    Chapter 125

However powerful, the formation was still a relic from a thousand years ago.

Impenetrable from the inside, yet easily destroyed from the outside by someone proficient in formations, especially after finding its key points.

Shen Wang spent some time studying the formation. When he finally acted, it took little effort. A flash of golden light, and the gold chain on the black Jiao's tail turned into golden specks, scattering in the air.

    The formation was broken.

The black Jiao stared at its bare tail, motionless, astonished that the formation that had confined it for thousands of years was so easily shattered.

Tentatively, it swished its tail tip, even stretching beyond the pool, and the detestable chain did not reappear.

Tears glistened in the black Jiao's deep black eyes as it let out a triumphant howl, joyfully soaring through the cave, exuding a sense of liberation and exhilaration.

"I am free! I am free! I am finally free!"

Sensing trouble, Shen Wang quickly said to Gu Dongting, "Don't let it leave the cave in this form!"

To be safe, they had signed a master-servant pact before disabling the formation, allowing them to control the overly excited black Jiao, now reveling in its newfound freedom.

Gu Dongting complied, restraining the black Jiao, causing it to crash to the ground with a thunderous impact.

The black Jiao's fevered brain cooled down a bit, realizing that though it lost the physical chains on its tail, its soul was now bound by an invisible shackle.

The black Jiao glanced at Shen Wang and Gu Dongting, contemplating whether to risk severe injury to kill these two humans and gain absolute freedom.

Just as the thought crossed its mind, the black Jiao screamed in agony, "It hurts! It hurts!"

Its long body coiled in pain, suffering intense heartache, questioning its very existence.

Shen Wang squatted beside it, gloating, "What were you thinking just now? Surely not about betraying your master... You've offered your heart's blood for the pact. If Dongting dies, your vitality will be greatly damaged. And if you think of betraying him, you won't survive either."

At this moment, Shen Wang appreciated his foresight.

Indeed, having a backup plan is essential for survival.

The black Jiao's struggles gradually ceased. It glared resentfully at Shen Wang, gasping laboriously, "Hmph, mere humans, with only a few thousand years of life. I can wait with my tens of thousands of years!"

Unperturbed by its defiance, Shen Wang patted its head, reluctantly stroking its fine skin, asking, "Can you transform into a human form?"

After a few seconds of silence, the black Jiao's massive body shrank dramatically, eventually turning into a young man in a black robe, strikingly handsome and exuding an imposing aura.

Shen Wang examined the black Jiao's ancient black garb, then Gu Dongting's white traditional clothing, going back and forth several times before snidely remarking, "In modern society, you can't go around dressed like this. You need to wear clothes appropriate for the times, understand?"

The black Jiao, unfamiliar with modern clothing, replied impatiently, "I haven't seen the clothes you're talking about. How am I supposed to change?"

Shen Wang pointed to his own white T-shirt, "Just transform to look like me."

The black Jiao, grumbling, transformed his ancient black robe into a black T-shirt identical to Shen Wang's, complete with matching pants and shoes, albeit all in black.

Satisfied, Shen Wang nodded, "When you're outside, remember to hide your identity. If people find out you're the last Jiao, they might attack you, wanting your skin and bones. I won't be able to save you."

Gu Dongting watched their interaction, his brow involuntarily furrowing.

Both men were exceptionally handsome, wearing identical styles in different colors, resembling either a brotherly or a couple's attire.

Gu Dongting wanted to say something, opening his mouth several times, but in the end, he remained silent.

The black Jiao, being taught about life by Shen Wang, quietly observed Gu Dongting, his gaze filled with confusion.

After forming the master-servant pact, they could faintly sense each other's thoughts. The black Jiao felt that Gu Dongting was internally conflicted, his emotions a mix of sourness and bitterness.

Irritated by these unfamiliar sensations, the black Jiao, who had never experienced such feelings, bluntly said, "Gu Dongting, you can block your emotions from me."

Gu Dongting was startled, his mind suddenly clearing of all tumult.

