    ## Chapter 25: The Male Nanny, Xiao Tang

The little one wasn't quite as adaptable to new environments as one might expect.

In his dream, he saw his two daddies. They set him down on the ground, waved goodbye with smiles, and receded further and further into the distance.

Su Youli was jolted awake. When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a completely unfamiliar place.

The little cub rubbed his face and sat up in bed, scanning the room but finding no trace of his two daddies.

Still groggy and not fully awake, Su Youli pouted, then began to whimper softly.

    "...Daddy."

    "You You misses his daddies."

After crying for a while, the unsettled little one fumbled around, eventually finding his Stitch doll on the pillow, along with a small comfort pillow handmade by Su Siwen.

Perhaps the touch of something familiar brought solace, as the little one gradually stopped crying, pressing his cheek against the small pillow.

Su Siwen was skilled with his hands and often made things for Su Youli.

The small comfort pillows came in a set of six—four large and two small. The two smaller ones had accompanied Su Youli to Beicheng.

Shen Minyan opened the door to find his young son, who had apparently woken up at some point, lying on his back in bed.

Propped against a navy blue pillow, he was happily grabbing at his own feet, his socks discarded to the side, seemingly content in his solitary play.

Shen Minyan felt a flicker of bewilderment—was this how children of this age behaved?

He distinctly remembered Shen Lin, as a child, waking up and crying at the top of his lungs, not stopping until he saw Chu Ying.

"You You," Shen Minyan called softly.

Hearing the voice, the little cub, who had been engrossed in play, turned his round eyes towards the sound. Upon recognizing Father Shen, he quickly pulled the blanket over his face.

Shen Minyan sat by the bed, worried his son might suffocate under the blanket.

He clearly sensed the child's dislike for him and dared not easily pull back the covers, fearing Su Youli would cry.

In the end, he had no choice but to call Shen Lin over.

Shen Lin, hearing his younger brother was awake, grumbled while getting dressed, "You You only slept for half an hour—how is he already awake?"

When he pushed open the door, he saw a small mound on the children's bed.

"You You, Gege is here! Let me see what You You is doing!"

To be honest, Shen Lin was in the midst of puberty, and his forced gentle tone sounded a bit grating.

Su Youli, under the blanket, suddenly heard a familiar voice, immediately threw off the covers to look, then scrambled out of bed. "Gege!"

In Yunshui City, his two daddies were the closest people to him.

But here, without his daddies, Big Brother Shen Lin was the closest person.

Children are acutely sensitive to kindness. He crawled to the edge of the bed and reached out, and Shen Lin immediately embraced him.

The freshly awakened little one was exquisitely delicate, like carved pink jade, with large, dewy eyes like grapes. Shen Lin kissed his cheek, finding his younger brother utterly adorable.

After Shen Lin took his brother to the bathroom to wash up and returned, Shen Minyan was still sitting by the bed, lost in thought as he gazed at the luggage that had accompanied Su Youli from Yunshui City.

After washing up and heading downstairs, Shen Lin held his hand and showed him around the house as they walked.

"This is the kitchen. Both the front and back doors lead to the garden. The second floor is where You You and your brothers' rooms are. The third floor is Mom's room..."

Su Youli nodded, only half-comprehending. This house was simply too vast.

He had absorbed so much information today that he couldn't possibly remember it all.

Su Youli clutched his forehead, feeling overwhelmed and dizzy.

"Good afternoon, Young Masters," Zhang Shun greeted, waiting early in the living room.

Su Youli was quite familiar with him. The little one held his brother's hand and, with a beaming smile, called out, "Uncle Zhang."

Zhang Shun crouched down. "You You, this is Uncle Xiao Tang. From now on, he'll be looking after you, alright?"

Su Youli followed his gaze and saw a young man in white clothes with short hair smiling at him.

The little one was a bit bewildered because Uncle Xiao Tang looked very young, not at all like an "uncle." "Uncle Xiao Tang?"

Uncle Xiao Tang smiled, his eyes curving like crescent moons. He crouched in front of the little one and gently straightened his crooked collar. "Hello there, You You."

Su Youli immediately took a liking to Uncle Xiao Tang, who had such a pleasant smile. When Uncle Xiao Tang offered to hold his hand and asked if it was okay, he instantly extended his small hand.

Some people are naturally more charismatic than others, and Xiao Tang was one of them.

Seeing that Xiao Tang had been accepted by the young master, Zhang Shun finally felt relieved.

Xiao Tang took the little one's hand and led him to play by the door. When Zhang Shun turned around, he was met with a furious expression.

    "Who is he?"

With the little one out of sight, Shen Lin immediately reverted to his little tyrant persona.

Watching You You being led away by a man who looked only a few years older than himself, he was so incensed he could grind his teeth.

"Second Young Master, Xiao Tang is a child development expert personally hired by Chairman Shen. He is an outstanding talent who just returned from abroad."

Shen Lin clenched his fist, snorted, and plopped down on the sofa. The sound of Xiao Tang making the little one laugh drifted in, infuriating him enough to hurl a pillow.

"You You only needs me! Get rid of him!" Shen Lin commanded.

Zhang Shun rubbed his forehead. "Second Young Master, you haven't been to school for a week. You can't just stay home and look after a child all the time, can you?"

"What's wrong with taking care of a child? You You is so little—I don't trust anyone else with him!"

Zhang Shun had good reason to suspect that Shen Lin simply didn't want to go to class and was using the young master as a convenient excuse. After all, this little devil was unruly, skipping class and fighting as if it were routine.

Shen Lin sat on the sofa with his arms crossed, occasionally hearing the little one's joyful laughter from the garden.

    *Is he really that happy?*

*How can he play so well with a stranger he just met?* Shen Lin pursed his lips and sourly cursed in his heart, "You little ingrate."

    In the garden.

Xiao Tang held Su Youli's hand. He had been hired at a high salary by Shen Minyan. In China, most nannies or childcare providers are women.

Chairman Shen had exceptionally stringent requirements for the male nanny position for Su Youli. A high academic degree was the bare minimum, along with relevant certifications and fluency in at least three languages...

The detailed requirements filled an entire page, and the gender criteria alone eliminated more than half of the applicants.

The Shen family offered a generous salary, reaching more than ten times the top rate in the industry.

Coincidentally, Tang Dou, who had just graduated abroad and returned to China facing job hunting, came across this recruitment.

The interview process alone consisted of three rounds, with the final round conducted via video call with Chairman Shen himself.

As Tang Dou watched the child squatting in front of him to examine the grass, he could still recall the palpable pressure Chairman Shen exuded during the interview just two days prior, a presence that truly belonged to a powerful figure.

Worried that the child might get numb legs from squatting too long, Tang Dou crouched down and said with a smile, "Shall we go see what's up ahead?"

Su Youli seemed naturally fond of observing plants. The villa's garden was filled with many plants he had never seen before.

With all the stops and starts, they covered only about ten meters in half an hour.
