Chapter 5: Yeye Is Angry!

"Bad Yeye, why did you run off like that? Dad and the others are very worried about you; they've been searching for you." Even when Bai Ruoshui was scolding, his voice was gentle and completely lacking in intimidation.

Bai Yeye lay in his arms, wagging his tail: "I wanted to go out and play. Don't tell Dad, okay? Please, good second brother."

Bai Ruoshui had a headache from it. Unless he tied Bai Yeye up, he would definitely run away again. Keeping him tied up permanently wasn't practical either; it would be better to indulge him this time. Maybe he wouldn't run away again after that.

Bai Yeye jumped up: "You just said one month! How did it shrink to this?"

He'd take what he could get for now; as for the extra time, he could just run away later.

Bai Ruoshui pursed his lips in a smile, bent down to pick him up, and brushed off the dust clinging to him: "Yeye, letting you stay for a month comes with conditions. Bai Yeye obediently lay in his arms, his fluffy tail drooping weakly: "I know, okay."

Bai Ruoshui patted his back and coaxed him: "Big brother will take you for a bath, then I'll make you something delicious."

Hearing about food, Bai Yeye's tail perked up again and wagged from side to side: "Yay!"

Bai Ruoshui carried him to the bathroom, put small toys in the water for him to play with, and gave him a nice bath.

Once soaked, Bai Yeye's smooth fur clung to his round body, making him look even more like a ball.

Bai Ruoshui also put a little dog bib and little shoes on him, instructing: "If you see Yuanzhou later, just call him 'Big Brother.' Don't blow your cover, got it?"

He was gentle, not a pushover to be bullied at will.

"How dare you! Speak to me like that—slap his mouth!"

The Queen's personal attendant stepped forward aggressively, but the butler blocked him.

"Please, Your Majesty, watch your words. The prince's mansion is guarded by five thousand elite soldiers from Romar Planet protecting the Prince Consort."

This was a condition the Emperor of Lexus personally agreed to when marrying Bai Ruoshui—allowing five thousand elite soldiers to enter Lexus Planet to protect him.

If the Queen dares to make a move now, she might not leave this place alive.

Threatened, the Queen was not afraid but instead grew angrier, feeling she had lost face. She roared, "Who do you think you are to stop me!"

The omegas beside her chimed in, offering comfort that was actually passive-aggressive.

Bai Ruoshui filled a cup of warm water for him to rinse his mouth and spit out the blood in his mouth. "YeYe, I told you not to bite just anything. What if you get infected? Spit it out now!"

The queen had two bloody bite marks on her forearm. Seeing that Bai Ruoshui didn't kneel to apologize and only cared about that dog, she flew into a rage. "Guards! Shoot that dog! Right now!"

She couldn't touch Bai Ruoshui, but she could at least touch that dog, right?!

This time the queen had touched a nerve. Bai Yeye was Bai Ruoshui's most cherished treasure; whoever dared to touch him would die.

"Butler, someone is attempting to assassinate me. Summon the five thousand elite troops to wipe out these criminals!"

"Yes!" The butler immediately pressed the summon button.
