Chapter 9: Tongue
byChapter 9: Tongue
Cai Gu had been struggling at first, but upon hearing this, he resignedly lowered his head and sighed silently to himself.
Seeing that he wasn't moving, Jiang Yu smugly let go of the back of his neck and gently brushed aside the short hairs there, revealing that smooth, slender nape.
The annoying wound on it had vanished, restored to its usual smoothness. Jiang Yu lightly stroked it with his fingertip, searching for that withered gland.
Cai Gu felt an itchy feeling and was about to curl up when Jiang Yu forcefully held him down, forcing him to expose his most vulnerable spot.
Cai Gu urged in a low voice, "Hurry up. Your leg's too hard."
Jiang Yu's leg was digging into his muscles, making it uncomfortable to lie on.
Jiang Yu's breathing grew heavier. He inexplicably wanted to say something even more outrageous, but ultimately held back and focused all his attention on the gland.
Jiang Yu lowered his head, his nose tip touching that sensitive skin, and his warm breath wafted over it. He sniffed obsessively, catching a faint, delicate scent—not emanating from the gland, but from his flesh.
That thin layer of skin could be bitten through easily.
Jiang Yu's Adam's apple bobbed. In his mind, he pictured Cai Gu on his husband's bed—if he were bitten painfully, he could have fought back, given his build, and thrown his husband off.
But he didn't. He just docilely let that filthy security guard Beta bite him.
At that thought, Jiang Yu felt bothered. Why could his husband bite him while he couldn't? And he was even younger than that husband.
Jiang Yu thought his reasoning was perfectly sound. Besides, that old man had also hurt his leg—wasn't it only fair for him to get a bite?
Cai Gu, lying on the young man's lap, could barely breathe. He could only open his mouth to inhale air and said with difficulty, "Aren't you done checking yet? I didn't let him bite me... Ah!"
Suddenly, Cai Gu felt a sticky sensation on the back of his neck. The other person, like a dog, wetly licked his nape.
Cai Gu opened his eyes wide in disbelief, forcefully broke free from Jiang Yu's embrace, stumbled, and sat down in the gap between the seats. Because his butt was too plump, it got stuck right in the middle.
He lifted his head. His face was already flushed from the difficulty in breathing, his lips parted, saliva lingering at the corners of his mouth, and the red tip of his tongue faintly visible.
Jiang Yu's red eyes showed a hint of fascination. Cai Gu's face was perfectly suited for that expression—the fine lines at the corners of his eyes paired with his teary, downcast eyes looked erotic.
As if driven by instinct, he reached out to touch the corner of Cai Gu's eye, but the other suddenly slapped him.
The crisp sound of the slap echoed in the car. Jiang Yu's head turned to the side, and he happened to meet the gaze of the driver, who was watching the spectacle.
Jiang Yu covered his slapped red face, pushed his tongue into his cheek, and glared at the driver with his red eyes.
Silently, the driver raised the partition, sealing off the back seat.
Jiang Yu gave a cold laugh. "You actually dared to hit me. No one has ever hit me since I was little. You're the first."
Cai Gu covered the back of his neck with his hand, his eyes still moist at the corners, and defended himself in a low voice, "You licked me first. How could you lick me?"
Cai Gu dared not think too much. Even if he was slow to catch on and older in age, he knew how important the shrunken gland on the back of his neck was.
Jiang Yu lost it at his question. His red hair seemed to bristle. "Why can your husband bite, but I can't even lick? Tell me!"
Cai Gu was dumbfounded by the question. He stared helplessly, his expression clearly saying, "Do you even know what you're saying?"
The more Jiang Yu thought about it, the more wronged he felt. He pouted. "I was just checking whether you were lying to me. If I didn't do this, who knows if the two of you secretly hooked up last night, and if he secretly bit your gland."
For Cai Gu, Jiang Yu was still too young, with the temperament of a child. He sighed, supported himself on the seat to sit up, and said gently, "I'm sorry. I thought... I thought you were trying to..."
Cai Gu couldn't even bring himself to say "mark." He must have misjudged Jiang Yu.
Jiang Yu turned away with a snort. "Hah, you think I want something from you?"
Cai Gu was flustered. He placed his hand on Jiang Yu's wrist and gently pulled it aside, revealing half of Jiang Yu's face. The red mark on that side was clearly visible, making Cai Gu feel guilty.
He sat in the seat, leaned slightly, and blew air onto Jiang Yu's face. He touched it with his fingers, and his dry fingers made Jiang Yu cringe, even his ears going bright red.
Cai Gu looked at his ears with confusion. "Did I hit your ear?"
Jiang Yu, embarrassed and angry, grabbed his hand and raised his eyebrows high. "Shut up. It has nothing to do with you."
Hearing that he hadn't caused it, he let out a long sigh of relief. After all, one more red swollen spot might cost him more money.
Cai Gu sat nervously in his seat. He looked out the window at the scenery receding, the buildings growing more unfamiliar, and his eyes were bewildered. It only then hit him that he hadn't yet asked Jiang Yu where they were going.
Cai Gu sneaked a glance at Jiang Yu. The young man had a hot temper, freshly slapped, with the handprint still lingering on his face, looking very unhappy.
