As Qin Liuxi rose from her seat in the carriage, she casually wiped the corner of her mouth and asked lazily, “What’s happening outside?”

"Young master, an old woman suddenly fell critically ill, and there's chaos over there."

Qin Liuxi hummed in acknowledgment, about to instruct to continue up the mountain, but then she remembered Qi Huang's words, 'We still have a thousand taels.'

Feeling somewhat frustrated, Qin Liuxi stepped down from the carriage, with Chen Pi promptly following her.
