Chapter 180 End of Main Story

Chi Yu brought Xie Xiyi home.

Xie Xiyi met the grandpa and grandma that Chi Yu had always talked about.

...They were perfectly ordinary, commonplace elderly mortals.

But Xie Xiyi could sense that they loved Chi Yu deeply; the bond and affection between them were so strong they couldn't be severed.

In fact, Chi Yu had grown up the way he had largely thanks to these two elders.

Therefore, Xie Xiyi treated them with meticulous care and respect. Those slender hands—stained with blood and having taken the heads of countless cultivators and Grandmasters—now gently massaged the grandmother's shoulders, infusing them with subtle, nourishing spiritual energy.

The grandmother was immediately captivated by Xie Xiyi's handsome appearance. Noticing his extraordinary aura, she secretly thought he must be from a truly wealthy family, unlike their own sudden fortune. She had initially felt a bit uneasy, but under Xie Xiyi's soft words and gentle massage, she quickly relaxed. "Ah, my shoulders really don't ache anymore! I feel so much lighter," she said, not hiding her favor toward him.

The grandfather, who usually appeared stern, also smiled at this.

The elderly couple never cared for the bustling city environment. They had stayed in the city only for Chi Yu's schooling. When Chi Yu was home, it was lively—he loved to laugh and talk, filling the house with energy. But when Chi Yu went to school, the home became quiet and cold.

Chi Yu used to invite classmates over, and the grandparents enjoyed hosting them, watching them chat and play games.

However, Xie Xiyi obviously didn't look like a high school student.

The grandfather asked him, "Are you still studying?"

Xie Xiyi replied without batting an eye, "Grandfather, I've already graduated."

The grandfather wasn't surprised; he had thought as much. Xie Xiyi's clothing didn't resemble a student's, and his imposing presence made him seem more like a big shot... no, not even Chi Yu's father was that imposing.

Having seen the world, the grandfather estimated that Xie Xiyi's family background must be quite good, with proper upbringing and broad experience, which would undoubtedly have a positive influence on Chi Yu's growth.

Thus, his stern face softened with kindness. "How did you and Chi Yu meet?"

Xie Xiyi replied, "We met during Chi Yu's summer vacation travels. He helped me a great deal." As he said this, he looked at Chi Yu with a slight smile.

Chi Yu's fair cheeks flushed with a faint blush.

Though they sat across the coffee table, Xie Xiyi's Spiritual Sense had transformed into a translucent large cat, playfully batting at and tangling with Chi Yu's Spiritual Sense. It wasn't meant to be intimate but more playful and teasing.

Chi Yu had no choice but to use his Spiritual Sense to form a cat toy and play along.

Hearing Xie Xiyi bring him into the conversation, Chi Yu nodded repeatedly. "That's right, I didn't just help him—I saved his life. If it weren't for me, he would have died."

The grandmother exclaimed, "Huh? What happened?"

Chi Yu curled his lips into a big grin and made up a story, "He fell into a pit. Deep in the mountains, there was no one around, and he almost starved to death. Luckily, I passed by and pulled him out. In ancient times, a life-saving grace like this would require offering oneself in marriage (*yǐshēn xiāngxǔ*), right?" At the end, he lifted his chin toward Xie Xiyi.

Xie Xiyi chuckled softly, "That can still be arranged now, as long as Grandpa and Grandma agree."

The two elders exchanged a glance.

They had raised Chi Yu themselves and knew him well—not 100%, but pretty darn close. Chi Yu's tone didn't sound like he was joking.

They weren't sure about the situation, but they knew that Chi Yu, though seemingly carefree, lively, and even childish at times, was very sincere and careful when it came to emotions. He was handsome and tall, and many girls liked him, with some even boldly pursuing him to their home, but nothing ever came of it.

Grandma Chi Yu responded with a smile, "Well, in ancient times, it was all about parental orders and matchmakers. But it's the 21st century now; there aren't so many restrictions. Still, a life-saving grace can be acknowledged by becoming family (*rèn gè qīn*). Since Chi Yu has always been the older brother at home and must be tired of that role, how about becoming sworn brothers (*rèn gè gān gē*)?"

Whether it was a joke or not, Grandma Chi Yu treated it as one.

