After withdrawing his gaze, Sheng Ai looked at Zhou Xia, "Miss Zhou, if you have something to say, please speak."

"I don't really have anything to say..." Zhou Xia turned her face away, then decided it was pointless to drag things out and took a ticket from her handbag, handing it to Sheng Ai, "It's a movie ticket. Ning Shuai asked me to give it to you."

Sheng Ai glanced down, folded his hands under his chin, and said gently, "I don't enjoy watching movies. If Ning Shuai has any matters, he should come directly to Sheng's Trading Company to find me."

"I told him that," Zhou Xia shrugged lightly, "But he wouldn’t listen and insisted I give it to you. What can I do?"

After a moment, Zhou Xia took a sip of tea, "Ning Shuai..." She paused, her beautiful eyebrows furrowing and relaxing as if contemplating how to phrase her words, "The current situation, Mr. Sheng, you must be aware, isn’t too good. Sheng Ai smiled slightly, "I’m just a small businessman; Ning Shuai is overestimating me."

Both the Shanghai Army and the Beijing Army want to cooperate with your Sheng's Trading Company, but Ning Shuai hopes you will work with him and help transport some goods. Are you willing?"

"What kind of goods." Sheng Ai’s eyes, no longer as gentle as when dealing with Xiyang, were calm and cold.

Zhou Xia tilted her head slightly, "Medicine and..."

"Why talk to him? Why not talk to me?" His voice was icy.

"I don’t understand these things—" Zhou Xia resumed her languid tone, "Perhaps Ning Shuai wants to remind Mr. Sheng that your beloved brother... can’t escape either. After all, you both bear the name Sheng, right?"

Sheng Ai gave a rare cold laugh, "He is not my brother. Is there still someone who doesn’t know this?"

Zhou Xia was stunned, "What?"

Sheng Ai said, "The one I found is not my brother. I thought everyone in Nanjing knew this. I didn’t expect Ning Shuai still doesn’t know."

Hearing such a significant revelation, Zhou Xia was dumbfounded, "Not... your brother? Then why do you treat him so well?!" She paused, "Then where is your real brother?"