Following the black Jiao's suggestion, Gu Dongting blocked his emotional perception from the black Jiao. Although the Jiao couldn't block its own thoughts from Gu Dongting, it was Gu Dongting's choice not to receive them.

But it didn't matter to the Jiao; it was simply annoyed by Gu Dongting's emotions and didn't care if its own were perceived by others.

After teaching the two ancient demon creatures many basics, Shen Wang collected some of the water from the pool into his Xumi space and also transported the Ninefold Lotus itself into the space.

After a period of nurturing with spiritual energy, the amount of fertile soil in Shen Wang's Xumi space had significantly increased, now amounting to a handful. The introduction of the Ninefold Lotus's spiritual pool water further enhanced the soil slightly.

The Ninefold Lotus, having signed a master-servant pact with Shen Wang, felt no discomfort entering the space. Instead, it thrived in the abundant spiritual energy and rare fertile soil, feeling delighted.

It found an ideal spot to root itself and buried its base, fully blooming. The flower branches and leaves swayed without wind, visibly exuding happiness.

Seeing this, the black Jiao commented sourly, "Little flower, is such a small, shabby place really that comfortable?"

The Ninefold Lotus stiffened, then coquettishly replied, "Being by your side is the most comfortable."

At this single phrase, the black Jiao's face lit up with joy, forgetting any hint of jealousy.

Shen Wang sized them up, pondering soulfully: Could they be another gay couple?

But wait, isn't the Ninefold Lotus monoecious? Is this little flower male or female?

He voiced his thoughts, and the little flower's petals trembled as it said, "I don't know. I haven't matured yet, so I don't have a gender."

    Shen Wang: "......"

Turns out it's just an underage flower. What a sin.

Having settled everything, as they prepared to leave, Shen Wang couldn't part with the spiritual water in the pool, imbued with the Ninefold Lotus's essence. After some thought, he bit the bullet and transferred all the water into his Xumi space.

This turned the small Xumi space into a full pool of water.

Facing the black Jiao's curious gaze, Shen Wang justified proudly, "Anyway, this water would quickly lose its spiritual energy without the Ninefold Lotus. Better for me to take it."

This outing proved extremely fruitful. Not only did they acquire various complete cultivation methods greatly beneficial for the metaphysical world, but they also encountered the believed-to-be-extinct black Jiao and Ninefold Lotus.

Content and pleased, Shen Wang shared the spoils with Gu Dongting, "Dongting, now that you have your own personal bodyguard, I feel much more at ease."

Gu Dongting was taken aback. He had always thought that Shen Wang chose the Ninefold Lotus for its value as a spiritual plant. He didn't realize that giving him the black Jiao was out of concern.

"I... What do I have to worry about?" Gu Dongting felt a warmth in his heart, touched and slightly amused. If he had known Shen Wang's reason for making him sign the pact with the black Jiao, he would have never agreed.

After all, he had the Gu family and the special department behind him.

Whereas Shen Wang, despite possessing countless treasures, lacked such support and was the one who actually needed protection.

Shen Wang just smiled, jokingly saying, "Better safe than sorry, right?"

The two returned to the valley where the group had gathered.

Over a day's time, the number of captured rogue cultivators had significantly increased. The team had been busy preparing food and arranging accommodations for the victims, working tirelessly. Only when their tasks were completed did they realize that Shen Wang and Gu Dongting had not yet returned.

Knowing the duo's strength, the group was still concerned due to being in a foreign land. They were discussing whether to send out a search party when Shen Wang and Gu Dongting finally arrived.

As soon as Shen Wang and Gu Dongting entered the valley, they were surrounded by the cultivators who had come with them.

"Gu Dongting, Shen Wang, where have you been? Did you encounter any trouble?" This was the straightforward body cultivator Xia Ye.

"Glad to see you're safe, Brother Gu, Brother Shen," said the gentle-natured pill cultivator Bai Qingxing.

"Who is this person?" asked the observant and cautious Jiushou Daoist.