But Chi Yu didn't know how to hide his intentions—or perhaps he didn't want to. He took relationships seriously. Since he had brought Brother Xuan Ji home, he didn't want to keep it a secret. He wanted his grandparents' blessing.

He opened his bright eyes wide, looked at her, and smiled, "Grandma, how can sworn brothers compare to marriage ties (*yīnqīn*)? Even though we can't get married domestically, we can abroad."

    Grandpa and Grandma fell silent.

They exchanged another glance, confirming it: this kid had indeed brought his boyfriend home.

    But he was only eighteen!

He hadn't even taken the college entrance exam yet and was already thinking about marriage? Wasn't that a bit too eager?

However, that eagerness also showed that he was truly in love.

The two elders prided themselves on being open-minded and well-adjusted—otherwise, they wouldn't have raised Chi Yu so well. So after only a moment's hesitation, they accepted the fact.

But the most important thing now was the college entrance exam.

Grandma said, "Well, we can talk about that later. You're still young..." She directly changed the subject. "Which university are you planning to attend?"

Seeing their expressions, Chi Yu knew they weren't opposed. That was all he needed for now, so his smile grew even brighter. "Of course, I still plan to go to H-Da."

Grandpa said, "H-Da is good, but the cutoff score is high. You'll have to work hard this year and not slack off."

Chi Yu replied, "I know! I will, Grandpa. You do trust me, right?"

Xie Xiyi stayed for dinner at Chi Yu's home that evening, with Chi Yu doing the cooking.

Chi Yu's culinary skills were excellent, as Xie Xiyi well knew. But it had been a while since he last tasted it, and this time, he felt the emotions in the food were even stronger—full of love and joy, making the meal exceptionally delicious.

After dinner, Chi Yu excused himself to walk Xie Xiyi out. After they left, Grandpa said to Grandma, "Should we tell Xiao Nian and Susu about Chi Yu finding a partner?"

Grandma said irritably, "Why go looking for trouble? They're only interested in money and don't care about the child. What's there to say? Even though Chi Yu is my grandson, I've raised him for over ten years—he's as good as my own son. I'll handle this."

    Grandpa said, "So open-minded?"

Grandma replied, "Haven't you noticed? During summer vacation, Chi Yu seemed happy on the surface, but he was hiding something. His appetite even decreased. But now he's better—he ate five bowls of rice tonight. Good news lifts the spirits; let him be."

Grandpa shook his head, hands behind his back, and walked out. "Alright then, a male daughter-in-law (*nán xífù*)."

Although it was supposed to be just seeing Xie Xiyi off, Chi Yu couldn't bear to part with him, so he invited Xie Xiyi for a walk to help digest.

His home was in an upscale residential area, and the surrounding streets were naturally bustling. Not far away was an international shopping plaza, which drew crowds in the evening.

Xie Xiyi surveyed the area and sighed, "The spiritual energy in this world is almost nonexistent, and the air pollution is severe. You returned for Grandpa and Grandma, but why not take them directly to the Haoyuan Realm?"

    Chi Yu: "Huh?"

Chi Yu was slow to process this. "Wait, Brother Xuan Ji, if you've replaced the Heavenly Dao and become the Heavenly Dao of the Haoyuan Realm, why are you still here?"

Xie Xiyi looked at Chi Yu's golden eyes, which shone brightly even in the dark night, curled his lips into a big smile, and said in a pleasing voice, "I've mastered the laws of the Haoyuan Realm and possess the forbidden spells, so I can leave the Haoyuan Realm. However, I still know everything that happens there."

    Chi Yu: "...Oh."

Seeing that Chi Yu didn't seem to truly comprehend what mastering the laws entailed, Xie Xiyi lowered his voice and said, "Now, I can create worlds."

Chi Yu blinked, confusion evident in his eyes: "? What do you mean?"

Xie Xiyi: "It means creating life-bearing planets. Do you want to be a creator god, Chi Yu?"

    Chi Yu: "..."

He finally realized that Xie Xiyi seemed to be flexing on him and couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. With a perfect look of astonishment on his face, he exclaimed with feigned excitement, "Really? Brother Xuan Ji? Have you become this powerful already?"

