Chapter 18: Choose Your Man Carefully

After staying in the hospital for nearly half a month, Shi Yu returned to the Shi family.

Upon returning, he unexpectedly found that a new guest had moved in.

Later, Shi Yu realized that she was not a guest at all, but his future sister-in-law.

"Hello, I'm Fu Yuwei. You must be Shi Yu, I've heard of you." The girl in front of him extended her hand gracefully.

Shi Yu, sitting in a wheelchair, reached out and shook her hand. "You don't mind me shaking your hand while sitting, do you?"

Fu Yuwei was taken aback for a moment, then smiled. "Of course not." Then she heard the sound of a car outside and ran out excitedly. "It must be Brother Shi coming back. I'll go greet him."

Shi Ciye looked at his eldest son, who was standing respectfully before him. "You should know why I asked Yu Wei to stay at our home."

Shi Yan looked up. "Dad, I don't want to think about marriage right now."

Shi Ciye said coldly, "Shi Yan, you don't think Shi Yu's words during that livestream had no effect on you, do you? If you still want the vice president position and want to take my seat, Yu Wei is your best choice.

Fu Yuwei turned around and saw Shi Yu looking at her with a beaming smile. "I heard you studied sculpture abroad. I'm quite fond of wood carving myself. I have a few questions I'd like to ask you."

"You like wood carving? A friend of mine just organized a wood carving exhibition. If you want to go, I can ask him for a few tickets." Fu Yuwei said as she walked toward Shi Yu.

Taking advantage of Fu Yuwei and Shi Yu's lively conversation, Shi Yù came to Jiang Ji's side. "Brother Jiang Ji, you and Miss Fu..."

Jiang Ji: "We were both members of the same rock climbing club in college."

Shi Yù nodded. "Then... do you like her?"
