Chapter 50: The Supporting Female Lead in an Online Romance Becomes Enchanting (50)

When Tang Qing arrived at the lab, Li Chengyou stuck his head out the door a few times and asked in confusion, "Wasn't there supposed to be someone on a motorcycle who brought you? Didn’t he come with you?"

"You really don’t miss a thing," Tang Qing chuckled. "He dropped me off at the gate and left. Did your campus forum say something again?"

Tang Qing opened her phone, but B University's forum was completely empty.

Confused, she recalled how just moments ago, when Yang Mingyue parked, she had definitely seen many people taking photos with their phones and heard whispers here and there... So why was the forum so clean?

Li Chengyou seemed to notice her confusion and pointed at Si Yuechen, saying matter-of-factly, "Can't see anything, right?"

"Hehehe, that’s because someone here couldn’t stand it—said it was all just spreading rumors."

    "Got pissed and deleted everything!"

    Si Yuechen did this?

Without thinking, Tang Qing glanced in his direction. As always, he sat in the corner, expressionless. It was impossible to tell he would even care about something like this...

The system whispered in her ear at that moment, "Si Yuechen just had a big emotional spike. His affection for you increased by 4 points—now at 93."

"Some people, the calmer they look on the surface, the crazier they might be inside."

The system was delighted to see Si Yuechen lose his composure. By now, it had fully become a shipper of Si Yuechen and Tang Qing, letting out weird little laughs every time the two appeared together.

The contract signing went quickly. Since Tang Qing was the one benefiting, she didn’t hesitate and directly wrote her name.

Thinking she could leave right after finishing the formalities, she was unexpectedly stopped by Si Yuechen.

    "Is there something else?"

Si Yuechen was still dressed in his long-sleeved shirt, every button from cuff to collar meticulously fastened. Paired with his sharp-featured face, he looked stoic and composed. "Didn’t I say I’d give you a robot?"

"It’s at my apartment. Come with me to get it."

Perking up at this, Li Chengyou suddenly leaned in. "Boss, I saw that robot too! You can’t be biased—if the goddess gets one, make one for me too, okay?"

"I’ve even thought of a name! Same as mine, call it ‘YoYo.’ What do you think?"

Eyes wide with hope, Li Chengyou looked at him with anticipation.

He couldn’t be blamed—Si Yuechen’s robot was just too tempting. Li Chengyou had studied the video carefully; the robot was loaded with multiple intelligent modules, likely all developed by Si Yuechen himself.

Totally unique, that little robot even had basic human-machine interaction functions, capable of simple conversation—a real digital pet.

The more Li Chengyou thought about it, the more he wanted one. His smile grew increasingly exaggerated. "Boss, make one for me, please? I’ll even help you out—write the module codes together!"

As if he hadn’t heard Li Chengyou at all, Si Yuechen walked off without a word.

"Hey, wait—boss, why the rush? Why can’t you make one for me?"

"Boss, really won’t you consider me? Boss!"

"Boss! Si Yuechen! Look at me! Dude, your own roommate—!"

No amount of shouting could make Si Yuechen turn back.

Kuang Zhun dragged him back, covering Li Chengyou’s nonstop yapping mouth. "Are you stupid? It’s totally unique—meant for Tang Qing. Why’re you crashing the party?"

Li Chengyou somehow missed Si Yuechen’s intentions—this was a one-of-a-kind privilege, meant only for Tang Qing.

After walking with Si Yuechen for a while, Tang Qing suddenly spoke up, “Li Chengyou seemed really eager to have that robot earlier.”

    “No second one?”

    “None.”

Taking a step closer, Tang Qing gave Si Yuechen a sidelong glance, teasingly saying, “Then why not give mine to him?”

    “He seemed desperate for it…”

Before she could finish speaking, Si Yuechen abruptly stopped and looked at her seriously. “No.”

“Tang Qing, don’t hand my feelings to someone else.” The usually composed Si Yuechen let slip a rare flicker of emotion.

Tang Qing read him perfectly—Si Yuechen was clearly a little angry.

Giving his gift away had definitely upset him…

At this thought, Tang Qing’s grin widened. Riling up someone as cold as Si Yuechen was half the fun.

Playing dumb about his irritation, she stayed breezy. “Just kidding. 01 is so adorable—I’d never give it away.”

“You weren’t really mad just now, were you?”

Si Yuechen paused for two seconds, his lips thinning. “No.”

“Earlier…” After a beat, he blurted, “Why did you come with Yang Mingyue?”

“He came by my place today and gave me a dog.” Watching Si Yuechen’s reaction, Tang Qing said deliberately, “He said he had time, so he gave me a ride.”

That made Si Yuechen’s brow twitch. He asked again, “He gave you a dog?”

“Yeah. Said he found it near the cafeteria. His dorm doesn’t allow pets, and since I live in a rental, he left it with me.”

Pouring fuel on the fire, Tang Qing added, “Yang Mingyue said he’d stop by to check on the dog when he has time.”

Observing Si Yuechen’s expression, she saw his frosty calm cracking.

In the silence between them, Si Yuechen finally broke it. “The apartment is just ahead. Let’s go.”

Si Yuechen’s apartment matched his temperament—simple, cold, and excessively clean, devoid of warmth.

Only two pairs of slippers sat at the entrance. Tang Qing realized no one ever visited—the pair prepared for her was brand new.

01 was on the table. Surprisingly, beside it sat another robot. Had Si Yuechen made two?

“They’re a set,” Si Yuechen explained, sensing her confusion. “I made them both from the start. They belong together.”

As if to confirm his words, 01 suddenly spoke up. “Hello, Tang Qing! This is 01’s favorite robot, Pai Pai!”

“Pai Pai?” Mulling over the name, Tang Qing asked, “Why call it that?”

“It’s pi—like 3.14… Pi goes on forever, just like 01’s love for Pai Pai.” In his earnest explanation, Si Yuechen held her gaze. He stared at her intently and repeated, “Did you hear me clearly?”

“01 will always love Pai Pai.”

    “Tang Qing, I love you.”

The system, losing its mind, shrieked internally: “He confessed! He confessed!”

“Tang Qing, Si Yuechen’s emotions have been all over the place since this morning! It’s maxed out! He’s head over heels!”

    “Tang Qing, mission accomplished!”