Xie Xiyi looked at his expectant face, slung an arm over his shoulder, pulling him closer to avoid the passing crowd, and said, "Of course. However, the rules have limits—I can only create planets where life and technology are less advanced than this world."

As he spoke, he slightly furrowed his brows, casting a piercing, ominous glare at the mortals who had been staring at them, unable to look away.

The gazes of these mortals were far too intrusive.

The only thing Xie Xiyi disliked about this world was the sheer number of mortals—an unimaginable multitude.

They were too fragile, like ants, and he had to constantly monitor whether his murderous aura was contained while using laws to reverse the potent toxins in his body.

He was too powerful; the world's consciousness and laws sought to drive him out. If he harmed any mortals here, it would give them a pretext to drive him out.

Of course, he could also devour this world's laws and take their place, but there was no real need. No matter what, this world's laws were more refined than the Heavenly Dao of Haoyuan Realm. Absorbing such laws would not benefit him.

Chi Yu, unaware of his thoughts, enthusiastically continued the conversation: "So, you can create parallel worlds of Earth?"

Xie Xiyi came back to himself and replied unhurriedly, "Yes, as long as I copy Earth’s data from its birth onward, I can create a new Earth."

Chi Yu gushed, buttering him up: "Is that even possible? Oh my god, Brother Xuan Ji, how are you any different from a deity?"

Xie Xiyi saw through his exaggeration and his interest waned slightly. "There is a difference. I can do this, but they will only be gifts for you—don’t put me on a pedestal, Chi Yu. I think you should understand me."

Xie Xiyi, having merged with Demon Heart, was no saint; in fact, he had a bloodthirsty streak. Even though he restrained this side of himself in front of Chi Yu, it didn’t mean he had completely eradicated it.

A predator going vegetarian is temporary—it’d starve without meat.

Chi Yu was caught off guard for a moment, then understood. He took out his phone and opened a popular competitive game. "Then I’ll teach you how to play a game. I promise it’ll hit the spot."

    Xie Xiyi: "?"

They sat in a small park along the river. Xie Xiyi was tall and broad-shouldered, with a muscular build. A cultivator’s robe suited him well and accentuated his presence, but wearing a shirt made him look a bit stuffed. When he sat down and leaned forward, his back muscles bulged like mountain ridges, appearing as reliable as a mountain range.

Chi Yu leaned over his shoulder, ostensibly teaching him but actually just egging him on and backseat gaming. "Go into their jungle to farm camps, quick, quick, quick! Steal the blue buff and run!"

Xie Xiyi said in his melodious voice, "The new version updated the jungle stealing rules. You can’t steal the enemy’s jungle camps anymore."

Having mastered the laws, the world’s consciousness was wide open to him. If he wished, he could grasp this world’s technology, culture, and history in seconds.

Naturally, the game was a cakewalk for him.

More and more people gathered around, for no other reason than Chi Yu and Xie Xiyi’s appearances—and now, Xie Xiyi’s angelic voice added to the allure.

It was a rare and beautiful sight. Under the glow of the night and streetlights, their faces shone brilliantly, like shining jewels in the darkness. It was only natural for people to be drawn to them.

Xie Xiyi found this displeasing and intrusive, but this was Chi Yu’s hometown. He knew the rules and culture here and understood why Chi Yu had chosen to return.

This was Chi Yu’s home, and he should integrate into it. By embracing the local culture and adapting to customs, Chi Yu could let go of his concerns.

So, Xie Xiyi ignored these mortals.

Chi Yu, of course, noticed the growing crowd around them, but he didn’t mind. He was used to being the center of attention since childhood. He simply automatically kept his voice down to avoid disturbing others. "Then hurry and support the mid lane! Kill the enemy’s Qiao Mei, quick, quick, quick!"

Xie Xiyi said leisurely, "I don’t draw my blade against the weak, elderly, women, or children."

    Chi Yu was speechless: "..."

Chi Yu muttered, "Then you can only go to a slaughterhouse to kill pigs."

Xie Xiyi laughed, "But then again, I’ve equipped the jungle item."

    Chi Yu: "Hahahahahahaha."

Commander Chi Yu took command again, full of vigor and strategizing. "Go camp in the brush to the left of the red buff. The marksman is covering mid lane minions, and the mid laner will go top to cover the marksman’s minions. Take the chance to kill her."

