Chapter 98: Waiting for the Old Lady to Die?

Jin Yu grabbed a bunch of tissues, covering Leng Xi Yue's forehead with them, tears in her eyes.

"Xi Yue, what on earth happened? Did you have a fight with Mr. Gong? Did he become violent with you? Tell me, I’ll help you! Wherever you go, I'll take you there!"

"Thank you, Sister Jin. I'll tell you in the car; first, take us to a motel, I need to grab some clothes for the children."

Hearing this, Jin Yu was convinced that Gong Xinyi was responsible for Leng Xi Yue's injuries, angrily tossing aside her housekeeper's hat, "Screw this butler job, let's go!"

The two women and six children had just reached the villa's gate when a taxi pulled up.

Seeing Gong Xinyi get out of the cab, Jin Yu was a nervous wreck, dreading Leng Xi Yue being bullied again, and sternly warned, "Gong, you better not start anything!"

Gong Xinyi didn’t try to stop Leng Xi Yue but opened the taxi door for her, saying, "Grandma has already followed us here; quickly, get in the car!"

Leng Xi Yue had thought that Gong Xinyi would let Madame Gong meet the children and acknowledge their identity, even though she didn’t want the children to see the old lady. His words were a disappointment to her.

"Gong Xinyi, why won’t you let the old lady meet the children? Are you afraid your grandmother favors boys over girls?"

"Xi Yue!" Gong Xinyi's gaze was profound, "That’s not it. The DNA test results haven’t come in yet. No matter what I say, Grandma won’t believe the children are mine. She misunderstands you too deeply now, and I fear for you and the children’s safety. Please, stay at Jin Yu’s place for a while. Give me some time; I will sort this out."

Without another word, Leng Xi Yue immediately led the children into the taxi.

Just as the car door closed, Zhou Tian's vehicle arrived.

Madame Gong arrived at the Gong villa, supported by Zhou Tian and Zhao Lin.

Upon seeing Gong Xinyi, she immediately asked with a face full of anger, "Where's that vixen?"

"Grandma, can you not talk about her like that?" Gong Xinyi got angry as soon as he heard this.

"Are you possessed? Still defending that cheap slut!" Madame Gong raised her hand and slapped Gong Xinyi's face with a "smack."

The taxi was about to drive away when Leng Xi Yue stopped it, shocked that the old lady would hit her own grandson.

Even though she had no intention of marrying this man, seeing her children's father being bullied was not easy for her.

"Go, hurry!" Jin Yu urged the driver.

As the car drove away, Leng Xi Yue's tears fell drop by drop.

Jin Yu realized, "Xi Yue, did Madame Gong cause your injuries?"

Leng Xi Yue nodded, her voice trembling, "I've never seen such an unreasonable person! I risked my life to give birth to six children for the Gong family, and all I get called is a vixen, a cheap whore..."

"Xi Yue, don't be sad! Listen to me, that old lady is just a confused bug, old and muddled, she won't live much longer. Once she passes away, you'll be the main lady of the Gong family, and everything in the Gong family will be up to you, right?"

Waiting for the old lady to die?

Hearing this, Leng Xi Yue burst into tears.

The old lady had already been at death's door, and it was she who revived Madame Gong with the Spirit Pearl, not only reviving her but also eradicating all her ailments.

Now, Madame Gong could live another forty or fifty years without issue, perhaps even achieving immortality!

What does it mean to shoot oneself in the foot? This was it!

Fortunately, she had no plans to enter the Gong family.

"I won't enter the Gong family's door!" Leng Xi Yue said resolutely.

As fresh blood flowed from her forehead again, Jin Yu, greatly worried, grabbed some tissues to press against Leng Xi Yue's wound, hastily telling the driver, "To the hospital, hurry to the hospital!"
