Chapter 18: I Am Hades (1)

The mist was peculiar, ethereal and gray, gradually intensifying before suddenly coalescing into a cluster. It then exploded with a burst of light, unleashing a force that surged through Ye Xiyao's organs and limbs like a tidal wave!

Simultaneously, a searing pain tore through her soul and body, causing Ye Xiyao to collapse onto the bed.

The pain came swiftly and dissipated just as fast. Ye Xiyao didn't dwell on it and hurriedly calmed her mind to examine her divine consciousness once more. At that moment, a flash of white light appeared before her eyes, followed by a thud, and a tiny figure materialized right in front of Ye Xiyao!

Startled, she took a closer look and discovered that standing before her was a little boy!

The young boy wasn't tall, appearing to be around six or seven years old. His features were adorably charming, especially his large, sparkling eyes that blinked mischievously. His fair, delicate face made one desire to pinch it affectionately at first glance!

What he wore was equally striking. A black fitted T-shirt hugged his upper body, topped with a matching leather studded jacket. Below, he sported a coordinating black leather pant, a metallic belt adorned with skull chains around his waist, black leather boots on his feet, and even a pair of punkish black fingerless gloves on his hands...

However, more captivating than his attire was the black regal crown resting atop his head. The crown was encrusted with vibrant gemstones all around, with a mysterious, oval-shaped, ash-gray gemstone, the size of an egg, towering at its apex.

"Who are you?" Ye Xiyao asked calmly.

Her voice was composed, but her eyes remained fixated on the little fellow without blinking. Upon hearing this, the young boy suddenly beamed proudly, folded his arms, lifted his chin, and replied with a pompous air:

"Are you asking for this young master's name?"

Ye Xiyao: "..."

"Very well! Considering your sincerity, I shall kindly reveal to you..."

At this point, the young prodigy deliberately paused for effect, then swiveled his body and struck a posture exuding even more arrogance that seemed to defy the heavens.

"Listen closely, my name is: Ha, Di, Si!"

Ye Xiyao: "..."

A profound silence filled the room!

"Um, who are you?" Ye Xiyao asked again.

The little darling's temper flared. With his sparkling eyes wide open, he repeated to Ye Xiyao:

"Hades! This young master's name is Hades!"

Ye Xiyao finally reacted this time. She got up from the bed and approached the young boy. Seizing the back of his collar, she marched him to the door, opened it, and then gave his bottom a swift kick, sending him flying out.

"I think you're more like a Husky!"

With that, Ye Xiyao turned and left. The young boy, whose bottom had been kicked and who had landed face-first on the ground, immediately sprang up, enraged. He bellowed with hair standing on end,

"How dare you, you damned woman! You called your Lordship a Husky? Do you know who I am? I'm Hades, Hades! Not some stupid Husky!"

The young boy was nearly driven mad by his fury. As the Dark Sovereign of the Spirit Realm, how could he be called a dog by some wretched woman? It was simply... simply... Ah, it was infuriating!

Yet, Ye Xiyao merely huffed coldly. When the little one was about to rage again, she pinched his cheeks, turning his mouth into a fish-like pout.

"Little guy, I don't know if I should die or not, but even if I did, I'd still take you with me. Go ahead, try it out."

"Yi hao xiu, yi ge ge ai you hong xingxin de nu: ren, geng ran lue gai er hong..." (Let go, you heartless woman, how dare you mistreat a child?)

"Mistreating a child? Ha... go ahead, report me!"