Xie Xiyi followed instructions and indeed sent Little Qiao back to the fountain again.

"Qiao Mei must have gone bottom lane. Go ambush her in the brush there."

"Qiao Mei has respawned! Go ambush her in the mid lane’s second tower brush!"

"Qiao Mei is coming to support again. Just dash through these people and finish off Little Qiao."

"Purify! Instantly purify! I am Li Bai, the Immortal Venerable! Surrender now, you fools! Hehehehehehe!"

Chi Yu was all over Xie Xiyi’s back, waving his arms, afraid of disturbing others, so his "hehehe" was whispered softly into Xie Xiyi’s ear.

    Xie Xiyi: "..."

His ear tickled from Chi Yu’s breath, and he lost focus on the game. His Spiritual Sense emerged, easily unlocking the door to Chi Yu’s spiritual realm, flowing abundantly inside and toying with Chi Yu’s Spiritual Sense like kneading dough.

Chi Yu’s last "he" got stuck in his throat. He lowered his head and bit Xie Xiyi’s shoulder, falling silent.

Xie Xiyi asked with a smile, "Where should I go now?"

Chi Yu let go, his Adam’s apple bobbing a few times, and whispered, "Let’s go back."

Xie Xiyi: "No, we have to finish the game."

Chi Yu had no choice but to drape himself over Xie Xiyi’s shoulders and lean in to watch him finish the match.

Xie Xiyi learned everything quickly, and now, as an embodiment of laws, he easily secured the MVP.

Chi Yu accompanied Xie Xiyi back to the apartment he’d rented for Xiao Qiu. Since he had anticipated Xie Xiyi might come and need a place to stay, he had rented a spacious place.

When Xie Xiyi saw Xiao Qiu again, he remarked belatedly, "You’ve gotten bigger."

    Chi Yu: "What has grown?"

Xiao Qiu also looked at Xie Xiyi curiously.

Xie Xiyi said, "You’ve grown up. It’s time to keep your distance."

    Xiao Qiu: "?"

Xiao Qiu was no longer an eleven-year-old child. Although his bloodline granted him longevity and he had fixed his appearance to that of an eighteen or nineteen-year-old according to his wishes, he had genuinely lived through five hundred years—he was now over five hundred years old.

Moreover, as a member of the Xie family, he was handsome and ethereal, tall with slender limbs, and his skin was as pale and cool as moonlight. He even bore some resemblance to Xie Xiyi, which gave Xie Xiyi a weird vibe.

Xiao Qiu had no idea what he was thinking. His lips trembled as he said, "Your Highness, what are you trying to do? Are you trying to kick me to the curb to have your alone time? I’m not getting in your way! If you want to do something, just throw up a barrier. There’s no need to maintain distance, right?"

They used to be together as a trio before, but now it wasn’t allowed. How could Xiao Qiu tolerate this?

Xie Xiyi stared at him for a moment, then smiled and said, "You’re over five hundred years old. It’s time to get married."

Since the unwanted companion had already been brought along and couldn't really be shaken off, it might be for the best to have him marry and pay less attention to Chi Yu.

Xiao Qiu was well aware of what he meant. After merging with Demon Heart, His Highness indeed didn’t dote on him as much as before. Now, he was even being treated as an imaginary enemy. Even if he had any thoughts about Brother Aotian, Brother Aotian wouldn’t be interested in him anyway. It was a non-issue, yet he was being told to keep his distance. Couldn’t a younger brother-in-law and sister-in-law have a purely platonic friendship?

To even bring up age as an excuse—Xiao Qiu glanced at Chi Yu and said irritably, "Looking from outside this world, Brother Aotian and I are the same age. We’re contemporaries! Your Highness, on the other hand, look like you’re in your late twenties—practically a generation apart from Brother Aotian!"

That was true. After Xie Xiyi formed his Golden Core at sixteen, his height and appearance had stabilized. Even back then, he already carried the dignified and steady demeanor of a young man. Now, tempered by bloodshed and slaughter, his aura had become fierce, his eyes and brows steeped in a blood-soaked intensity, with no trace of youthful innocence left. Instead, he exuded an overwhelming pressure—there was no way anyone would mistake him for being the same age as Chi Yu.