Shen Wang hadn't expected them to worry about him. Scratching his head, he replied, "Nothing much, just raided the cult's treasury and got some good stuff. You'll find out later."

"As for him... His name is Cong Zhuo, a victim who was betrayed and imprisoned by Ye Qingrong. I rescued him along the way."

Hearing this, the initially wary group looked at the black Jiao with sympathy, "So, he wanted to turn you into a ghost king too?"

"Despicable Ye Qingrong... Don't worry, you're safe now. Ye Qingrong has been captured."

The black Jiao, forcibly educated and warned not to harm humans, still found it uncomfortable facing so many. Managing a stiff smile and suppressing the urge to send everyone flying, he said, "Greetings to all fellow daoists."

"After their initial worries, the group, not being gossipy, exchanged a few words and then quickly dispersed to rest."

"Due to the shortage of rooms, they piled all the captives outside, leaving the remaining rooms for the victims to squeeze into. The cultivators simply found convenient places to sit cross-legged and meditate."

"Shen Wang and Gu Dongting squeezed into a space together, each focusing on their cultivation."

"The black dragon by their side watched them, letting Shen Wang release the Nine-Layered Lotus while it held a palm-sized flower, finding a spot to whisper among themselves."

"The next day, officials arrived to take over. They would handle the victims, ensuring their safe return home, and the complicit individuals would receive their due punishment."

"Having successfully completed their mission, Shen Wang and his group, with Ye Qingrong and several key members of the cult in tow, flew back to the imperial capital on Gu Dongting's private plane."

"Aboard the plane, the black dragon was full of wonder. Touching the leather seat beneath it, it quietly remarked to Shen Wang, 'How can this thing fly without being a magical instrument or having any spiritual energy?'"

"Shen Wang smiled, 'This is the crystallization of humanity's great wisdom... In this age of declining magic and mystique, life must go on.'"

"'As long as there's a will to live, one can always find a way to survive.'"

"The black dragon sighed, 'Now I understand why humans, seemingly so weak, have endured longer than us magical beasts.'"

"The power of magical beasts is indeed formidable, but this very strength often prevents them from exploring other paths."

"When great changes come, those magical beasts unwilling to adapt have only one fate: death. In contrast, fragile humans, in their quest for survival, seize every opportunity for life."

"Whether in the era of abundant spiritual energy thousands of years ago or in today's age of decline."

"Upon arriving in the imperial capital and seeing the bustling streets, towering skyscrapers, smooth roads, and the ceaseless flow of cars..."

"The black dragon's eyes darted everywhere, overwhelmed, and the Nine-Layered Lotus hidden in its chest gaped in awe."

"They looked like two country bumpkins."

"Shen Wang had no time to tease them, as he was busy accompanying Gu Dongting to report their mission. He instructed them not to wander off before leaving with Gu Dongting."

"Shen Wang and Gu Dongting concealed the details about the black dragon and the Nine-Layered Lotus, but reported everything else truthfully, with Gu Dongting even presenting various techniques found in the treasury."

Capturing the leader of the Samui Cult was already a great achievement, and now with so many cultivation methods, it was even more remarkable.

The leader in charge was both shocked and elated, eagerly flipping through the methods: "Excellent! This is just fantastic!"

"With these, the strength of our metaphysical community can advance even further!"

"Next time in the international competition, we won't have to rely solely on you."

Seeing the leader so excitedly praising, Shen Wang felt a subtle sense of pride. He winked at Gu Dongting, mouthing, "Brother Gu, truly impressive."

Gu Dongting glanced at him, then quickly at the oblivious leader, mouthing back, "Likewise."

Their playful exchange in front of the leader was akin to students whispering behind a teacher's back, filled with childish joy.

Once the leader calmed down, he cleared his throat, regaining his composure, "Although we've captured Ye Qingrong, the matter is far from over."

"We don't know if they have other strongholds, and the identity of their inside agents in the metaphysical community remains unknown," he said, frowning. "Interrogate those we've brought back, try to uncover the identity of the insider."

