Chapter 11: Yu Xing's Secret Exposed!

Gu Ya's face went blank the moment he was sent flying—that familiar sensation again.

A powerful sense of dread washed over him as the events of yesterday afternoon replayed in his mind like a movie. Panicked, he thrashed wildly, desperate to grab onto something and get back on his feet.

    [Broomstick Star Level 1: 31/250.]

Yu Xing felt Gu Ya's hands flailing wildly at her, the "Broomstick Star" progress notifications relentlessly popping up. She couldn't care less about the progress; she suspected Gu Ya was up to something, perhaps another one of his role-playing games?

"Sweetheart," Yu Xing sighed, utterly resigned. "Alright, I'll play along with whatever you want. What can I say? I like you. But you have to untie me first."

Hearing this, Gu Ya grew even more agitated. He finally managed to stand, but before he could steady himself, he impatiently shoved Yu Xing hard, desperate to create distance between them.

But Yu Xing wasn't alone; the man was still holding onto her.

Caught off guard by Gu Ya's full-force shove, the man lost his footing and stumbled backward. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue; he was strong, and Gu Ya was just a teenager. He wouldn't be knocked to the ground by Gu Ya; a few steps back would be enough to regain his balance.

The problem was, behind him wasn't solid ground, but the park's artificial lake.

So, after just three steps, the man's foot found nothing but air, and with a "splash," he tumbled into the lake.

Yu Xing rolled twice on the ground, and the grass binding her came loose. Gu Ya ignored Yu Xing, rushing to the lake's edge to watch the man flailing in the water. "Hey! You alright?"

The man's panic was brief; he quickly prepared to climb out. Gu Ya reached out a hand to him. Just as the man was about to grab it, his expression suddenly changed. He tried to warn Gu Ya, "Don't touch me..."

However, before he could finish, Gu Ya's hand clasped his.

In that instant, Gu Ya's expression went blank, and so did his mind. The man was in no better shape than Gu Ya; the moment he sank into the water, he saw a long, glowing aquatic creature, its body emitting a faint blue light, swim past him.

Why...? The man couldn't understand. Why was there an electric eel in a park lake?

    Wasn't this freshwater...?

By the time Yu Xing dragged them ashore, both men were fully conscious, their eyes wide open, glaring at her.

Yu Xing didn't know about the electric eel in the lake. She only knew that after they came out of the water, they lay motionless on the ground, not speaking. If she hadn't personally dragged them out of the lake, she would have thought they had drowned.

"Sweetheart," Yu Xing crouched beside Gu Ya, who lay on the grass by the lake.

"Why aren't you talking?" Yu Xing's hand gently caressed Gu Ya's jade-like cheek, still glistening with water droplets.

She stroked him a couple of times, finding the sensation delightful. Her gaze drifted lower; Gu Ya's white shirt was completely soaked, clinging tightly to his skin, revealing the faint contours of his muscles beneath.

His long legs were also tightly encased in wet black pants, looking slender and powerful.

Yu Xing swallowed hard, her mind drifting to all the things a couple should do.

"Sweetheart," Yu Xing's breathing grew heavier. "Why are you ignoring me?"

Heaven knew how terrified and frustrated Gu Ya was right now. It wasn't that he didn't want to speak or move; his entire body was numb, even his eyelids wouldn't budge.

The only part of him that could move was his eyeballs, so he rolled them to look at the man, hoping the man could save him.

Yu Xing followed Gu Ya's gaze and saw the equally soaked man lying on the ground.

"Alright," Yu Xing sighed in resignation. "I get it. Who asked me to like you? I'll do anything for you."

Gu Ya's heart trembled at her words. He stared at Yu Xing in terror, wondering what she was going to do now. He wanted to curse her, threaten her, make her aware of his identity. Yet, he could do nothing but lie there motionless and endure.

The man beside him was also anxious, though his anxiety was somewhat limited. He could tell that this Yu Xing didn't seem to have any intention of harming Gu Ya.

The eel's paralyzing effect on him was slowly diminishing. Given enough time, he believed regaining mobility wouldn't be an issue. Moreover, this was District B of the Seventh City, a relatively safe area.

Just then, he saw Yu Xing pick up the whip from the ground and gently stroke Gu Ya's face, saying, "Seriously, wasn't three hours yesterday enough to satisfy you?"

Gu Ya glared at her. Yu Xing sighed, "Alright, alright, I'll definitely put in more effort today than yesterday, okay?"

Gu Ya continued to glare. Yu Xing paused, "Still not enough?"

Then, with an understanding smile, her voice thick with indulgence, she said, "Got it, got it. Just this much still isn't enough."

With that, she began removing Gu Ya's clothes. As the fabric slipped away, Gu Ya's fair skin glistened with droplets of water, so pale it looked nearly translucent in the sunlight. If bright red whip marks were to appear on such skin...

Yu Xing's throat went dry, suddenly gaining some understanding of Gu Ya's preferences. She quickly shook her head, thinking, *Yu Xing, you can't do this. Don't you dare stoop this low! You have to maintain some dignity as a human from Earth!*

With that in mind, she averted her eyes and swiftly stripped Gu Ya completely.