    Xie Xiyi: "..."

His smile faded, and he fell silent, his gaze fixed intently on Xiao Qiu.

    Xiao Qiu: "..."

He chickened out, put on his headphones, and pretended to continue watching the movie.

Xie Xiyi withdrew his gaze and turned to Chi Yu, who had been watching the scene with amusement. He smiled and asked, "Having fun?"

"Ahem, no, not at all." Seeing Xie Xiyi’s calm smile, Chi Yu didn’t dare laugh anymore and replied nonchalantly, "So, Brother Xuan Ji, what’s your bone age?"

Xie Xiyi extended his hand. "Feel it for yourself."

Chi Yu reached out, but before his fingers could touch Xie Xiyi’s wrist, Xie Xiyi caught his hand and held it. "Do you mind that I’m older?"

In the beginning, Xie Xiyi was only two years older than Chi Yu.

Chi Yu chuckled. "How could I? Age doesn’t seem to hold any meaning for us cultivators, does it?"

Xie Xiyi let out a light laugh. Though his voice remained pleasant and gentle, there seemed to be an undercurrent of something darker beneath the surface. "But this world places great importance on age differences, isn’t that right?"

Chi Yu inwardly blamed Xiao Qiu for causing him trouble but showed no sign of it on his face. He replied calmly, "Not really. At most, we look like we’re about ten years apart. It’s not a big deal."

Chi Yu’s bone age was still not even twenty—extremely young.

Even though Xie Xiyi had spent five hundred years gestating in the black cocoon, it wasn’t time wasted. Time had still left its mark on him; at the very least, his bone age clearly indicated he was over five hundred years old.

He could, of course, use the laws to erase the effects of time, but there was no real need. For one, it would consume his power over the laws, and secondly, it was simply the truth.

Xie Xiyi realized that he was indeed somewhat bothered by what Xiao Qiu had said—not because of the age difference itself, but because Chi Yu was so young.

In the cultivation world, where reaching the Golden Core Stage granted an eight-hundred-year lifespan, Chi Yu’s twenty years of age made him as green and tender as a child.

A belated sense of morality struck Xie Xiyi’s nearly nonexistent conscience—he had plucked the fruit before it had fully ripened and consumed it.

When the fruit was unripe, it might not have had a choice. Once ripe, it might have yearned for broader horizons. And he had snuffed out that possibility.

Xie Xiyi’s Adam’s apple bobbed slightly as unease welled up in his heart.

He wondered to himself, did Chi Yu truly understand what it meant to love? At Chi Yu’s age, he himself had been completely clueless—unfamiliar with Spiritual Communion, ignorant of physical intimacy, and largely detached from the complexities of emotions and desires.

Xie Xiyi didn’t doubt his own feelings for Chi Yu. The threads of affection had already taken root, firmly embedded in his spiritual realm.

    But Chi Yu...?

Xie Xiyi pushed these distracting thoughts aside. No matter what, Chi Yu had personally confessed his feelings. They were mutually in love, and there was no room for regret. If such a day ever came, Chi Yu would never escape his grasp.

Of course, he would also treat Chi Yu better—better still, so well that Chi Yu would never want to leave him, never want to stop loving him.

Xie Xiyi’s thoughts swirled with countless reflections, none of which Chi Yu was aware of. All Chi Yu knew was that after he spoke, he sensed Xie Xiyi’s mood seemed to lighten again.

He relaxed, pulling Xie Xiyi into the room and setting up a restriction.

"Xiao Qiu should go to school," Xie Xiyi said abruptly.

Chi Yu pressed Xie Xiyi onto the bed and straddled him. "He should go to school, but he's so old now—he can't start from elementary school. We need to hire a tutor and have him study for a few years before entering high school."

Xie Xiyi snorted. "That brain of his..."

"What's wrong with his brain? Xiao Qiu is quite smart; he just doesn't like cultivating," Chi Yu said with full confidence in him.

"Let's not talk about him." Xie Xiyi looked into Chi Yu's bright eyes. Even when doing something explicit, his gaze remained direct and lucid, pure as ice and jade.

Although Xie Xiyi usually dominated the situation, occasionally, at times like this, he would let Chi Yu take the top.

