Chapter 65
by AdminChapter 65
Aching waist and sore back.
A raving maddog.
An Earthling lay in bed, gritting his teeth.
His bottom was sore as a blooming flower.
No wife in sight, but a lunatic has arrived.
It's still a case of a male character with a mental illness.
The mad dog didn't cease for a moment all night, it was unclear where he drew such strength and vigor for such antics.
Unable to see the mad dog's expression, he could still vividly envision the insane look on that bastard's face.
The earthling flopped over in bed like a salted fish.
Heaving a sigh of melancholy.
Opening his wristband, he discovered that the Star Network connected automatically, indicating that he was no longer on Wu Star.
With little hope, Lu Wei found an excuse to send a message to Danjiao, hoping he could get in line for a glimpse.
Lu Wei attempted to rise from the bed, but any movement brought pain.
The force with which he had been bitten left marks even on his hand.
It made him wonder if the person had gone centuries without a meal.
After lying in bed and recuperating for a while, he mustered the strength to crawl over to the window for a look.
This was the first time an Earthling had removed the silk covering his eyes, revealing that he was no longer aboard a starship.
Instead, he seemed to be in a place resembling a palace?
Lu Wei was a country boy and found it difficult to articulate, but he could say that it was vastly different from Wu Star, akin to a rural lad stepping into a bustling metropolis.
Initially, he wanted to gather more information by going out, but his lower back felt as if it was about to collapse with each step.
The Earthling could only sit back down.
During this time, the door was pushed open, and a waiter entered.
The waiter bowed respectfully, "Mr. Lu, I have brought a change of clothes for you."
Looking up, Lu Wei replied, "Oh, just put them down there. I'll change later on my own."
The waiter didn't move, maintaining a polite smile as he looked at him.
Lu Wei was puzzled.
Did this guy think he had a good temper just because he wasn't cursing? He was merely too drained to bother, not dead.
The waiter explained, "You'll need to change soon because you have to go out."
The Earthling was skeptical. "Where am I going?"
The waiter still wore a smile. "That cannot be divulged."
On a normal day, Lu Wei might have put up a fight, but he was now devoid of strength and unable to escape.
After changing, the waiter blindfolded him again.
Lu Wei: "…"
Lu Wei: "Is it necessary to keep my eyes covered?"
Servant: "It's an order."
If he refused to be blindfolded, they wouldn't let him leave this shabby room. Reluctantly, Lu Wei gritted his teeth and complied.
He had no idea what material the cloth was made of, but once it was on, it couldn't be removed easily, as if glued to his eyes.
Damn mad dog.
Upon seeing him, it would surely rip him apart.
Lu Wei, with held breath, was led away by the attendant.
They must have boarded some sort of short-range spacecraft, he assumed.
Upon arrival, it was this same attendant who escorted him down. Lu Wei attempted to wriggle free, feeling awkward.
Then he remembered that they were all working hard, each with their own burdens. Life under the tyrant's rule wasn't easy for anyone.
Lu Wei had no idea where they were. The attendant said they had arrived and released him.
Leaving Brother Earth standing there, alone and foolishly bewildered.
The surroundings were eerily quiet, devoid of any sound. Yet, Lu Wei sensed a multitude of unseen people.
As he stood there, clueless and dazed, he finally heard a soft tread of footsteps approaching.
Someone came before him and gently took his hand, leading him forward.
A cool touch.
Familiar warmth.
Lu Wei gritted his teeth in frustration. "I damn well know it's you."
The madman, who had been recognized and scolded, didn't get angry; instead, he laughed with delight.
"It's me."
Lu Wei tried to shake off his hand, but the other person held on with a grip as tight as a vise.
He dragged Lu Wei all the way forward.
Lu Wei knew that the other person had sat down, and then he was maneuvered into sitting as well.
—Right in the man's embrace.
Damn it.
Clenching his teeth, Lu Wei growled, "I'm not sitting! I'm here to settle scores with you!"
Hardly had he managed to sit up when the other person pulled him back down by the waist.
The impact made Elder Brother Lu grit his teeth in pain.
The madman held his hand tightly and spoke in a solemn voice, "Be a good boy."
In all his life, Lu Wei had never been associated with the word "obedient." Hearing this, he felt like lashing out at the speaker.
Lu Wei's tone was impatient, "Let go of me, damn it."
Huo Jin narrowed his eyes, concealing the ferocity in their depths. "Where else do you want to go?"
Lu Wei sighed, genuinely giving up on communicating with this irrational person. It felt like all attempts at conversation were futile.
He reached out in the darkness, touching the madman before giving him a light tap on the head.
"Well, we're going home, aren't we? Where else would we go?"
Seeing the dimming look in the Emperor's eyes and the fact that he had just been struck by this individual, Lu Wei couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions.
The assembled nobles were already drenched in sweat.
The King had always been eccentric, and his mental state had become even more peculiar after the loss of his queen.
Today, he had already astonished everyone by bringing a substitute who bore an eerie resemblance to the queen to the interstellar conference. Now, this individual had the audacity to strike the King right before their eyes.
There was a beauty in his boldness, a fearless naivety as if he didn't recognize the King at all.
They held their breaths, some beginning to whisper discreetly among themselves.
The voice confirmed to Lu Wei that there was indeed someone else present.
His actions inadvertently became more cautious, his inner curses intensifying.
