Chapter 36: Whatever You Want, I’ll Give It to You
by 临十Chapter 36: Everything You Want, I'll Give It to You
Qin Mo's expression was unreadable.
A Yan... was he doubting him? Or was he asking for help to deal with these men?
Hmph.
He really had grown up, hadn't he?
Qin Mo watched Qin Yan leave but ultimately didn't follow.
That Mr. Chen lay on the ground groaning in pain: "Qin, Mr. Qin, call an ambulance, quick."
Qin Mo turned around, looking down at the barely alive men on the floor with a frown. "Let's pretend today never happened. A Yan is still young—I'll compensate you all for your losses. How does that sound?"
He spoke calmly and without any rush, showing no intention of calling an ambulance. One of them, gritting through the pain, tried to dial for himself, but a hand snatched the phone away.
Qin Mo smiled like a fox. "You haven't given me your answer yet."
"Fine, fine, fine." Mr. Chen couldn't take it anymore—he was afraid that if he delayed any longer, he'd bleed to death. "I won't cause any trouble for Young Master Qin. Let's just pretend this never happened."
Qin Mo curved his lips in satisfaction. "This all happened so suddenly, gentlemen. You'll need to leave something as collateral with me."
When you're under someone else's roof, you have to bow your head.
By now, the three of them were kicking themselves—they hadn't expected Qin Mo, who looked like such a humble and decent young man, to be so cunning.
And his younger brother, just a wet-behind-the-ears kid, had some nerve too.
In the end, all three had to cough up a secret, and only after Qin Mo had leverage over them was the matter settled.
The three were taken away by ambulance, and no one knew what a dramatic scene had unfolded at tonight's banquet.
Qin Mo returned to the company and instructed his secretary to handle the fallout.
Compensation still had to be paid—otherwise, if those three were backed into a corner, no one would come out unscathed.
"Mr. Qin." The secretary, who had worked with Qin Mo for years, dared to ask, "Are we really just handing over these projects to them? Wouldn't that..."
Qin Mo signed the documents swiftly and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I said we're giving them, so we're giving them. Notify senior management—meeting tomorrow morning."
"Yes, Mr. Qin."
He was giving up several projects for no reason, losing a large sum of money, and having to appease senior management's dissatisfaction.
Qin Mo's gaze shifted from the documents, landing on the photo frame by his desk.
The photo was a group picture—a kid of about thirteen or fourteen and a young man in his twenties, both smiling brightly at the camera.
Qin Mo's lips slowly curled up, mirroring the smiles in the photo.
A Yan wasn't a little kid anymore.
But he still needed his protection, still a fledgling under his wing.
...
"Young Master, here's the medical kit."
The driver quickly placed the medical kit he'd brought into the back seat, along with a scent patch.
Qin Yan took the patch and stuck it on Su Zhiyu, then ordered: "Drive. Straight home."
"Young Master, aren't we going to the hospital?" The driver kept glancing at Su Zhiyu—he looked seriously injured, his hands covered in blood.
The driver cowered.
"No." Qin Yan opened the medical kit without looking up and began disinfecting and bandaging Su Zhiyu's wounds.
Su Zhiyu flinched.
Qin Yan's movements became gentler, his chin dipping slightly. "Does it hurt? Bear with it—it'll be over soon."
Su Zhiyu clutched tightly at Qin Yan's clothes, saying nothing, only the sound of heavy, ragged breaths echoing in the car's closed space.
Every second was pure agony.
Qin Yan finished the last step, finishing the bandage on his palm, while sweat beaded on his own forehead.
It's so hot.
Qin Yan tugged at his collar and blinked. Why did he feel increasingly hot, and more on edge too?
"How much longer?"
"Almost there, Young Master. We're almost there."
"Drive faster—ah."
A body crashed into his arms. Qin Yan caught Su Zhiyu as he swayed, his body temperature so much higher than his own that it nearly made him flinch.
"Su, Su Zhiyu, what's wrong?"
Qin Yan lowered his head to touch his forehead, and the rich, sweet scent of pheromones flooded his senses, easily stirring the most primal urge in him.
"Qin..."
Qin Yan cupped the back of his head, their eyes locking, as if they were back at the very first time they met.
The distance between them shrank. Su Zhiyu tilted his head up slightly—a tiny movement that Qin Yan saw as a signal of consent, pushing the taut string in his mind to its limit.
No. Not in the car.
Just a second before his lips met Su Zhiyu's, Qin Yan turned his head aside and pulled the man into his arms. "Almost home."
Su Zhiyu had the scent patch on, but his pheromones were still leaking out nonstop. Qin Yan let out a ragged breath and asked the driver in a hoarse voice: "Do you have any more scent patches?"
The driver said apologetically: "I only brought one. Are you feeling unwell too, Young Master?"
"Hurry up!"
"Alright, alright."
Qin Yan kept taking deep breaths. He'd never considered himself a man driven by lust, but when it came to Su Zhiyu's pheromones, he was like an addict.
They finally arrived.
Qin Yan carried Su Zhiyu inside and upstairs. The butler saw him come back and was there to greet him as usual, but before a single word could be spoken, he felt a gust of wind whoosh past him.
Hmm?
He turned to look, and there was the young master, hurrying up the stairs, holding Mr. Su in his arms.
Well, he was used to it by now, anyway.
The servants couldn't help but glance up curiously, while the butler stared thoughtfully at the upstairs, then waved a hand: "Go on, get back to work. Don't come in and bother the young master while he rests."
Bang.
The door shut. The moment Qin Yan set him down on the bed, he felt arms loop around his neck. The suppressant patch had been doing its job, but today, with that Alpha's pheromones forcing the issue, one patch just wasn't cutting it anymore.
Qin Yan stared intently into Su Zhiyu's eyes, his voice hoarse, barely recognizable: "Su Zhiyu, will you let me be selfish and help you?"
Su Zhiyu gasped, couldn't speak, and wasn't even sure if he understood. The fragile Omega could only act on instinct, reaching out for the Alpha's comfort.
"...I..."
Broken words tumbled from his lips. Qin Yan's heart lurched, and the last shred of his sanity snapped.
He lowered his head. "Alright."
I'll help you.
He tossed aside the jacket reeking of alcohol. Qin Yan knelt on the bed, his cool fingertips brushing against the Omega's gland, gently soothing the restless desperation there.
But touches this gentle weren't nearly enough to fill the Omega's emptiness—both in body and mind. Su Zhiyu opened his misty eyes, leaned in on his own accord, and bit Qin Yan's shoulder.
The bite was light, nothing like the aggressive one from before. Warm teeth scraped across skin, sending a tingling, numbing shiver through him.
Qin Yan shuddered, almost giving in right then and there.
He slid his hands down to Su Zhiyu's waist, his eyes darkening even more: "Whatever you want, I'll give it all to you."
The two wild pheromones clashed and merged fiercely, finally blending into one heady bottle of peach rum. A single sip was enough to get you drunk.
...
Dawn was breaking on the horizon. Qin Yan rolled out of bed, scooped up the half-conscious man, and carried him to the bathroom.
Hot water poured over them, opening every pore in a wave of relief.
Qin Yan bathed both himself and Su Zhiyu, then changed the sheets and blankets completely—busy for over an hour before climbing back into bed.
By now, the sky was fully bright, but the two inside the room slept soundly. In the dim darkness, a faint trace of fragrant, crisp liquor still lingered in the air.
Downstairs.
The butler looked up at the silent upper floor, then glanced at the man sitting on the sofa, cold as ice, not daring to breathe too loudly.
