Yan Bai looked up at him with wide eyes, shining like stars, full of anticipation and asked:

"Is it sweet?"

Luo Shuisheng nodded. Though his mouth was sweet, his heart felt inexplicably sour. He spoke with some difficulty,

"Sweet."

Yan Bai smiled, his smile sweeter than honey, and pulled a handful of fruit candies from his pocket, stuffing them into Luo Shuisheng's jacket pocket.

"If you like them, have more. Sharing doubles the joy."

Sharing? That was a novel concept.

He self-consciously covered his pocket and after a moment said:

"Thank you. Do you like braised rabbit?"

"I quite like it."

Luo Shuisheng nodded and said nothing more, simply following behind Yan Bai.

Yan Bai was puzzled but didn't dwell on it. Just then, Nine-Tails informed him:

"Gu Xiangdong has already picked up the package and returned to the ox cart.

It was very heavy, and it took him a great deal of effort. The post office is quite far from the ox cart.

Yan Bai raised an eyebrow. Their current location was quite close to the ox cart. Thinking that the villain's younger brother must be suffering and Luo Shuisheng surely wanted to get him medicine as soon as possible, Yan Bai didn't delay any further and led him to the ox cart.

"A fox judging people? I think you're just sour grapes talking.