The hand Lu Wei had extended to strike was gently kissed by the madman, "I won't let you go."
Lu Wei: ?
With a cold sneer, Lu Wei replied, "Who are you? You can't just decide whether I can leave or not."
The madman took it for granted, "Here, I'm in charge."
Lu Wei: ...You win.
This was the most unrefutable scene.
Those below, who dared to sneak a glance, all gasped in astonishment.
They had heard that this person came from the Z galaxy.
It was already astonishing enough to learn that His Majesty had taken a liking to this individual. Now, seeing this scene unfolding before their eyes, it was even more stunning.
No one knew where the Z galaxy got the audacity or luck to find someone who bore such a resemblance, even with half their face concealed.
More importantly, this person's temperament was eerily similar to the Queen's.
If not for the fact that His Majesty hadn't bestowed any official title yet, they might have mistaken this person for the Queen herself.
Unaware of what these people were thinking, Lu Wei found himself being stroked on the back by the mad monarch.
Just like last night, the other party seemed to derive great pleasure from stroking him as if he were a cat.
This action was already unbearable, and with his eyes covered, his senses were heightened even more.
"Hisss..."
This Emperor Star's dog of a monarch had finally gone mad after nearly three years of losing his queen.
Now, he was indiscriminately pursuing men.
And Lu Wei happened to be one such unfortunate soul.
- Speaking of which, this guy previously refused to do potato business with him.
New grudges added to old ones.
With great effort, Lu Wei suppressed his urge to strike back. "Why am I blindfolded?"
The royal dog replied, "Guess."
Unable to resist, Lu Wei retorted, "Guess what for?"
The madman chuckled cryptically.
Then, he pinched Lu Wei's chin, "Anyway, you can't see anything with your eyes open."
Lu Wei was quite sensitive to changes in others' emotions. He sensed that there was a hint of pique in the madman's words.
But he had no idea what had provoked it.
After the madman finished speaking, he yawned nonchalantly and then hugged Lu Wei, nuzzling the back of his neck as if no one else was around.
He even kissed the area around the hickeys, turning them redder.
Lu Wei was itching to hit someone.
But Brother Danjiao was still waiting for him.
Taking a few deep breaths, Earth Bro put on a fake smile and asked, "What do I need to do to get you to release me?"
Each word he spoke seemed to step on His Majesty's sensitive nerves.
Upon hearing this, his breathing grew notably heavier.
If the nobles below were aware of Lu Wei's thoughts, they would surely groan in distress. The change in the Emperor's expression was more than just a slight distortion; his eyes had turned crimson, as if he were ready to crush a few innocent children in a fit of rage.
Huo Jin's pupils were dark as obsidian: "Unless I die."
"..." Huh?
---
After the meeting concluded, Lu Wei was escorted back to his room.
His Majesty the Canine was determined not to let him roam freely.
In the morning, he had been taken to a public setting.
And seen by many people.
Thus, the news that the substitute found by Wu Star was about to ascend to power spread rapidly across the planet.
Due to his performance, rumors were now swirling that he was likely to become the second queen.
Lu Wei: ????
A wicked stepson, a terrifying mother-in-law, and an egotistical husband...
Turns out, the evil stepmother was himself.
[Z Star Leader: Mr. Hanbao, are you doing well?]
With the stellar network functioning smoothly, a message popped up.
Damn Z Star System, a bunch of petty people.
And the leader of Z Star System had the audacity to contact him.
[Lu Wei: F*ck^&*#]
[Lu Wei: (This dialogue contains informal and indecorous language which has been automatically censored by the system)]
[Lu Wei: Damn it, where the hell did you dump me? Selling out your fellow residents for personal gain, may you fall from grace sooner rather than later, spit on you!]
The leader over there replied, beads of sweat rolling down his forehead, "That's not something we can decide. Please understand, my apologies. You know, with His Majesty's command, how dare we defy...?"
His bottom was numb and sore, inexplicably subjected to the treatment of being licked like a dog by a madman. Could such an offense be casually swept aside with a mere "I'm sorry"?
Brother Danjiao is still at home, uncared for!
The leader promptly replied, "The child is already under our care. We told him that you're attending a Galactic Gourmet Festival on an outer planet. From the looks of it, the kid doesn't seem too suspicious."
Lu Wei chuckled. "Huh, should I thank you for that?"
Despite the fiery retort, the leader dared not utter another word.
The leader responded, "No need, no need. It's us who should be thanking you. You're the savior of the Zeta Galaxy!"
Lu Wei sneered. "Did you know that this damn king even has a child?"
The leader spoke soothingly, "Didn't you get along well with the children? With your experience in parenting, you'll surely be able to handle the young prince."
[Lu Wei: Don't act crazy here.]
[Lu Wei: As a reward, would you like to try being a stepmother?]
At this point, the leader couldn't help but express concern, "Don't let His Majesty know that you have a child. Otherwise, we're all doomed."
A substitute is one thing.
Having a child is another.
If the emperor found out that Hanbao Castle and others had a child, he would undoubtedly feel deeply humiliated, and their days would be numbered.
[Lu Wei: You damn well separated me from my child just so I could raise someone else's? I @##&* (profanity has been automatically censored by the system).]
The leader knew better than to engage in an argument with this ticking time bomb, fearing the verbal lashing, and thus, quickly logged off.
On Lu Wei's end, he saw the other person's profile turn gray almost instantly.
Damn!
