Chapter 1
by[Time-Travel and Rebirth] "Festive Elegance (Dual Rebirth) / The Obsessive Crown Prince Was My Ex-Husband (Rebirth)" by August in Summer - "Completed + Extras"
Synopsis:
When Rong Shu married Gu Changjin, she was unaware of his affections for another. Nor did she know that her mother had coerced Gu Changjin's beloved into marrying far away in Su Prefecture to fulfill her own wishes.
Three years into their marriage, Gu Changjin was discovered by the current Empress and became the Crown Prince. Meanwhile, the Rong family fell from grace, their titles revoked, and they were exiled to Su Prefecture.
Rong Shu sought out Gu Changjin in the middle of the night, only to be imprisoned in a detached residence. After assuming the position in the Eastern Palace, he promptly journeyed to Su Prefecture to retrieve his recently divorced sweetheart.
It dawned on Rong Shu that everything had been deliberate. Three years of neglect had made it clear that Gu Changjin held hatred for her.
Drinking the poisonous wine delivered by the Empress, Rong Shu smiled at him as he returned, saying, "I blame myself for provoking you back then. Now, I return the position of my lawful wife to her. I only beg Your Highness to show mercy and allow my mother to enjoy her remaining years in peace."
Opening her eyes once more, Rong Shu found herself back on the first day after her marriage to Gu Changjin.
Gazing at the handsome man lying beside her, her heart was as still as a lake. She pondered how to bring his beloved back to the capital, divorce him, and part ways, never to cross paths again.
Copywriting Two:
The newly crowned scholar, Gu Changjin, was as graceful as a orchid and as handsome as Pan An. Despite his humble origins, his exceptional talent and captivating appearance caught the eye of Duke Cheng'an, who then married his noble eldest daughter, Rong Shu, to him.
It was widely acknowledged that Gu Changjin was blessed with extraordinary fortune, yet unforeseen by all, this golden couple, within less than a year of their matrimonial union, had chosen to part ways through divorce.
Yet, the most astonishing turn of events was that, before long, Gu Changjin unexpectedly transformed into the Eastern Palace Crown Prince.
In the capital, noble ladies all lamented Rong Shu's unfortunate fate. Not only did she lose her position as the crown princess, but she also offended the future emperor. How would she manage to survive in the days to come?
Back then, no one could have imagined that the noble and aloof crown prince would one day stand at the gate of the marquis's residence, his eyes reddened in the midst of a swirling snowfall, begging to take Rong Shu as his wife.
Reading Guide:
1. + This is not a story with scum or mean characters. The male lead has liked the female lead in both his lifetimes, and the heroine's family was not ruined because of him. Similar to the previous book, it involves political intrigue, with many supporting characters, and develops gradually with a highly fictional setting.
2. + It can be considered a dual rebirth story. The male lead recovers his memories from his past life bit by bit, while the female lead genuinely dislikes the male lead after her rebirth.
3. + It's a "husband-chasing funeral pyre" trope, meaning the male lead will go through great lengths to win back the female lead, without switching love interests. I declare a flag: you will accept the male lead before the female lead does after her rebirth, QAQ.
4. Lastly, the author of this novel possesses the bloodline of verbal enchantment. Legitimate readers are encouraged to provide feedback, but please refrain from attacking the author, as it might awaken the author's bloodline powers. Proceed with caution!

Chapter 1
Yesterday, half the night was drenched with rain on Mount Ci'en, causing a blanket of red maple leaves to fall in the Sishi Garden.
Rong Shu pushed open the window, revealing a drizzle outside. The thousand branches of the maple forest on the mountain were soaked in a unique shade of red by the rain. From afar, it seemed like a vivid flame burning amidst the autumn showers.
Today was the eighth day of the ninth month in Jiaoyu's twenty-third year. It had been precisely two months since she was confined to the Sishi Garden.
Ying Que entered the room carrying a cup of osmanthus-infused water. She saw Rong Shu with her jet-black hair flowing loosely, dressed only in a single garment as she knelt on a low couch by the window. Ying Que quickly put down the bamboo tray and exclaimed, "Aiyo, why aren't you wearing an outer robe?"
Rong Shu turned her head with a smile. "I woke up to the sound of rain and came to the window to have a look. This year's first autumn rain is indeed late."
"Miss, you've just recovered from your illness. Don't catch a chill and make yourself sick again."
As Ying Que chattered on, she efficiently attended to Rong Shu's grooming and dressing.
The girl reflected in the copper mirror looked exceptionally radiant, like a spring peach blossom, bright and dazzling. However, the recent illness had left her slightly weakened. Not only did her jawline appear sharper than before, but her waistband was also looser.
Recalling the events of the past few months, Ying Que felt a sting in her nose and almost shed tears again. In the midst of her sorrow, she heard Rong Shu say, "Later, wear the red-plum embroidered skirt with gold all over."
Ying Que lifted her gaze to see Rong Shu smiling in the mirror, "The weather is fine, and the scenery is beautiful today. Your Miss wants to look nice."
Ying Que glanced out the window.
Outside, a tempest raged, with dark clouds congesting the sky like a heavy blanket. The pitter-patter of autumn rain dampened even the heart with melancholy.
What was so good about this gloomy weather?
It was merely her lady trying to console her.
"Very well, since our lady is beautiful, she should wear fine clothes," Ying Que forced a smile and went to fetch garments from the chest.
Outside, several carved lanterns hung along the corridor, swaying softly in the wind.
At the end of the corridor, a group of palace attendants hurried through the rain curtain. Reaching the door, they didn't bother to knock before pushing it open with a loud "bang."
The lead palace nanny carried a pot of wine. With her slender eyes, she peeked inside and caught sight of Rong Shu and Ying Que.
Startled by the abrupt sound of the door, both women looked up simultaneously.