He didn't dare to speak again and sat obediently in his seat. It'd be fine, right?
He was old and a Beta. No one would bother scheming against him.
When the car stopped, Cai Gu was still blank-faced. Only when Jiang Yu snapped his fingers in front of him, tilting his head, making his gold earring sway, did he say, "Aren't you getting out?"
Cai Gu said "Oh" and obediently climbed out of the car. The driver, poker-faced and ignoring the red mark on his young master's face, took out a wheelchair from the trunk and helped him sit in it. "Young Master, I'll wait outside for you."
The driver, showing good judgment, shoved the wheelchair at Cai Gu.
Jiang Yu lifted his chin arrogantly. "What are you standing there for? Push me in."
Cai Gu resignedly pushed him in. Cai Gu had never been here; the buildings were completely foreign to him. He curiously observed the building in front of them. As soon as he entered, a blast of cold air made Jiang Yu's hair stand up.
Cai Gu silently smoothed it down for him.
Jiang Yu pointed, signaling Cai Gu to push him that way. As soon as they approached, a shop assistant eagerly greeted them, "Master Jiang, how can I help you?"
Jiang Yu angled his chin, looking at Cai Gu. "You, pick out some clothes for him."
Cai Gu, who had been standing in a daze, noticed the shop assistant's enthusiastic gaze and instinctively backed away. "Ah? Me?"
He waved his hands quickly. "No need. I've got enough clothes."
Jiang Yu deliberately showed off his red-marked face to Cai Gu and threatened him maliciously, "Don't forget the job."
Cai Gu immediately gave up resisting. He was like a lump of dough as the smiling assistant led him to the changing room and then handed him an armful of clothes.
Jiang Yu waited outside, chin in hand, texting Wang Wei back.
[Wang Wei]: Boss, someone broke into the church last night, tried to kill Yue Jin. They say one assassin got away, and Yue Jin's hunting him down.
[Shan Yu]: He's still alive? What a shame.
[Wang Wei]: Right? Why didn't they off him? Those Blue Luo Religion old farts are idiots. Should've sent more guys.
[Wang Wei]: Boss, for the Jingzhai Festival, who are you sending? Your new stepmom's busy duking it out with mistress four and five.
[Shan Yu]: I've already found someone.
The moment Jiang Yu sent that, the shop assistant rushed over. "Master Jiang, he's done changing."
There was still some excitement in the shop assistant's eyes. Jiang Yu had previously instructed her to match outfits as she pleased, and Cai Gu had a curvaceous figure, with a well-defined chest and hips—but his personality was incredibly soft and he couldn't refuse anyone.
He would look good in anything.
And being brought to the store by Master Jiang meant he had already built a good relationship with him.
The shop assistant subconsciously regarded Cai Gu as Jiang Yu's new stepmother, and couldn't help but inwardly sigh at what seemed like such a harmonious mother-son relationship.
When Cai Gu came out, he felt extremely uncomfortable. The deep V-neck fully exposed his wheat-colored chest muscles, the waist was cinched very tightly, and because of his excellent waist-to-hip ratio, the hips felt tight against the fabric.
But the outfit outlined the shape of his round buttocks, and with every step he took, his buttocks would gently sway, looking particularly noticeable.
Anyone who looked at him could tell this was quite a seductive, mature man with rich experience.
Cai Gu tugged at the hem of the clothes uncomfortably. The garment was too light and felt like it would ride up. He didn't understand at all why Jiang Yu had brought him to this kind of place.
He bent over, using one hand to cover his chest in a futile attempt, and spoke to Jiang Yu, who was sitting in the wheelchair: "Can we leave now? I don't need these clothes."
Jiang Yu lowered his eyes. Even though Cai Gu deliberately used his hand to cover, the delicate skin was still visible through his fingers. "Change him to something with a higher neckline. He's too exposed."
Jiang Yu ignored him and spoke directly to the shop assistant.
The shop assistant wore a respectful smile on her face: "Master Jiang, this gentleman's figure is too good. Some clothes might not suit him, but this dress is quite suitable for him."
The shop assistant took down a white dress from the nearby rack. The dress had a very full hem, with a beautiful rose pinned to the belt.
When Jiang Yu saw the dress, his eyes visibly lit up. Noticing his gaze, Cai Gu felt his scalp tingle. He mustered his courage to refuse: "I don't want to wear a dress."
"Don't want to wear it?" Jiang Yu slowly repeated the words, savoring each word.
"Don't want to wear what I bought for you? Whose clothes do you want to wear? Your useless husband's?"
Cai Gu didn't know why Jiang Yu always fixated on his husband. Did he have a grudge against the captain?
He frowned, looking aggrieved, and his eyebrows drooped unconsciously.
Jiang Yu leaned back against the wheelchair, lifted his gaze, and released his pungent, bloody pheromones around him, concentrating them to envelop Cai Gu: "Since you want to know, I'll tell you. For this Jingzhai Festival, I need you to pretend to be my mother and help me get through it without raising suspicion."
"And you have no right to refuse."
Jiang Yu took off the rose from his belt and tucked it into the end of Cai Gu's hair, showing Cai Gu his malice and dominance.
Author's note: Here’s a picture of the aggrieved mother wearing only a rose.