Gu Dongting nodded solemnly, and he and Shen Wang left the leader's office.

As the door closed, Shen Wang noticed the leader holding the cultivation books with a goofy smile, clearly besotted.

Shen Wang commented, "Your leader is quite... approachable."

Gu Dongting chuckled, "Indeed, he might be a bit too straightforward, but he's a good person, wholly dedicated to the development of the metaphysical community, always thinking about how to improve the lives of ordinary people..."

Such a person naturally commanded Shen Wang's respect.

They sent the core members of the Samui Cult for interrogation. With everyone working tirelessly, they finally obtained detailed information on the cult.

"Cult leader Ye Qingrong, somehow acquiring numerous inheritances, used these methods to attract cultivators discontented with the metaphysical community. With this foundation, he established the Samui Cult."

"This cult practices dark arts, believing that with the dissipation of spiritual energy and the death of the Great Way, it's time for dark cultivators to rise. They disregard the lives of ordinary people, treating them as expendable, believing that sacrificing themselves for the dark cultivators' world domination is their greatest honor."

"They firmly believe that once their leader overthrows the righteous path, they will rise to the top and become the elite of a new world..."

Shi Yan, reading the interrogation results with furrowed brows, couldn't help but comment, "With this mindset, they dared to harm so many lives. Imagine the chaos if they ever became the so-called 'elite'."

"The main issue is, did they overlook modern high-tech weapons? No matter how skilled in martial arts or advanced in the Foundation Building stage, how will they dodge a mortar shell?"

"They are like frogs in a well, content in their ignorance, only willing to see what they want to see."

After his rant, Shi Yan continued reading, "The core members include: cult leader Ye Qingrong, elder Lin Qinshu, Qiu Zesheng, protector Wen Bai, Jiang Qirong, Yin Ran..."

"And the Son and Daughter of the cult, Song Yixing and Wu Ai."

"Among these, only Ye Qingrong, Lin Qinshu, Wen Bai, and Song Yixing have been captured. Oh, and one Daughter of the cult, Wu Ai, too."

"The rest, Qiu Zesheng, Jiang Qirong, and Yin Ran, remain at large."

After going through all the known information, Shi Yan looked around at his colleagues, "Currently, our authorities have officially listed the Samui Cult as a heretical organization. We've initiated anti-fraud efforts at the grassroots level and had the police sketch and circulate wanted posters. These individuals are all top-level fugitives."

"Information leading to their capture will be rewarded with one million."

Overhearing this figure, Shen Wang's eyes widened in surprise, contemplating whether he should try his luck hunting for these fugitives to claim the reward.

Finally, Shi Yan concluded, "I've had professional Daoists occupy online forums to influence public opinion, which has been somewhat effective. We can also use them to educate the public about the Samui Cult's actions, raising awareness and warning against blind faith in such cults."

This is to prevent those fugitives still at large, unwilling to accept the cult's downfall, from rebranding and making a comeback.

With that, a firm decision was made regarding the Samui Cult.

Defined as a heretical organization by the authorities, all those captured will face the strictest sentencing of life imprisonment or death penalty. As for the cultivators, their cultivation will be destroyed before being subjected to trial.

As for those still on the run, they are being pursued with full force and substantial rewards are being offered for their capture.

The only problem lies with the insider in the metaphysical community, who seems to have been in direct contact with Ye Qingrong. However, Ye Qingrong's cultivation was destroyed by Gu Dongting, who also placed sword energy within him, subjecting him to constant excruciating pain.

Under such torment, Ye Qingrong could only say, "I don't know who the person contacting me is. I only know that sometimes he needs me to handle certain people for him... to do some unsavory tasks."

The situation seemed to have reached a deadlock.

During the meeting, someone expressed their frustration: "So what's the situation now? That insider is hiding too well..."

"We can't seem to catch them."

Shen Wang, however, had a different perspective: "He might not know exactly who the other party is, but it's impossible that he has no clues at all. He just doesn't want to say."

Shen Wang's comment drew everyone's attention: "Shen, do you have any ideas?"

