of his clothes always perfectly neat as if he had an obsessive-compulsive disorder. Now, however, he was unbuttoning his shirt himself, moving slowly, deliberately teasing, gradually exposing more skin.

Iino couldn't take his eyes off him.

It was the first time he noticed how captivating ShiraKawa's movements were when unbuttoning his shirt.

It wasn't an overtly suggestive action, yet because of his restrained and chaste demeanor, it seemed to stretch every tension to its limit.

His well-defined fingers pressed against the blue buttons, looking incredibly beautiful.

"Do you want to do it?"

Seeing that Iino was staring intently, ShiraKawa took his hand, "This one, you undo it."

    "No, that’s not right..."

"This is quite common. When we were young and got wet playing in the water, you also helped me unbutton my shirt and change into a new coat."

Shirakawa's tone was even, and his serious expression made it seem as if this were truly an everyday occurrence. Iino was thoroughly convinced and raised his hand to undo the third button. In reality, exposing the collarbone didn’t require unbuttoning so many, but Shirakawa’s actions left Iino’s mind blank, unable to notice anything amiss.

He acted like a considerate older brother, clumsily unbuttoning his younger brother’s shirt.

His fingertips occasionally brushed against the youth’s chest, and he poked curiously. It was firm, with well-defined muscles and a beautiful contour. The body, still growing, exuded boundless vitality, with a latent danger hidden within the bones, as if it could transform into a towering tree at any moment.

Iino looked at him, then at himself.

How terrible, even Shirakawa’s chest was broader than his.

Feeling gloomy, he lifted his head and noticed Shirakawa’s eyes were red.

    "Shall... we start?"

    Shirakawa: "Mm, gently."

It wasn’t until the moment of actually biting down that Iino felt a sense of wrongness. But breaking a promise suddenly would be bad, so he mustered his courage, asked Shirakawa for some alcohol, and gulped down more than half the bottle. His face burned like a sunset, and his courage multiplied before he finally began.

He straightened up, his hand pressing against Shirakawa’s chest, first sniffing around his neck. Shirakawa’s scent was clean, probably from his shower gel, with a slight hint of a cold, woody fragrance that suited him perfectly.

Then he extended his tongue, tentatively licking the collarbone.

Shirakawa’s body trembled slightly, and he let out a stifled groan.

    "I haven’t started yet..."

Bai Chuan's voice was low and hoarse: "Sorry, it's a bit itchy."

Yi Ye let out an 'oh' sound, revealing his neat teeth as he leaned against the collarbone, biting down like a living vampire.

Bai Chuan closed his eyes and tilted his head back in pleasure, the veins on his neck nearly bursting. Yi Ye's fuzzy head moved between his neck, biting very lightly, not hard at all. The slightly sharp canines grazing his skin only brought unbearable shivers.

Bai Chuan thought to himself that this kind of pain was even more unbearable than glandular metamorphosis.

    "Enough yet?"

Yi Ye retracted his tongue, his lips wet, his eyes red at the corners, but his expression was serious as he asked.

There was only a barely visible mark left on Bai Chuan's collarbone. But he looked unsatisfied; the bite mark was too shallow, it would heal in just a few minutes.

    "Keep going."

"You seem to have some weird kinks."

Yi Ye, sounding like a laborer doing hard work, grunted in response and continued with renewed effort. This time, he bit harder, leaving a circle of red tooth marks. But Bai Chuan really wasn't normal; he still felt it wasn't hard enough. Yi Ye's mind was muddled, wondering if this guy was treating him like a dog, wanting to bite until he bled.

    So tired. So sleepy.

The alcohol was corroding his brain, sapping his strength.

A rare bit of temper rose in Yi Ye, wondering why he had to act like a dog biting someone.

Feeling resentful, he caught a glimpse of the prominence on Bai Chuan's neck out of the corner of his eye. It looked soft, definitely easier to bite than the collarbone.

