Leng Xiyue never expected Gong Xinyi to actually be hanging the children's socks!

And the socks were still dripping water, indicating they had just been washed.

As Gong Xinyi was preparing to leave, a sock fell from the clothes rack.

Seeing Leng Xiyue appear with an apron, Gong Xinyi's lips curved up slightly, "So eager to come over, worried about your secret getting out?"

"The six little monkeys, of course!" Gong Xinyi pointed at the clothesline, "No need to hide anymore, I already know your secret."

Barely holding onto the door, she trembled, "What does it matter to you if you know? They have nothing to do with you!"

"Of course, they have nothing to do with me!" Gong Xinyi chuckled. How could he possibly be related to these six monkeys?

This statement left Leng Xiyue somewhat dazed.

And somewhat incredulous.

Could it be that Gong Xinyi never suspected any connection between himself and the six children?

Or is it that even if Gong Xinyi had his doubts, he chose not to acknowledge them?

What do you mean, 'how did I come by them'?

She couldn't have heard wrong, could she? Was the father of her children actually asking her how she got the children?

"How did I come by them, don't you know?" Leng Xiyue flushed with embarrassment. How was she supposed to explain this?