He appeared fragile-looking but was as tough and unyielding as a rock, with sharp claws that drew blood upon touch. When Chi Yu was unwilling, he could even resist the cravings from Spiritual Communion. When he was willing, even when underneath, he could be fierce and aggressive like a tiger or leopard, leaving countless bloody scratches on Xie Xiyi's broad, pale shoulders and back.

Xie Xiyi loved it when Chi Yu left marks on him—the bloodier, the better.

Even being burned by his true yang brought him immense pleasure.

Unable to kill, Xie Xiyi instead grew fond of bloody intimacy. Like now, he quietly reversed the law, his scorching body instantly turning cold, and the innermost part of him began to melt, dripping blood. Because Chi Yu had a high body temperature, he didn’t notice at first, panting as he pressed his palms against Xie Xiyi’s beautifully defined abs. Feeling Xie Xiyi’s jade-like skin melt and sink like ice, dark blood splattering and flowing, Chi Yu shuddered, his golden eyes clearing instantly. Trembling with anger, he demanded, "Brother Xuan Ji, what are you doing?" He stopped moving, his eyes almost spitting fire.

"Just keep going like this," Xie Xiyi thrust upward. He held Chi Yu’s hand, and before the blood could drip onto the sheets, he gathered it with his fingers and smeared it across his chest. The thick scent of blood surged, making him squint in intoxication, his handsome cheeks flushing with excitement. His pleasant voice filled with pleasure, he coaxed, "It feels good, really satisfying, Chi Yu. Just like this, don’t worry. It won’t break—it’s constantly healing."

Chi Yu, noticing that Xie Xiyi was indeed trembling with pleasure: "..."

What to do when Brother Xuan Ji is a certified madman?

    Cat.exe has crashed.jpg

Chi Yu had had enough and roared, "Change back!!! Who wants a poisoned dick!!! My stomach hurts!!! If you don’t change back, we’re breaking up!!! Divorce!!!"

Xie Xiyi paused, reversed the law again, and his body became burning hot once more.

Chi Yu touched his abs, relieved they were no longer melting, and dared to continue moving.

Glancing at Xie Xiyi, he saw him close his eyes, smearing the dark blood from his abdomen to his neck, and finally covering his face with blood-stained hands, cupping his mouth and nose to inhale the scent of his own blood before becoming excited and joyful again, thrusting wildly upward. Chi Yu: "..."

    This wasn’t lovemaking—it was a murder scene.

Only he could put up with this.

Thinking this, Chi Yu’s anger subsided, replaced by a sense of sweetness and pride.

He and Brother Xuan Ji were truly a match made in heaven.

    Chi Yu: "..."

Chi Yu felt like slapping himself.

    *

A month later, during the National Day holiday.

Chi Yu told his grandparents he was going back to the Haoyuan Realm with Xie Xiyi for a visit.

Now that Xie Xiyi could travel between the two worlds, the earlier problem of having to choose one world to live in was resolved. Chi Yu could also continue cultivating. Even if he didn’t ascend, reaching the Tribulation Stage would grant him a lifespan of five thousand years.

After all, Chinese history spans only five thousand years—this was more than enough.

Once one ascends to immortality and reaches the celestial realm, returning home is basically impossible.

After all, small towns are easier to handle (lol)

Chi Yu was already very satisfied.

He still had plenty of Ling Hezhou's assets stored in his spatial ring, and he had also purchased numerous pills to give to his grandparents.

But since he could now return to the Haoyuan Realm, why not have Du Ya make top-tier Longevity Pills? One pill could extend their lifespan by five hundred years.

Hmm, when giving them to his grandparents, he should still ask first—what if they didn’t want to live that long?

Chi Yu brought souvenirs for his friends—various electronic gadgets and fully charged high-capacity power banks.

He also wanted to show Suoluo Qiye and the others something new, to broaden their horizons.

Xie Xiyi saw how thoughtful he was and said nothing.

Although Chi Yu was now the Heavenly Dao of the Haoyuan Realm, most of his duties were handled by a fragment of law imbued with the will of the demonic Xie Xiyi. Though that will was as profound as Buddhist bones, after thousands of years of nurturing, it would evolve into a new Heavenly Dao.

Xie Xiyi could reclaim control over the Heavenly Dao at any time. What harm was there in having an extra worker?