Without giving Bai Chuan a chance to prepare, he suddenly sat up straight and leaned back to bite his Adam's apple.

    Snap—

    The string suddenly broke.

The sound of clothing rustling abruptly filled the air. Iino's chin was forcefully lifted, and his vision went dark as a figure loomed over him, stealing the warmth from his lips.

Shirakawa's large hand pressed against the back of his head, pushing the young man backward until he was cornered against the wall, with no place to run. The kiss came fiercely, laced with a vengeful intent, as he forced Iino to open his mouth. Iino refused, but the struggle left him breathless, and with a single gasp, Shirakawa's invasive breath invaded his space.

The black-haired youth opened his eyes in confusion, the feeling of being robbed of his breath causing agitation, his mind exploding with fireworks, his heartbeat deafeningly loud. Sometime during the ordeal, his legs had wrapped around Shirakawa's lean waist, feeling uncomfortable.

He tried to move away, but a quick slap from Shirakawa made him stay still.

Iino's body trembled, even in his drunken state, he vaguely knew this was shameful, and he closed his eyes, unable to face it.

While pulling Iino into kisses, Shirakawa also restrained him, not allowing any escape, like a domineering sadist.

After a long while, he finally let Iino catch his breath, stroking the back of his neck, soothing him, murmuring softly, "Good boy." But before Iino could rest for more than two seconds, Shirakawa kissed him again, never seeming to get enough, caressing his lips and brushing his fingertips across his eyes.

The usually carefree and strong young man was now on the verge of tears from Shirakawa's kisses, his eyes brimming with unshed tears. Alcohol amplifies emotions, whether joy, anger, or sorrow, and this was the real reason Iino hated drinking. He couldn't stop the urge to cry, and as Shirakawa kissed him, another emotion seeped through from deep within, a long-suppressed truth that unraveled layer by layer, reminding Iino of his loneliness as a child.

In those lonely moments, no one ever held him or kissed him.

    "Once more, okay?"

"No...," Iino rested his head on his shoulder, using his clothes to hide his tears, "I'm so tired, please don't keep..."

    "Sleepy?"

    "Mm."

    "I'll take you to rest."

Yi Ye flailed and struggled, "Enough... I'm your older brother, you can't carry me."

Bai Chuan ignored him, using both hands to lift Yi Ye, wrapping his legs around his waist, and carried him back to the bed. His legs flailed wildly, but as soon as he hit the bed, he was out, his eyelids drooping, and he quickly quieted down.

The aftereffects of alcohol are really scary.

Bai Chuan sat on the edge of the bed, glancing down at a certain restless part. He then turned and headed into the bathroom.

The cold water was freezing, enough to wash away many things.

Half an hour later, Bai Chuan came out, dressed neatly and composed, his buttons perfectly aligned, his collar properly secured. He picked up Yi Ye's kicked-off shoes and placed them under the bed, silently gazing at Yi Ye's face. He seemed to have been crying, though it was unclear if it was from the kissing or the sudden realization that left him feeling nauseous.

    But did it even matter?

No matter what kind of relationship they had, it was better than just being brothers.

Not long after, a terminal rang.

    It was Yi Ye's.

He glanced sideways at the screen displaying "Kewen Laodie."

Bai Chuan was silent for a moment, then a cold chuckle escaped him.

    Brothers.

    Damn fucking brothers.

Yi Ye had been asleep for a long time.

When he woke up, his first reaction was that his head hurt like hell. He grabbed his head without opening his eyes, muttering, "Damn, who the hell hit me from behind..."

He rubbed the back of his head and neck, only later realizing his mouth was sore, burning like it had been chewed by a dog.

"What the hell did I even do..."

    He forced his eyes open.

It was already bright out, and he squinted at the strange dorm room, only remembering what had happened the night before after a while. He remembered that Bai Chuan's heat cycle had started, and he had planned to send him back to his dorm, but instead, he got pulled into this room, and then...

    What happened next?