After pondering for a moment, Shen Wang asked an apparently irrelevant question: "What about the cult's 'Daughter,' Wu Ai? How is she now?"

Someone replied, "She's still detained. She seemed to have had a mental breakdown after learning that her cult leader was captured."

Shen Wang nodded, sharing his view: "The 'Son' and 'Daughter' were orphans raised by the cult leader... I don't believe his luck is that good, to randomly find two orphans with both cultivation talent and decent aptitude."

"Investigate the backgrounds of the 'Son' and 'Daughter'..."

The others quickly grasped Shen Wang's implication, their eyes lighting up: "If we find something detrimental to the cult leader, we might find a breakthrough with these two young people."

Compared to those rigid, older elders and protectors, these two young individuals might be easier to break through.

Shen Wang revealed a smile: "A teachable moment indeed."

After the brief meeting, everyone quickly received their assignments and left within seconds, bustling off to their respective tasks.

Left alone in the conference room, Shen Wang and Gu Dongting exchanged a glance and chuckled together: "Truly a group of young people with remarkable initiative."

The young members of the special department, with their astounding efficiency, swiftly found the information they sought in the extensive list of victims associated with the Samuiyi Cult.

As Shen Wang had predicted, they were not naturally orphans.

Like her initial capture, Wu Ai sat in the interrogation room while Shen Wang and others observed from behind one-way glass. Days without proper care had taken their toll on Wu Ai, who no longer bothered with her previously pitiable facade.

This time, the special department's staff cut straight to the chase: "Wu Ai, you said you were an orphan. Have you ever been curious about your biological parents?"

Wu Ai listlessly gazed at her fingers: "No, when they abandoned me, I lost all connection to them."

The staff member sneered and slid a file across the table: "Do you really believe you were abandoned by your parents?"

Wu Ai was startled, her eyes widening in fear as she stared at the folder, her expression blank.

As a child, Wu Ai had harbored curiosity about her biological parents, but the cult leader had always insisted they had abandoned her, breeding only hatred in her heart for those strangers.

    But now...

Wu Ai's fingers trembled almost imperceptibly as she slowly opened the folder, greeted by two ID photos of a tall man and a petite woman, both radiating happiness.

Wu Ai recognized that she bore an uncanny resemblance to the woman, an undeniable likeness that left no room for denial of her parentage.

Reading on, she learned of her parents' love story – a chance meeting leading to a quick marriage, a cherished daughter, a simple yet blissful life, filled with love and daily strolls in the park with their baby carriage.

"What happened next? Why did I end up an orphan?" Wu Ai turned the page, and the tranquil happiness of the family of three was abruptly shattered.

A year after their daughter's birth, they decided to travel abroad and chose Southeast Asia based on a friend's recommendation, not wanting to venture too far.

No further details followed, just a few terse lines of text.

[The cult leader noticed the baby girl's potential and took her back to the holy cult.]

As for the couple... Wu Ai recalled the cult's modus operandi and didn't need to think hard to guess their fate.

After allowing her time to process, the staff member spoke: "Now, are you still willing to conceal the truth for your cult leader?"

Wu Ai's face turned icy cold. She only realized she was crying when the words on the document began to blur with her tears.

Sobbing silently, filled with regret, she offered: "What do you want to know? I... I'll tell you everything."

The staff member smiled with satisfaction: "Does the Samuiyi Cult have other bases?"

"Yes," Wu Ai answered numbly, tears streaming, her remaining consciousness barely holding on, "In..."

"Do you know who from the mystical world was in contact with Ye Qingrong?"

"I don't know. They were very cautious, never showing their face... I only know they might be from Baiyun Temple."

Baiyun Temple! The observers were shocked, never expecting the first major sect of the mystical world to be involved.

However, with this lead, further investigation would be much easier.

They would not wrong a good person, but also not let any culprit escape.

The team interrogated Wu Ai ruthlessly, devoid of any compassion, as she cried uncontrollably. In the observation room, someone even muttered, "She deserves it."

