Chapter 119 Heating Up
by 薄小冉Chapter 119: The Temperature Rises
It was only then that Yan Zhoubai realized something was amiss. What was Zhan Jiayu planning?
“You… what are you going to do?”
The air was thick with mist, and Yan Zhoubai’s eyes seemed to hold a hint of dampness, his voice trembling slightly.
Through the hazy steam, Yan Zhoubai thought he saw Zhan Jiayu’s lips curl into a faint smile. Then, he heard Zhan Jiayu’s deep voice whisper in his ear:
“Aren’t we here for a couple’s hot spring experience? What do you think I’m going to do?”
“But in the water…”
Yan Zhoubai stammered. How could they do *that* in the water?
“We can do it in the water. Didn’t they say it’s a special feature here? Didn’t you notice all the extra things prepared when we came in?”
As he spoke, Zhan Jiayu reached out and tapped the waterproof pillow beneath Yan Zhoubai’s head.
Right—when and where did Zhan Jiayu get that thing under his head?
Only then did Yan Zhoubai begin to notice the numerous shelves around the hot spring. Their design was exquisite, with an antique charm that blended seamlessly with the ancient-style spring itself, which was why he hadn't noticed them immediately.
Now he saw them. Through the hazy mist, he thought he spotted condoms, no-rinse sanitizer, and even some peculiar items he couldn’t identify. Small ones rested on the shelves, while larger ones seemed to be on the table below.
What were those things? The steam obscured his view.
“What are you looking at? Can you see clearly now?”
Zhan Jiayu released Yan Zhoubai’s hands and pulled him into a tight embrace.
With Yan Zhoubai’s legs wrapped around Zhan Jiayu’s waist, he clung to Zhan Jiayu like a koala as Zhan Jiayu held him close by the back.
“Wh-what are those things?”
Yan Zhoubai found it hard to bear Zhan Jiayu speaking so close to his ear.
The hot spring’s temperature was already high, and their bodies pressed together only intensified the heat. With Zhan Jiayu whispering directly into his ear, his warm breath fanning Yan Zhoubai’s earlobe, Yan Zhoubai felt as if he might evaporate from the heat.
Yan Zhoubai heard Zhan Jiayu let out a soft chuckle. Then, one hand released his back, while the other remained firmly around his waist. With a long reach, Zhan Jiayu plucked something from the shelf.
By the time Yan Zhoubai saw it, he already knew what it was. He struggled, trying to escape Zhan Jiayu’s embrace, but after being kissed for so long, his body felt utterly weak. Moreover, having soaked in the hot spring for a while, he felt completely softened, as if melted.
Yan Zhoubai’s feeble struggles were utterly ineffective against Zhan Jiayu. He brought the object closer to Yan Zhoubai’s eyes. “A ‘jumping egg’—do you recognize it?”
“I—I don’t recognize it. Hmph, let me go. I’m boiling hot—stop pressing against me.”
Yan Zhoubai wasn’t entirely familiar with “jumping eggs,” but as soon as Zhan Jiayu mentioned it, he immediately understood Zhan Jiayu’s intention.
“*Baby, what’s a jumping egg?*”
Just then, an innocent, mechanical voice chimed in.
“*You don’t know?*” Yan Zhoubai retorted in his mind.
“*What is it?*”
The system’s voice sounded genuinely curious, like an innocent child. Yan Zhoubai couldn’t tell if it was pretending or truly didn’t know.
Heaven knows, the system genuinely didn’t know. Its previous data had been wiped, leaving it with no memories of past hosts. But at its core, it was a career-oriented system, not one to meddle in its host’s romantic life. So, it truly had no idea.
Yan Zhoubai had no time to explain to it now. All he wanted was to get out of this hot spring.
From the moment they entered this private couple’s hot spring, Zhan Jiayu’s gaze had been clouded with intense desire—a fact Yan Zhoubai had failed to notice until now.
From carrying him down the hallway, to massaging his stomach, to removing his robe, to pinning him against the edge of the hot spring for a kiss, and finally to picking up the “jumping egg”—Zhan Jiayu’s actions had been incredibly smooth and seamless.
He had made up his mind to do this today, and no reason would stop him.
He held Yan Zhoubai tightly in his arms, as if trying to meld him into his own body, his teeth gently nipping Yan Zhoubai’s pale earlobe.
Yan Zhoubai wasn’t opposed to intimacy with Zhan Jiayu—after all, they had already bathed together. But he hadn’t expected it to happen today, under these circumstances. He wasn’t entirely prepared.
“But…” Yan Zhoubai wanted to say more.
There were no “buts.” His objections were swallowed by another kiss from Zhan Jiayu.
The temperature in the room climbed even higher.
…
Yan Zhoubai’s face and body were flushed bright red. He leaned limply against the broad chest behind him, his eyes unfocused, clearly indicating that his mind had turned to mush.
Upon closer inspection, one could see patches of deeper red marks and bite marks on his flushed skin—undoubtedly the “masterpiece” of the person behind him.
