byDuring their expedition in the mysterious land, not only did they fail to acquire any treasures, but they even lost the magical tools they had initially brought with them.
Turning to see all the members of the Piaomiao Pavilion in a disheveled state, with torn clothes, Xiao Lie, unable to suppress his rage any longer, confronted Wen Ren Ming loudly:
"Didn't you say the 'Clear Origin Scripture' was here? Didn't you mention the countless treasures within this realm? Look what happened now! We couldn't secure any treasures, and we've lost our magical tools. Even our magical robes are now in tatters. Wen Ren Ming, you owe me an explanation!"
As Xiao Liel spoke, he raised his hand towards Wen Renming, looking as if he might strike him.
Wen Renming turned his face to Xiao Liel. Despite the blankness in his eyes, he showed no hint of fear. With a faint smile, he said:
"Xiao my friend, I urge you to remain calm. I truly sense that the 'Qingyuan Jue' is here. Allow me to try."
Having said that, Wen Renming moved to an open area not far away. He extended a hand, swiftly cutting his finger. A drop of blood fell on the grass in front of him, and instantly, a beam of light burst forth.
Before them, it appeared as if a massive transparent wall was slowly dissolving. Shortly after, an ancient cave entrance revealed itself to them.
It turned out that the seeming emptiness they'd witnessed earlier was merely an illusion created by a protective barrier. To think, such a vast cavern was right before them all along.
Ying Zhao looked up and saw a signboard at the top of the cave entrance reading "Yuan Qing Cave." Upon seeing this, Xiao Liel lowered his hand, his eyes shining with excitement.
He then turned to Wen Renming, saying:
"You go in first."
Wen Renming nodded, without hesitation grabbing Ying Zhao's hand, intending to enter together. However, Xiao Liel suddenly approached and seized Ying Zhao's arm, pulling him close.
Picking up a twig from the ground, he threw it to Wen Renming, declaring:
"Enter on your own. My junior disciple and I will follow behind you."
Ever since entering the secret realm, Wen Renming had been extending his spiritual senses, which those of lower cultivation could not detect.
Thus, he was fully aware when Xiao Liel pulled Ying Zhao away. Feeling the firm grip Xiao Liel had on Ying Zhao's arm, Wen Renming's lips tightened, and a murderous intent surged within him.
Ying Zhao glanced at the hand Xiao Liel had on his arm and frowned. He had always disliked being touched by strangers, especially someone like Xiao Liel whom he found distasteful.
Sensing Wen Renming's displeasure, Ying Zhao discreetly broke free from Xiao Liel's grasp. Stepping forward, he whispered to Wen Renming:
"Wen Ren, go ahead. I'll be right behind you."
Only when the two were separated did Wen Renming relax his tensed posture. He nodded at Ying Zhao, and pretending to use the twig to find his way, entered the cavern.
The interior of the Yuan Qing Cave seemed incredibly deep. Not long after entering, their surroundings grew dim. In this pitch-black cave, Wen Renming's blindness wasn't a hindrance.
However, members of the Piaomiao Sect chanted spells, illuminating the path. Xiao Liel closely followed Wen Renming, his gaze constantly shifting between him and Ying Zhao.
In the past, Xiao Liel had always believed that his junior disciple admired him unconditionally and would make any sacrifice with just a hint of a promise.
However, since entering the secret realm, he had witnessed the interaction between Ying Zhao and Wen Renming. Xiao Liel keenly felt that their relationship wasn't as straightforward as he had imagined.
Though he couldn't believe that Ying Zhao would be genuinely interested in a low-level cultivator who was disfigured and blind, the 'Qingyuan Jue' was an unparalleled treasure in the cultivation world.
Every cultivator aspired to ascend to immortality. Could it be that Ying Zhao had become greedy, hoping to use Wen Renming to acquire the 'Qingyuan Jue', and then claim the treasure for himself?
With this thought, Xiao Liel felt like he might have grasped a truth. Anxiety gripped him. He turned to Ying Zhao, a fleeting murderous intent in his eyes, which Ying Zhao keenly caught.
Sensing Xiao Liel's intent, Ying Zhao lowered his head, a smirk tugging at his lips, wondering which of his actions had aroused suspicion.
However, whatever Xiao Liele might be thinking, he's already become cautious around himself and Wen Renming. It appears that Xiao Liele isn't as naive as I had imagined. But this is good; it makes things more interesting.
The group walked for quite some time before reaching the end of the cavern. But upon reaching the end, they found more than one tunnel. Faced with the choice between two openings, Xiao Liele fixed his gaze intently on Wen Renming, who led the way.

After a pretentious search, Wen Renming turned back and shook his head at him, indicating he wasn't certain which one to choose.
Xiao Liele frowned, deciding to closely follow Wen Renming. Unexpectedly, a fierce wind blew through the otherwise empty cavern. Such a gust in this desolate cave was highly suspicious. Then, a strong suction force emerged from the left tunnel.
Seeing this, Xiao Liele hurriedly moved to grasp Wen Renming, who was nearby. However, Wen Renming deftly evaded him, instead clutching Ying Zhao's waist and darting into the right tunnel, avoiding the malevolent wind.
Witnessing this, Xiao Liele also tried to enter the right tunnel. But the wind was too strong; he had to muster his strength against the cave wall and use the momentum to propel himself into the right passage.
Seeing Xiao Liele's maneuver, others followed suit. Given the abruptness of the wind, only a few managed to succeed. The rest of the Piaomiao Pavilion disciples in the cavern were less fortunate, being swept into the left tunnel.