The bystander gaped. What was happening? When Gu Ya had sought him out earlier, he'd only mentioned that someone suspected to be a Divine Chosen had offended him and wanted help taking them out.

But Gu Ya never said *how* this person had offended him...

He had indeed sensed earlier that this Yu Xing bore no ill will toward Gu Ya, but now he wasn't so sure. Wasn't violating someone out of affection still... wrong?

He grew a little anxious. If he failed to protect the young master's chastity, would they deduct from his paycheck?

Yet just then, he saw Yu Xing walking toward him, whip in hand.

    The man: "..."

Wait, was he involved too? His pupils dilated in panic—*Don't come any closer!*

Yu Xing crouched beside the man and began undressing him. She was reluctant—this wasn't her usual type. But once his clothes were off, she saw his mature physique, his sun-bronzed skin covering well-defined muscles.

Yu Xing's lips quirked in approval as she ran her hands over the man's abs, praising, "Not bad. Not bad at all."

    The man: "..."

After finishing, Yu Xing stood up and raised the whip.

Both the man and Gu Ya stared at Yu Xing with laser focus. Under such palpable gazes, Yu Xing hesitated.

"Shoot, I almost forgot." Yu Xing pulled out her terminal and gave Gu Ya an apologetic smile. "I forgot you like recording these wonderful moments, darling."

    The man: "..."

This time, the man didn't glare at Yu Xing—he turned his glare toward Gu Ya instead. *You sick bastard! What kind of hobby is this? And even if you have such tastes, why drag me into it? My innocence...*

Compared to the man's agitation, Gu Ya was consumed by despair and regret. This was the first time in his life he'd ever felt remorse. Why had he gone looking for trouble with Yu Xing yesterday? So what if Yu Xing and Yun Dai kissed? What did it have to do with him? Yun Dai didn't even like him—why had he gotten himself into this mess for her sake?

Before him stood lush cedars and camphor trees—his carefully selected spot for its seclusion and concealment. You could get away with murder here.

Yet now, it had become his own perfectly laid trap. Whatever Yu Xing did to him here, no one would come to his rescue...

Gu Ya closed his eyes in despair. Misreading his expression, Yu Xing took it as his approval.

So, with delight, she raised the whip and swung it down with gusto.

    "Crack!"

    "Snap!"

    "Crack..."

The crisp sound of the whip echoed through the silent park. Over an hour later, Yu Xing sat on a bench, gasping for breath as she wiped her forehead.

She hadn’t eaten lunch, and she was clearly running out of steam.

But she was still quite satisfied with her work. Gu Ya lay on the ground, his pale skin starkly contrasted by the angry red marks. The thin sheen of sweat covering his body, glistening under the bright sunlight, made him look like a breathtaking work of art.

Yu Xing didn’t dare look too long—she feared one more glance might make her lose control.

But when she turned away, she caught sight of the man Gu Ya had brought along.

The whip marks covering his tanned skin didn’t diminish his imposing aura in the slightest. Instead, they gave him the strange allure of a wounded general, captured by the enemy after a fierce battle.

*Don’t look, don’t look!* She scolded herself inwardly. *Yu Xing, what’s wrong with you? You’ve fallen. You never spared a glance for men like this before!*

*Your type has always been handsome men like Dr. Zhang, Dr. Li, Nurse Zhao, and Gu Ya!!*

Gritting her teeth, she restrained herself. She put away the whip, stood up, and apologized to Gu Ya, "Sorry, my lunch break is almost over. I have to get back to school. Next time, I promise I’ll make sure you're thoroughly satisfied!"

With that, she quickly turned and bolted.

She had no choice—she couldn’t let Gu Ya realize her stamina was completely depleted, that she couldn't continue. They had just started dating; she couldn’t let him think she was so useless.

Rushing back to school, she was about to return to her classroom when several girls suddenly blocked her path.

At the time, Yu Xing had been checking a video on her device. Startled by the interruption, she stared blankly at the five girls in front of her. Who were they? The original Yu Xing didn’t know them.

"Who are you?" Yu Xing frowned. "Can you let me pass?"

"Yu Xing," the girl at the front snarled, glaring at her. "You think you’re so great, don’t you?"

Yu Xing was confused. "What do you mean?"

"You got together with Gu Ya—aren't you thrilled?!" a second girl yelled. "You don't deserve him! You're just trash, you should die miserably in a dump!"

*Gu Ya?* Yu Xing thought. *They're here to cause trouble over him?*

Instinctively, she tried to put away her device, but the girl in front noticed and snatched it from her hands.

"What were you looking at with that sickening smirk just now?" The girl examined Yu Xing’s device, but modern privacy locks were too tight—only the owner could clearly see the contents.

"No!" Yu Xing, still unfamiliar with this world, freaked out. She didn’t want anyone else to see that private video of Gu Ya. "Don’t! That’s my privacy!"

The girl dodged Yu Xing’s reach and sneered. "Why so defensive? Must be something shameful. Even if we can’t see it directly, we can still use your device to post it online for the whole school to see. Then *everyone* can see your little secret."