"When the knife is on oneself, the pain is felt keenly. Why don't they think about the innocents? Each one had a family, was someone's child, parent, sibling, someone's love and friend..."

"Letting such people feel the agony of heart-piercing pain is the best revenge on them."

The other young male, who was also a 'Chosen Child' like Wu Ai, suffered a similar fate. Noticed for his talent, his parents were killed by the cult leader, leaving him an 'orphan'.

After learning the truth, the Chosen Child, Song Yixing, also collapsed. He answered everything asked, no longer covering up for the Samuiyi Cult. He aged a decade in spirit and almost succumbed to madness.

From his revelations, the name Baiyun Temple also emerged.

Although they had a lead, it was too vague for immediate action. They could only covertly investigate, holding back until concrete evidence was in hand to avoid startling the suspects.

With the Samuiyi Cult issue resolved, the previously halted mystical arts competition was reignited, scheduled for three days later at Baiyun Temple's martial arts field for the finals.

The finals were a straightforward and brutal fight.

The first round was a battle royale with a hundred participants, with the last twenty standing deemed the winners. These twenty would then engage in 1-on-1 fights to determine the final rankings.

This time, the competition was conducted much more formally.

As a contestant, Shen Wang raised an eyebrow upon seeing the notification with 'Baiyun Temple' and turned to Gu Dongting: "Do you plan to do something during this event?"

Gu Dongting nodded: "It's a rare opportunity."

Normally, accessing these sects required high visibility. Investigating covertly was difficult without causing suspicion. Now, with the focus on the competition, it was the perfect chance to investigate discreetly.

    Why not seize the chance?

Shen Wang concurred with the plan.

Since both had acquired mystical pets, and Black Jiao was in human form, staying at the Gu family residence was inconvenient. Gu Dongting thus bought a villa and moved in with Shen Wang.

Shen Wang, happy to avoid staying in a hotel, eagerly followed, relishing the new living arrangement with his close friend.

"Gu Dongting's villa was bought in a rush, and before we entered, he mentioned, 'I haven't had time to tidy up, it's a bit messy.'"

"I don't mind," Shen Wang replied nonchalantly.

Once inside, Shen Wang was almost moved to tears. The villa was elegantly simple, fully furnished and ready to move in. Gu Dongting's idea of messy was just an unpacked suitcase in a corner of the living room.

"Being rich is great. To just buy a villa so big and beautiful... I truly understand now, with money, you really can do whatever you want."

"If you're not happy, it's probably because you don't have enough money."

The spacious villa had plenty of rooms. Shen Wang and Gu Dongting chose adjacent rooms on the second floor, while Black Jiao, Congzhuo, chose a room on the first floor near the backyard pond.

This arrangement allowed for privacy and no disturbance.

A few days later, at the Mystical Arts Competition finals, Gu Dongting served as a judge and Shen Wang as a contestant. Wary of leaving Black Jiao alone, they took him along.

The trio, along with Jiuchonglian hidden on Black Jiao, arrived neatly at the venue.

During the first round, the hundred-person battle, no one dared to provoke Shen Wang. He leaned against the railing, looking as if a slight push could topple him out of the ring.

Still, nobody dared to engage with him.

"Being invincible is really lonely," Shen Wang lamented.

It was like now, where others were brawling and he felt like an accidental spectator, devoid of any real experience.

Below the competition area, Black Jiao heard Shen Wang's comment. His mouth twitched as he muttered under his breath, "With these human cultivators, none of them are strong. If he can't beat them, would he have any face left?"

Jiuchonglian's faint voice chimed in, "These cultivators don't seem very powerful... Compared to them, my master is indeed a bit stronger."

Black Jiao's expression darkened, "Why do you call him master? You have no backbone. It's just a temporary arrangement. He doesn't deserve to be called your master... Learn from me, just call him by his name."

Jiuchonglian replied timidly, "I'm scared of him... I don't dare."

Black Jiao's expression shifted from frustration to resolve, "I've got your back, why are you so timid?"