He thought he was about to help Bai Chuan with a handjob, but somehow ended up drinking a bit of alcohol, and after that, everything was a blur.

    Yi Ye: "..."

He gave his hands a complicated look. "No way, did I really do it?!"

Suddenly, the door opened, and Yi Ye quickly hid his hands behind his back.

Bai Chuan came in with a meal bag, glanced at him lightly, and placed the food on the table.

    "Come have breakfast."

Feeling embarrassed, Yi Ye swallowed hard and slipped on his shoes, keeping an eye on Bai Chuan's expression as he cautiously approached. After sitting down, he noticed that the breakfast Bai Chuan had brought back from the cafeteria was steamed buns, his favorite filling, and just as he went to grab one, he remembered something and quietly pulled his hand back.

    "Not eating?"

    "I... I haven't washed up yet."

Bai Chuan said nothing, just looked at him, and after a brief silence, said, "Don't you need to wash your hands?"

    "Oh... oh! Yes, yes!"

Yi Ye rushed to the bathroom. As soon as the door was shut, he nervously checked himself in the mirror, only to realize how red his face was.

    What the hell!

Why the hell is your face so red?!

"Helping your brother out with this isn't new. Don't be nervous... Physical reactions are totally normal." He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, slapped his face, washed his hands, and after mentally preparing himself, pushed the door open in one go.

Bai Chuan had set out the bowls and chopsticks and poured salty soy milk into a cup.

    "Eat."

Yi Ye buried his head in the buns, trying to act calm, but he couldn't help glancing at Bai Chuan. The main character is truly amazing, sitting there so composed, even though the person who had just comforted his "little brother" was right in front of him—truly a man destined for great tasks.

    "Last night—"

"Cough cough cough!" Just as Yi Ye was about to mention it, he choked on his soy milk, quickly grabbing a tissue to wipe up the mess. "Don't suddenly bring up that kind of topic, please."

Bai Chuan lifted his gaze. "What do you think I was going to say?"

"What else!" Yi Ye pressed his lips tightly together, his ears turning completely red. "This kind of thing, doing it once is enough, there can't be a next time! Once is enough, twice is too much, old sayings have it right. Next time, I'll be sure to have inhibitors ready, cover myself completely in inhibitors."

"Do you think I helped you masturbate last night?"

    Iino's eyes widened.

How could he say it so directly?!

Iino: "That's not what I meant..."

"You don't remember anything from last night?"

He leaned in, trying to detect any hint of pretense on Iino's face.

    Iino was stunned.

What does he mean? It doesn't sound like it was just about jerking off.

"Nothing happened between us last night?"

    He really had forgotten.

Shirakawa didn't know whether to be angry or laugh, but mostly he cursed himself for being stupid. He should have anticipated that his good brother might black out after drinking only 10 degrees of alcohol.

    "Say something."

"Nothing happened, no jerking off. You fell asleep after drinking."

He said this with a hint of gritted teeth.

Iino immediately let out a sigh of relief and chuckled, "That's good, that's good. But did your body get too pent up?"

    "…Huh."

Bai Chuan gave an ambiguous cold laugh and stopped answering.

After they finished eating, Bai Chuan went to clear the dishes. At home, he often did such things, while Iino would only think of doing a thorough cleaning when his father kicked him out of bed.

While Bai Chuan was busy, Iino sat lazily. He had never enjoyed the pleasure of a single dorm room before, sitting with one leg crossed over the other in a soft sofa, all traces of his morning blush gone. Stretching out comfortably, he took out his terminal to check who had sent him messages.

Caesar, Bush Mei Hua, Teacher Jing… just some ordinary conversations.

He replied quickly and continued scrolling down.

    Suddenly, his finger paused.

When did his old man send him a message?

He tapped into it, and there were only two sentences, short and filled with menace.

    "Old Man Kevyn"

    Get out.

    "Old Man Kevyn"

Come and face your old man.
