Chapter 67: Tonight, Will You Come to My Room?
by 临十Chapter 67: Tonight, Come to My Room?
Perhaps it was because the Alpha's movements had been too gentle just now, making Su Zhiyu feel pampered and cherished.
He pouted slightly, letting his grievance show for the person before him.
Qin Yan's fingers curled slightly, his pupils trembling.
"Su Zhiyu." His every breath was tangled like knotted rope, winding tightly around his heart. "You can only be mine."
With that, Qin Yan's kisses fell again, this time not as gentle and restrained as before.
The Alpha's innate possessiveness erupted in an instant, almost like a siege, conquering every inch of the Omega, wishing he could knead him into his bones and mark him permanently.
But when his mouth moved near the back of the Omega's neck, reason still prevailed—he only pressed a gentle kiss there.
Su Zhiyu let out a low whimper.
The overwhelming sensitivity forced him to grab onto Qin Yan's clothes just to keep himself standing.
Suddenly, a chill crept around his waist. Su Zhiyu was startled and instinctively reached to stop it. He grabbed the wandering hand through his clothes, his voice urgent: "Don't—here, someone could come in."
Qin Yan ignored him, caught up in his impulses as he tried to continue. Su Zhiyu pressed his hand firmly, pleading: "No, Qin Yan, please, don't..."
Perhaps it was his soft plea that snapped Qin Yan back to his senses. He let out a heavy breath.
"Okay."
But Qin Yan didn't withdraw his hand. His fingertips traced lazy circles on the small of his back, his head pressing close to Su Zhiyu's ear to soothe him: "Don't be afraid, I won't do anything."
"Then why are you..."
"I want to see if the marks on your body have faded."
Qin Yan's palm was scorching hot, but his fingertips were cool, trailing from the small of his back up to his shoulder blades with a hint of chill.
Su Zhiyu trembled, his legs turning weak.
The impact of such subtle teasing was no less potent than outright aggression.
It was as if countless fine threads were weaving their way into every unguarded doorway of Su Zhiyu's heart.
"Qin Yan..."
"Hold me." Qin Yan commanded firmly. He caught Su Zhiyu's earlobe between his teeth, and his mind went blank as he dutifully wrapped his arms around Qin Yan's waist.
Qin Yan let out a silent sigh. Even with the air conditioning on, some cold air still seeped through the doors and windows. Afraid Su Zhiyu might catch a chill, he quickly withdrew his hand and pulled Su Zhiyu's disheveled clothes back down.
Su Zhiyu's eyelashes fluttered, and then he was enveloped in a tight embrace—so tight he could hardly breathe.
Qin Yan...
Maybe he really did like him a little. At least, for now, he did.
Su Zhiyu clutched Qin Yan's clothes tightly, closed his eyes, and greedily soaked in this moment that belonged to just the two of them.
Only the two of them.
Three minutes.
Three minutes would be enough. He would remember this moment for a very long time—perhaps for the rest of his life.
Besides his parents, Qin Yan was the only person who had ever held him so tightly.
Qin Yan.
"Qin Yan." The three minutes were up. Su Zhiyu gently tugged at Qin Yan, speaking in a hushed voice, "We've been out here for a long time already."
If they didn't go back soon, people would get suspicious.
Qin Yan knew they'd been gone too long too, so he reluctantly let go.
The warmth of the embrace receded, and Su Zhiyu froze, a flicker of wistfulness passing through his eyes.
Just for a moment—a brief one—Qin Yan didn't catch his expression, but he keenly sensed the shift in his demeanor.
Su Zhiyu turned to leave first: "I'll go—mmph—"
Qin Yan grabbed him and pulled him back into his arms, squeezing him so tightly he could barely breathe, then asked in a low voice: "Tonight, come to my room?"
It was a rather direct question. Su Zhiyu should have refused immediately, but in the end, he couldn't bring himself to say the words.
Even after they returned to the private room, he never answered that question—phrased as an inquiry but really an invitation.
"Zhi Yu, why's your face so red?"
Ji Yucheng stared at Su Zhiyu's lips—they were redder than usual, not like when he'd left...
Liu Mian and Yang Yichen also looked at Su Zhiyu.
At that, the two exchanged a subtle look and simultaneously raised their teacups.
Did they kiss?
Were they already at the kissing stage?
Yang Yichen couldn't help sneaking a glance at Qin Yan. Could his good brother have gone out and forced a kiss on Zhi Yu? Was Zhi Yu's move into his house also under duress?
Yang Yichen took a sip of tea, his brows furrowed.
At that question, Su Zhiyu's face grew even redder. He quickly picked up his teacup too, lowering his head: "It's a bit warm in here. I'm wearing too much."
"Is that so?" Ji Yucheng looked at him suspiciously. "Why don't you take off your jacket, then? It's pretty warm in here."
"..."
If he took it off, the marks on his neck would show...
Su Zhiyu silently pulled his clothes tighter and shook his head: "No need. I've got a bit of a cold. I'm afraid it might get worse."
Qin Yan chuckled.
Perhaps Su Zhiyu himself hadn't realized that when it came to matters involving Qin Yan, he was getting better and better at making up excuses on the spot, even responding with lightning-fast reflexes.
Impressive. He was improving.
Qin Yan felt the satisfaction of watching a carefully tended flower bud slowly bloom.
He set down his teacup. "Alright, let's wrap up and head out. I'm tired."
Yang Yichen almost laughed out loud.
Tired?
More like he can't wait to get home and be alone with his sweetheart, right? Ha, they're already living together, so of course he's in a rush to get back for some alone time!
"Huh? Already?" Ji Yucheng clicked his tongue, still not quite ready to call it a night. "We're leaving already? Nothing else going on tonight?"
"No."
"Ah..."
Liu Mian glanced at Su Zhiyu, who was clearly fidgeting, and chimed in, "It's getting late anyway. Let's call it a night. We can meet up again another time."
"Right, right." Yang Yichen scooped up Liu Mian's jacket and handed it to him. "Liu Mian's been busy at the theater all day. He should've gone back to rest way earlier. We'll catch up next time."
Seeing everyone was ready to go, Ji Yucheng didn't want to be the one to hold things up, so he set down his cup as well.
"Alright, let's head out then."
Ugh.
Finally got to hang out.
Eating, drinking, and chatting with everyone was a lot of fun—way better than being stuck in the practice room.
"You're not ready to go?" Liu Mian suggested. "Why not see if Yi Zhou's done with work yet."
Yang Yichen: "...Huh?"
Liu Mian didn't even glance at Yang Yichen. Ji Yucheng thought for a moment, then shook his head. "Nah, I don't really know him. We'll catch him next time."
"Yeah, Yi Zhou's a fun guy. Let's bring him along next time."
Ji Yucheng nodded casually. "Just don't forget to invite me."
"Yeah."
With that, the group dispersed.
Ji Yucheng was picked up by his assistant, Su Zhiyu left with Qin Yan, and Liu Mian hitched a ride with Yang Yichen, being the last to leave.