Jiuchonglian remained silent, feeling an innate fear around Shen Wang, as if he could refine Jiuchonglian at any moment - a terrifying thought.

Jiuchonglian didn't realize that this fear stemmed from the aura of Dan Fire that Shen Wang retained from refining various spiritual plants.

This Dan Fire aura lingered in Shen Wang's soul and was faintly perceivable to Jiuchonglian due to their master-servant contract.

The first round of the hundred-person battle ended quickly, and the last twenty contestants, as expected, were mostly the seeded players.

Shen Wang, Bo Yu, Wushu, Chou Yin, Dao Chunyan, Lin Leliu... and there were Tang Jiu and Gu Manting too.

Seeing Tang Jiu and Gu Manting's names, Shen Wang's first thought was annoyance at their persistent presence.

He mused about the resilience of these 'children of fortune' and tossed the advancement list aside in irritation.

Gu Dongting noticed Shen Wang's barely contained anger. Being a judge, he couldn't leave his post but sent a concerned look towards Shen Wang.

Black Jiao hurried to Shen Wang's side and teased, "What's wrong? You seem upset?"

Shen Wang grunted, "Saw my arch-enemies... Hope I get to face them later."

As Shen Wang glanced at Tang Jiu, Tang Jiu noticed him too. He gave Shen Wang a venomous look and quickly averted his gaze when others weren't looking.

Shen Wang was left feeling like a snake's target, the creepiness lingering uncomfortably.

"Want me to kill him for you?" Black Jiao was eager.

"I'd like that, but I'm afraid you can't kill him without risking yourself," Shen Wang scoffed. "Unlike you, he won't spare your valuable skin and flesh."

Black Jiao gave Tang Jiu a serious look and then burst into laughter, "Him? Really?"

As Shen Wang idly chatted with Black Jiao, his next opponent was announced: Chou Yin.

As expected, Shen Wang quickly finished the fight within minutes.

As the competition progressed, the opponents' strength increased, but regardless of who Shen Wang faced, he decisively ended each battle in a matter of minutes.

The audience's attention was riveted on Shen Wang, filled with excitement: "Bro Shen! Bro Shen is awesome!"

The chubby fan was jumping around, waving a banner to cheer for Shen Wang, his voice hoarse from shouting: "Shen Wang, Shen Wang, supremely arrogant; strong and powerful, destined to be the champion!"

His enthusiasm was contagious, igniting the entire crowd, who joined in the chant.

"Shen Wang, Shen Wang, supremely arrogant; strong and powerful, destined to be the champion! Go, Brother Shen! Roar! Roar!"

The unified cheers of the crowd transformed the solemn competition into a spectacle seemingly dedicated to showcasing Shen Wang's brilliance.

    Shen Wang: "......"

Black Jiao, puzzled: "With your personality, I'm surprised at your popularity... that's the right term, popularity, right?"

Shen Wang: "......I gave you a smartphone to learn about modern life, not for browsing random stuff."

Before Black Jiao could retort, Shen Wang received the name of his next opponent.

Seeing the name, Shen Wang burst into laughter: "Even the darling of fortune, the child of destiny, has his bad days..."

To his delight, he was matched against Tang Jiu.

Gu Dongting wanted to say something, opening his mouth several times, but in the end, he remained silent.

Shen Wang and Gu Dongting are sooo cuutte, buuut…
Please remember that communication im a relationship is so important, just saying ’cause this is the nth time he wanted something to say but chose to keep silent.

It’s not good to keep it, and this habit of his worries me that IF they fight, Gu Dongting will just resort to the “silent treatment” 😞😞😞
Ignoring Shen Wang until he(SW) threatens something drastic just so he(GD) will finally pay attention to him

      (spoken from definitely NO experience)

The staff member smiled with satisfaction: “Does the Samuiyi Cult have other bases?”

      I’m getting tired of this cult’s name😩😩😩
First, Samui, then Samu Yi, then Samuyi, and now Samuiyi, sigh

    Note
