"Master? No, I don't have a master. She's just my sister." At this, Xiao Zhao smiled shyly. Initially, she had called Jiang Yingxue "mother." It was only after watching TV, reading children's books at home, and inheriting some of her bloodline memories that she realized Jiang Yingxue truly wasn't her mother. Right after hatching, she had thought Jiang Yingxue was her mother and that she just didn't want to acknowledge her, hence asking her to call her "sister" instead. Xiao Zhao thought to herself that this experience absolutely must not be known by her real mother, or she would be so heartbroken.

Bai Yu was surprised. "She hasn't contracted you?"

Xiao Zhao said, "No. She's my sister. I even have a grandfather and grandmother. Why would she need to contract me?"
