Chapter 21: Surveillance

Cai Gu covered his chest with his hand and said helplessly, "Don't get the wrong idea."

The inside of his arm happened to press against his chest muscles, revealing a gap in the middle, and his wheat-colored, delicate skin was about to bulge out from the collar.

Jiang Yu ground his sharp fangs, and a bloody scent of pheromones burst forth, enveloping Cai Gu. With chest muscles this big, even he was drooling like a dog; how could his husband resist biting?

Just thinking that Cai Gu was willing to give himself to that filthy captain, yet when he only wanted a bite, he was refused.

Why? Just because the security captain is his husband?

Sooner or later, he would separate them!

The more Jiang Yu thought about it, the angrier he got. He didn't even notice his sharp fangs piercing his lip until his chin was pinched and a wet wipe was pressed against his mouth.

Cai Gu looked serious: "Don't bite. You've torn the skin."

His lips were torn by the two sharp fangs, turning bloody and torn, but the teenager stubbornly refused to back down and stared at him defiantly.

Cai Gu sighed helplessly. He knelt beside the bed, glanced at the homework on the table, and decided to take a step back and not argue with the kid. "If you get first place in the next physiology exam, I'll let you bite."

"But you can't cheat."

Jiang Yu's mouth curved downward again. With blood in his mouth, he muttered indistinctly, "I never cheat."

He would go check the rankings of the last physiology exam and teach everyone ahead of him a lesson so they wouldn't take the next exam, and he would naturally be first.

Only after wiping all the blood from his lips did Cai Gu breathe a sigh of relief. He patted Jiang Yu's fluffy red hair like petting a dog.

Cai Gu rose slightly and pressed his forehead against Jiang Yu's, feeling his temperature. It was finally cooler than before. He pursed his lips and gave a relaxed smile: "Great, your rut is almost over."

They were very close, and Jiang Yu could see his curly, thick eyelashes. His skin was no longer as tight and delicate as a young man's, but the fine lines that were quite appealing.

Jiang Yu stuck out his tongue and licked the outer corner of Cai Gu's eye, mumbling, "Who said I'm okay? I'm clearly not."

Cai Gu fell into the soft quilt, his hands pinned down by Jiang Yu, unable to move.

Jiang Yu looked at Cai Gu, now covered in his own pheromones, with satisfaction. He leaned over Cai Gu and sniffed him, saying matter-of-factly, "So you still have to help me."

The corner of the bed curtain was lifted, and fabric piled around the ankles was vaguely visible.

After who knows how long, it finally ended. Cai Gu had wanted to tell Jiang Yu to be careful not to get his pants dirty, but as soon as the teenager touched Cai Gu's body, he couldn't stop. The skirt that should have been returned to Jiang Yu was back on Cai Gu.

Cai Gu put the dirty clothes into a bag. Before leaving, he didn't forget to pat Jiang Yu's head as he sat cross-legged on the bed, reminding him, "If your teeth itch, chew on a cracker. After the rut is over, go back to class. No more days off."

"Also," Cai Gu's hand rested on the door handle. He turned around and said in a gentle tone, "Study hard and get first place next time."

The dormitory door closed, but Jiang Yu stood frozen in place, only able to hear the thumping sound of his heart in his chest.

Cai Gu came out of the elevator carrying the bag. Before he had gone far, he was bumped into by the dorm supervisor who was pulling a cart with his head down, and the boxes on the cart scattered all over the floor.

Cai Gu quickly put the bag on the ground and apologized hurriedly, "Sorry, sorry. I'll help you put them back now."

The dorm supervisor silently crouched to the side, watching Cai Gu bend over to pick up the boxes. He took out his phone from his pocket, slowly extended it under Cai Gu's skirt, and snapped a picture.

Cai Gu was completely unaware. Panting lightly, he arranged all the boxes and wiped the fine sweat from his forehead. "The boxes shouldn't be damaged."

The dorm supervisor looked Cai Gu up and down contemptuously. Indeed, he was dressed completely differently from when he first entered the dorm. Ever since he found out that Cai Gu came to the dorm to offer special services to those rich Alphas, he had looked down on him.

The dorm supervisor put away his phone and said coldly, "Watch where you're going next time."

Cai Gu's originally bright eyes dimmed. He clutched his skirt, not understanding why the dorm supervisor, who had been friendly before, had changed so much.

He thought he must have done something wrong. He mumbled an obedient reply, stepped back, and quickly ran away.

The dorm supervisor watched Cai Gu's retreating figure, feeling a strange sense of satisfaction. So he was so easy to bully. If he were to cover his mouth, lock him in the office, and do whatever he wanted, he probably wouldn't resist either.

At worst, he could just pay him after. It's all for sale anyway, so why couldn't he sell to him?

The dorm supervisor's body burned with the fantasy in his mind. Impatiently, he pulled out his phone and opened the photo he had just taken. Before he could see it clearly, Yue Xun appeared from a corner and snatched it away.

