Chapter 48 You You’s Adventure
byChapter 48: You You's Grand Adventure
Shen Yan, out of sight, blinked. "My tummy, my tummy hurts so much. Can You You get Big Brother's medicine?"
Su Youli was frantic with worry, his large eyes welling up with tears.
"Big Brother's in pain, Big Brother."
Seeing the little one's concern, Shen Yan's heart melted. He clutched his stomach with one hand, leaned back, and slumped to the ground.
The newly crowned film emperor's acting skills were undeniable; the little one was completely taken in, anxiously circling his big brother, his forehead damp with worried sweat.
"You You, can you get Big Brother's medicine?"
Su Youli crouched, his small hand pressed against Shen Yan's stomach, trying to help: "You You will get the medicine for Big Brother!"
The little one was accustomed to caring for Su Siwen at home. He lifted his head, his soft curly hair gleaming chestnut in the sunlight.
Shen Yan found him so adorable he longed to scoop him up and shower him with kisses.
Remembering the task from the production team, he held back, his voice weak: "Big Brother's medicine is in the storage room on the third floor. Can You You find it?"
The third floor was quite a climb for a child not yet four. The highest Su Youli had ever managed was the second floor.
"You You can find it!" the little one declared with full confidence.
Shen Yan's hands trembled as he pulled a black walkie-talkie from behind him, his voice faint: "Take this so you can talk to me. Go on."
With that, Shen Yan closed his eyes, slumped over, and feigned unconsciousness.
The little one's eyes widened. He pounded Shen Yan's shoulders with both hands, crying loudly: "Big Brother, Big Brother!"
The little one's insistent pats hurt Shen Yan's shoulders. He opened his eyes slightly, reaching out weakly: "Medicine... hurry and find the medicine."
The little one sprang up, grabbed his small backpack, and tucked the walkie-talkie into his chest pocket.
After running a few steps, he suddenly stopped and looked back, as if hesitating.
The people watching the monitor murmured, "I told you You You would see through it, didn't I?"
"Sigh, three-year-olds aren't so easy to fool anymore."
Under everyone's watchful eyes, the little one scurried back, took off his small backpack, pulled out a Stitch water bottle, and laid it beside Shen Yan's face.
"Big Brother, this is water," the little one said, pressing the button to reveal the straw. Su Youli aimed the straw at Shen Yan's mouth.
The thoughtful little adult also retrieved a small sun-protection jacket from his backpack, shook it open, and draped it over Shen Yan's face.
This way, Big Brother wouldn't get sunburned.
The little one thought he was incredibly clever.
Under the jacket, Shen Yan's lips twitched slightly.
The group in front of the monitor shook with laughter, unable to contain themselves.
"What *doesn't* You You have in his backpack?"
"How can a three-year-old be so caring? He's too well-behaved!"
Tang Dou watched the little one's meticulous actions with immense pride.
He was the one who usually packed Su Youli's backpack. Since it was summer and the UV rays were strong, the sun-protection jacket was a necessity for the little one when going out.
After completing his tasks, Su Youli took two steps but then ran back again, gazing at the lush garden and the distant forest.
"Will Big Brother get bitten by a snake?" The little one rummaged in his backpack again, pulling out a small spray bottle that his older brother Tang had prepared for him.
*Surely he'll go now*, Shen Yan thought, finding it hard to maintain his act.
"Cough... cough... give me... medicine," the man under the jacket rasped weakly.
Su Youli clenched his small fists, turned, and ran towards the house, finally embarking on his adventure.
The door was slightly ajar, but the little one pushed with all his might and couldn't open it.
The butler, hiding behind the door, pulled it open, and the little one slipped through the gap.
First obstacle cleared. Su Youli stood in the empty house, gazing up at the seemingly endless staircase.
"You You can do it!"
The little one's self-encouraging voice reached everyone's ears, melting their hearts once more.
Huffing and puffing, the little one didn't slacken, climbing step by step.
Based on Su Youli's usual strength and energy, when fully rested, he could climb half the stairs in one go, then pause to rest before tackling the remaining half.
But he had already expended considerable energy, so by the tenth step, he was already panting heavily.
The butler and Auntie Jiang, hidden in the corner, watched the little master's trembling body, feeling a pang of sympathy.
"You You, keep going!" The little one's small hand gripped the railing, and he huffed and puffed his way up several more steps.
Tang Dou pressed his lips together in silence. He was Su Youli's caregiver, and he knew exactly the little one's capabilities.
In the footage, Su Youli had forgotten all about his small backpack. Its strap hung crookedly on his shoulder, his face was flushed, and a few strands of hair, damp with sweat, clung to his forehead.
Tang Dou felt a pang of heartache. "The third floor is too high. There's also a storage room on the second floor. Can we change the location?"
The production team was hesitant. The mission was already underway. If they suddenly changed the location, wouldn't the earlier filming be exposed?
Tang Dou frowned, about to say more, when he saw the little one in the footage pull out the walkie-talkie from his pocket.
"You You, cough cough, Big Brother got the place wrong. It's not the third floor, it's... the second floor..."
Su Youli had already reached the third step of the third floor. Holding the walkie-talkie, which was bigger than his face, he asked in a milky voice, "Big Brother, which floor is it *really*?"
The little one was getting angry, alright!
*Big Brother is so silly.*
*He doesn't even know where his own medicine is.*
Shen Yan, having been scolded, secretly smiled, quickly switching off the walkie-talkie.
Su Youli sighed and resignedly descended the third-floor staircase.
The second floor was an area the little one was somewhat familiar with. The second room at the staircase corner was his, next to Big Brother and Second Brother's rooms.
"But... where is the warehouse?"
The little one was tired from walking, his small legs aching. He squatted by the wall, holding the walkie-talkie with both hands, saying in a soft, childlike voice, "Big Brother, where is the warehouse?"
There was no response from Big Brother; the walkie-talkie was silent.
"Big Brother." The little one patted the walkie-talkie with his small hand.
After calling out "Big Brother" a few more times into the walkie-talkie, Su Youli concluded it was broken. He tossed the walkie-talkie by the wall in annoyance and continued along the wall himself.
In the few minutes the little one waited for the walkie-talkie to make a sound, everyone could only helplessly facepalm.
Shen Yan had completely forgotten to teach Su Youli how to use the walkie-talkie.
"You You, You You."
After Su Youli walked away, his small figure growing smaller and smaller, a faint, deep male voice emanated from the wall.
The situation was downright absurd; the camera cut away.
On the other side, Shen Yan lifted the sun shirt covering his face, sat cross-legged on the ground, picked up the Stitch-themed kids' water bottle, and took a few sips of water.
The morning breeze brushed his cheeks, and he thought to himself, *being cared for by my little brother feels pretty amazing.*
