"When did I take any drug... You drugged me!"

Bai Yeye's heart raced. The last time he took a potion was the one Bai Ruoshui gave him to suppress his human form. How did Wu Shao know about that?

Shen Yu didn't press the issue. He stared at Wu Shao. "What do you want?"

Wu Shao pointed to two cups of wine on the table. "This is the chance Bai Ruoshui mentioned. Shen Yu, one of these cups has poison, the other doesn't. If you drink one, I'll help you save people. Of course, you could choose not to drink, and then you can leave right now with him and never step foot here again."

Bai Yeye gritted his teeth. So that's why he made me weak—he was afraid I'd jump in and take the cup! Because Wu Shao knows I'm immune to all poisons.

Shen Yu showed no fear. "Deal."

"Looks like General Shen's luck isn't great—you picked the poisoned one." Wu Shao sighed hypocritically.

"Shen Yu!" Bai Yeye was on the verge of tears. How could this happen?

Wu Shao dragged Bai Yeye in front of him and handed him a knife.