His collarbone, shoulders, wrists, and even his calves and ankles, hidden beneath the water, were all heavily marked with deep red.
“Baby…”
Sweat dripped down Zhan Jiayu’s sculpted nose. Like Yan Zhoubai, he was drenched in sweat from the heat.
But unlike Yan Zhoubai’s dazed state, Zhan Jiayu’s voice and eyes were filled with profound satisfaction, like a lion that had finally had its fill.
In the brief moments of tenderness, ripples continued to spread across the water’s surface. In the quiet space, besides their breathing, the gentle lapping of water could still be heard.
Yan Zhoubai’s thoughts had truly drifted far away. This sensation was too overwhelming for him—he no longer had the mental capacity to process what he was feeling or how to describe it.
It was the first time Zhan Jiayu had called Yan Zhoubai “baby.” Yan Zhoubai’s mind was too foggy to react, and for a moment, he thought it was the system calling him. He replied to it in his mind.
But the system, which never failed to respond and never let any of Yan Zhoubai’s words go unanswered, remained silent.
“Xiao Chuaner?”
Seeing that Yan Zhoubai wasn’t responding, Zhan Jiayu called out again.
“Mmm…”
Hearing the name “Xiao Chuaner,” Yan Zhoubai finally reacted slightly. He shifted his body, as if trying to turn around to look at Zhan Jiayu behind him.
Their current position had Zhan Jiayu sitting against the edge of the hot spring, with Yan Zhoubai entirely seated on him—or rather, nestled into him.
Zhan Jiayu wanted to be in the water, but he couldn’t bear to have Yan Zhoubai pressed against the hot spring wall. Even with something cushioning him, he knew it would be uncomfortable, so he held Yan Zhoubai in his arms.
But as soon as Yan Zhoubai moved, he immediately became aware of an even more intense sensation.
“Baby, don’t move…” Zhan Jiayu suddenly gasped sharply.
Yan Zhoubai’s mind started to clear a little. He licked his dry lips: “Alright, I want to leave now…”
He wanted it to end; he felt it was enough already. He couldn’t take any more.
“Not yet. Let’s stay like this a bit longer, okay? Be good.”
Zhan Jiayu was unwilling to let him go so easily. Having finally gotten a taste, he wanted to get his fill. Besides, this was their first time, and he wanted to leave a deep impression on Yan Zhoubai.
“Mmm, no more… Please, no more, okay?”
Hearing that Zhan Jiayu wasn’t ready to stop, Yan Zhoubai’s voice was already trembling with tears.
“Baby, don’t cry. It’ll be over before you know it.”
Zhan Jiayu kissed Yan Zhoubai’s cheek and held his hand, lacing their fingers together to comfort him.
…
Yan Zhoubai couldn’t remember how he got back to the hotel room. By the time he woke up again, it was already past ten in the morning.
Struggling, Yan Zhoubai emerged from the soft white cotton quilt. His hair was completely messed up from last night, with two stubborn cowlicks sticking up. Paired with his sleepy, half-awake eyes and flushed little face, it was enough to melt anyone’s heart.
An adorable little kitten—one just wanted to kiss him silly.
That’s what Zhan Jiayu thought, and that’s exactly what he did. So, the moment Yan Zhoubai woke up, still disoriented, Zhan Jiayu pulled him into another round of kisses.
Those kisses finally brought Yan Zhoubai fully awake, and he remembered what had happened the night before.
The memory made him feel a pang of resentment toward Zhan Jiayu. He pushed him away with some force.
“Don’t kiss me,” Yan Zhoubai glared at him.
Did Zhan Jiayu think he’d forgotten all about his misdeeds from last night? He had clearly said to stop, even called him “husband,” and begged him, but Zhan Jiayu just wouldn’t quit. How could someone be like that—like a ravenous wild dog?
Last night, it had felt like Zhan Jiayu was trying to break him apart. Even now, his body still felt…
Huh? Yan Zhoubai was surprised to find that his body didn’t seem to be feeling any discomfort. How was that possible?
“Alright, alright, it’s all my fault. I won’t do it like that next time.”
A well-fed lion was in a good mood and was willing to indulge the little kitten’s every word.
“You think there’s going to be a next time? Hmph, no way. And I’m not playing with you today—I’m going to find Sister Qi Hua.”
Yan Zhoubai was sulking. If he let Zhan Jiayu off so easily this time, what would his status be in the future? Wouldn’t he just be at Zhan Jiayu’s mercy, letting him mold and shape him in bed?
No, no, absolutely not.
“Sister Qi Hua, does Yan Zhoubai not remember what he promised me last night?”
For once, Zhan Jiayu didn’t bat an eye upon hearing Lin Qihua’s name from Yan Zhoubai’s mouth. Instead, a smirk even tugged at his lips.
“The rope…” Zhan Jiayu reminded him.
At those two words, it was as if a key had suddenly unlocked a floodgate in Yan Zhoubai’s mind. His expression instantly changed.