Yue Xun looked at the photo on the screen. The resolution was poor and grainy, but he could vaguely see the outline of legs. The plump thigh flesh was pressed against something, as if it might overflow between one's fingers.

A little above the knee, clear red finger marks remained.

Yue Xun's eyes darkened, and he gave a faint, unsettling smile, but the veins on the back of his hands bulged. It seems this security guard has slept with more than just his brother.

He only rejected me.

Seeing Yue Xun's ugly expression, the dorm supervisor broke out in a cold sweat. He knew he couldn't afford to provoke any student in the school.

The dorm supervisor trembled and was about to explain, but Yue Xun raised his hand to interrupt him: "Who allowed you to let him in? If something gets lost in the dorm, are you responsible?"

Yue Xun transferred Cai Gu's photo to his own phone and also scrolled through the dorm supervisor's album. Finding no other photos, he kicked the dorm supervisor in the chest, sending him to the ground.

The dorm supervisor curled up in pain, unable to speak. Yue Xun threw the phone at his face, stepped over his body, and walked away, brushing off his hands.

Since Cai Gu wanted customers so badly, he would go to the forum and give him some publicity.

Because of the dorm supervisor's words, Cai Gu was in low spirits all the way. He walked slowly toward the security booth, holding the strap of his bag with his head down.

He fidgeted with his fingers and couldn't help sighing, even thought about turning back to ask the dorm supervisor.

As soon as Cai Gu looked up, he saw Yue Jin standing at the door, looking at his phone. As if sensing something, he looked up sharply.

Cai Gu knew he couldn't be dejected in front of the kid. He forced himself to perk up and quickly ran toward Yue Jin.

"Why didn't you wait inside? It's so hot outside. Don't get sunburned."

Seeing the fine sweat on his forehead, Cai Gu took out a handkerchief with concern.

After finally getting his sweat wiped by Cai Gu, Yue Jin narrowed his golden eyes contentedly. He followed Cai Gu into the security booth and pressed Cai Gu's large palm: "Actually..."

Before he could finish, Cai Gu pulled his hand away and pointed in surprise at the collapsed cot on the floor. He blinked and then looked at Yue Jin blankly.

Yue Jin said without batting an eye: "I was just about to tell you about this. Maybe the security captain's skills aren't good. As soon as I came in, I saw the cot had collapsed."

Cai Gu looked at the bed legs broken into several pieces. He squatted down, pressing down his skirt, and poked the wobbling cot with his hand. The cot collapsed even more.

Cai Gu furrowed his dark brows and bit his full lip, coming to a serious conclusion: "Do you think your little brother came in and broke it?"

"That's really too much." Cai Gu muttered a weak curse. To buy this cot, he had used up all his precious coupons.

"Probably." Yue Jin reacted quickly, catching onto Cai Gu's words. With downcast eyes, he looked especially hurt: "When I was little, he used to bully me a lot."

He hugged Cai Gu from behind, resting his chin on Cai Gu's shoulder, and clearly saw the bite mark left on Cai Gu's shoulder.

He gently rubbed the mark with his finger: "And I watched a horror movie this afternoon. It was really scary. I want to sleep with you."

Cai Gu had no objection to sleeping in the same bed with Yue Jin. To him, Yue Jin and Jiang Yu were nothing more than Alphas who had just come of age, still children.

Cai Gu still had concerns: “The bed is too small, will it affect your sleep?”

Yue Jin trapped Cai Gu in his arms with an extremely possessive posture. His hand loosely gripped the back of the other’s neck. The Beta was oblivious, completely unaware that his most fragile scent gland was exposed to the young man.

“How could it be…” Yue Jin’s lips curled into a smile, half of his face hidden in the shadows. “Sleeping next to you puts me most at ease.”

If only they could be forever connected, like conjoined twins. No…

Yue Jin’s hand slowly rested on Cai Gu’s lower abdomen. Through the fabric, he felt the flat abdominal muscles beneath his palm, radiating intense heat.

Even conjoined twins would one day be separated. Only a child growing inside him, carrying half of Cai Gu’s blood, could stay with Cai Gu forever.

The folding bed was beyond repair. Cai Gu was exasperated by the pile of scrap metal, but Yue Jin was very eager, quickly helping Cai Gu clean up the folding bed, pack it up, and throw it into the trash.

He even watched with satisfaction as the garbage truck took it away.

Yue Jin could not hide the joy on his face. He clapped his hands and turned around to see Cai Gu standing at the door, looking at him thoughtfully.

Yue Jin’s hand froze, thinking he had been caught, but Cai Gu only stroked his soft golden hair, indulgently: “I’ll replace the bed with a bigger one later, so it won’t be cramped for two people.”

Cai Gu did not tell Yue Jin that the security booth actually had surveillance cameras. Afraid that other things in the booth might be damaged, he deliberately reviewed the footage. Throughout the whole afternoon, only Yue Jin had entered and left the security booth.

It's fine.

Cai Gu sighed inwardly. After all, he looked so pitiful — just wanting to sleep in the same bed as him, what was wrong with that?