The laws of both worlds were fully accessible to him, allowing him to travel freely between them.

    Earth’s Heavenly Dao: Powerless Rage.jpg

It could only comfort itself with an Ah Q mentality: Whatever, whatever. No matter how powerful this person becomes, he’s still hooked on an Earthling—so technically, he’s my son-in-law XD

Xiao Qiu was now addicted to video games and didn’t want to return to the Haoyuan Realm with Chi Yu. He had even neglected his cultivation. Fortunately, having obtained the purest Buddhist bones from the other Xie Xiyi, even without practicing, the bones absorbed spiritual energy from the spirit stones in the house to cultivate automatically—allowing him to level up in his sleep.

Chi Yu returned to the Haoyuan Realm with Xie Xiyi, laden with bags, and found the spiritual energy at least ten times stronger. Upon asking, he learned that the battle for the Heavenly Dao had killed many creatures and cultivators.

Ordinary people were mostly unaffected, as their living areas contained almost no spiritual energy, so no spiritual storms occurred. However, the prolonged and intense earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in the cultivation world still impacted the Mortal Dynasty, causing some casualties.

Chi Yu distributed local specialties to Du Ya and Xiao Jingyu, and left messages for Suoluo Qiye and the others. Wu Yunsu rushed over as soon as he heard the news, and upon learning they could travel between the two worlds, immediately wanted to go back with them.

Chi Yu instinctively looked at Xie Xiyi, who gave him a tight smile in return.

    Chi Yu: "..."

He swallowed hard and telepathically whispered to Xie Xiyi, "Actually, it’s fine. It’ll keep Xiao Qiu company, and we can send them both to school."

Xie Xiyi coldly laughed, "One after another. Let me remind you—Earth’s environment can’t support too many Nascent Soul cultivators."

Chi Yu: "Just this one, I promise. Wu Yunsu will be the last."

Xie Xiyi didn’t object. Truthfully, if Chi Yu wanted it, he didn’t want to disappoint him.

Thus, Wu Yunsu earned a ticket to Chi Yu’s home.

Du Ya, listening nearby, grew excited and wanted to go too. This time, Chi Yu politely declined, "If you go, won’t His Majesty have to go as well? But the Yu Dynasty can’t afford to be without its ruler even for a day. I’ll take you another time when there’s an opportunity."

Du Ya thought it over and agreed, setting aside the idea and turning his full attention to the incredibly sleek gadget in his hands.

Accidentally pressing the camera button, his stunningly beautiful face appeared on the screen. "Wow!!! What is this, what is this, what is this???"

He exclaimed excitedly, all dignity forgotten, the large golden earrings on his ears tinkling lightly with his movements.

Chi Yu leaned over to teach him, "This is a camera. You can take pictures of yourself."

He took the phone, raised his arm, and snapped a photo of the two of them. Then, he opened the photo album—two vastly different yet equally gorgeous faces appeared on the screen. The Haoyuan Realm’s spiritual energy was dense, and the natural lighting was excellent. Chi Yu took a great photo and, never one to boast, casually sent it to his WeChat group.

Du Ya gasped in amazement, "Wow!!!!!!"

He snatched the phone, turned into a streak of light, and shot toward the main hall, eager to show it to His Majesty.

Chi Yu watched him vanish and sighed, "...Brother Du Ya is too impatient. I haven’t even taught him how to play all the games I downloaded. Oh well, a camera is enough to keep him busy."

He pulled out his own phone and called Wu Yunsu over. "Let’s take a photo together too."

Wu Yunsu naturally agreed. He was still dressed in light clothing adorned with silver accessories in Miao ethnic style, his striking features accentuated by eyes that looked slightly purple under the light. He was taller than Chi Yu, so he crouched down slightly to match Chi Yu’s height.

Noticing the distance between them, Chi Yu casually slung an arm around his shoulder and snapped photo after photo. With such good looks, no special angles were needed—every shot came out beautifully. Chi Yu took over a dozen photos in a row.

Xie Xiyi stood nearby, arms crossed, silently watching them take pictures.

Chi Yu glanced at him, smiled, and handed him the phone. "Brother Xuan Ji, take a few steps back and capture us along with the back garden and pavilion eaves. I’m sure you can take a perfect tourist photo for us!"

