"Go on, get out of here. You're distracting me from studying!"

He Zixuan spent two days in the hospital on an IV before he fully recovered.

"I've liked you for three years. I'm not even a real man anymore because of you. I can forgive you for leaving me to die. Will you be with me?"

He Zixuan looked at him with disgust,

"I don't understand what you're saying. I never asked you to do anything. I don't like you, and we can't be together. The person I like is Yan Bai."

Lin Yizhou burst into uncontrollable laughter, the sound filled with despair and hysteria,

"You're still putting on an act even now. If you like Yan Bai, why did you cheat again and again?

Do you think I don't know exactly what you are?

"You're so filthy, you only deserve someone as filthy as me!"

Lin Yizhou lunged at him, trying to kiss him. He Zixuan, caught completely off guard, didn't have time to react.

He felt a sharp pain on his lips. He Zixuan, reacting a beat too late, shoved him away, wiping his mouth in disgust. There was blood on his hand. He Zixuan burned with anger and humiliation.

"Are you insane? You actually bit me!"

He Zixuan glared at him viciously, not a trace of warmth in his expression.

"Madman! Don't you ever come near me again!"

After saying this, He Zixuan turned and left. Lin Yizhou's face, however, twisted into a sinister, triumphant smile.

He absolutely would not tell He Zixuan now, giving him a chance to use post-exposure prophylaxis. He wanted He Zixuan to experience the same agony he was in, after some time had passed.

Hadn't he already bitten He Zixuan? He'd most likely infected him.

Lin Yizhou had just stood up when he was grabbed by several people—the Lin family's bodyguards, who had come for him.

Lin Yizhou's father had only learned about his condition today and felt utterly humiliated.

Fearing the news would leak and damage the Lin family's reputation, he sent people to seize Lin Yizhou on the spot, then confined him to a separate residence.