What could Xie Xiyi say? He simply smirked, picked up the phone, and started taking photos.

After a few shots, Chi Yu strode over, wrapped his arms around Xie Xiyi’s slender waist, and looked at the phone in his hand, praising enthusiastically, "These are amazing! As expected of Brother Xuan Ji—truly a master of all trades!"

He then called Wu Yunsu over and handed him the phone. "Now, Little Wu, you take a photo of us. Do you know how?"

Wu Yunsu glanced at Xie Xiyi, whose lips curved into a natural, pleased smile, and replied, "I do."

Chi Yu jumped onto Xie Xiyi’s back, his face glowing with energy—a stark contrast to the forced smiles in earlier photos with Wu Yunsu and Du Ya. "Brother Xuan Ji, say eggplant~!"

Xie Xiyi held his hips, a smile spreading across his face. His sharp, intense eyes softened into a pool of spring water, brimming with tenderness.

Wu Yunsu gently tapped the screen, clearly capturing this beautiful moment.

On the first day of Earth’s National Day holiday, Chi Yu’s elementary, middle, and high school friends, teachers, and relatives all saw the photos he posted.

It wasn’t an exaggeration to say that Chi Yu’s social media feed exploded.

"Who am I? Where am I? One, two, three, four! Four handsome guys!!!!"

"Where did you go, Yu? Why are you wearing ancient costumes? But the fabric looks super high-quality. Must’ve been expensive, right?"

"Oh my god, Chi Yu, are these all your friends? Where did you find so many hot guys???"

"Chi Yu, your face has changed so much! I didn’t even recognize you through all that editing."

"I can confirm—Chi Yu didn’t edit the photos. This is really what he looks like now."

"Who cares about editing? Our little Yu has finally come into his looks."

"Chi Yu, introduce me to the guy with the big golden earrings. He looks wild. If it works out, I’ll send you a matchmaking red envelope!"

"Me too!! I’ve got my eye on the one covered in silver accessories. Wuwuwuwu, Chi Yu, my dear Chi Yu, please introduce us? If it works out, I’ll send you a huge red envelope, and if we have kids, you can be the godfather!"

"Why is everyone picking favorites? Well, I want in too. I want the one you’re riding, Chi Yu. So tall and strong~ Xuan~"

"While everyone’s picking favorites, I’m just worried you’ll get heatstroke in this summer heat. Be careful, Chi Yu. How about this—I’m studying medicine. Give me your friend’s contact info, and if he gets heatstroke, I can video call and guide him through treatment."

"You’re studying medicine? More like you’re studying the Spring and Autumn Annals."

"Damn, little Yu looks so fresh. Back in senior year, we all looked like we’d been drained by ghosts. How are you glowing like this, Chi Yu? Your skin is practically luminous."

Chi Yu casually glanced—the likes had already surpassed a hundred. He scanned the comments, tagged the classmate who had their eye on Xie Xiyi, and replied, "This one’s taken. I’ve already claimed him =v="

Ignoring his stunned classmates, he noticed his mother, who he hadn't seen in years, had commented on his post: "Where are you hanging out? Who's with you?"

Feeling mischievous, Chi Yu replied, "One of them is my boyfriend, Mom. Guess who?"

    Lin Su: "?"

Chi Yu laughed heartily and put down his phone.

Xie Xiyi asked him, "Still playing on your phone?"

Chi Yu said, "Nah, let's go offline."

Xie Xiyi cut off the network. Chuckling, Chi Yu reached out and wrapped his arms around Xie Xiyi's waist, burying his face in his chest.

Xie Xiyi looked down at him and asked, "What's wrong?"

Chi Yu whispered, "Brother Xuan Ji, I think... I really like you."

Xie Xiyi's lips curled into a smile, his voice pleasant as he said, "Then keep liking me longer. If one day you don't..."

Chi Yu lifted his face, his golden eyes fixed on him. "And what happens if I don't?"

Xie Xiyi smiled. "I'll make sure you keep liking me."

    Chi Yu: "..."

Understood. As a conceptual god, Xie Xiyi would punish him hard.

So insane, so domineering, but he liked it.

Well, whatever, for the sake of world peace, he had no choice but to be this guy's wife. XD
