General Shen didn't know whether to laugh or sigh: "YeYe, quit messing with me."

Bai Yeye lifted his head with a snort: "I'm not messing with you. I can still kiss you like this, it's not like I'm missing a mouth."

"..." How the hell was he supposed to kiss him like that?

"Until I'm no longer angry, this is all you get—a Samoyed to kiss. Like it or lump it."

Even though they'd cleared things up, he was still upset inside. He wasn't some YeYe who was easy to win over! Hmph, whatever!

Shen Yu finally just kissed his forehead, telling himself it was better than nothing.

"Brother YeYe, Brother Longrui's here. Can he come in?" Bai Xingxing knocked on the door.

"Yeah, let him in."

Long Rui walked in looking pissed. He'd been psyched when he heard Shen Yu woke up, but when he got to the door, Bai Xingxing wouldn't let him in, saying, "Brother YeYe and Brother Shen Yu seem to be in the middle of something. If it's not urgent, you probably shouldn't go in and bother them."

Long Rui: ...?

He just woke up, and they're already going at it?

When he walked in and saw Bai Yeye in Samoyed form, Long Rui's face got even darker.

"What's up with you?" Bai Yeye looked at him curiously.

Long Rui said through gritted teeth: "What were you two doing just now?"

"Just talking. What else would we be doing?"

"Since when do you have to turn into a Samoyed just to talk? I think you're feeling guilty about something, huh?" He probably changed forms so his human face wouldn't give him away.

Bai Yeye was totally confused: "What would I even feel guilty about? If you don't believe me, go pull up the security footage."

The hospital room had security cameras to keep random people from coming in and hurting Shen Yu. Long Rui looked up and saw that the camera that was always on had been turned off.

If you asked, it was Shen Cun's doing—he didn't care if his son got recorded, but what if his future daughter-in-law didn't like it?

Now Bai Yeye really couldn't talk his way out of it.

"You two... you two!" Long Rui pointed at them, his hand shaking.

Bai Yeye thought he was about to throw a punch at Shen Yu, but then Long Rui suddenly calmed down, grabbed a chair, and sat down.

"Bro, did you lose your mind?" Bai Yeye leaned over.

Long Rui gave a creepy smile: "I believe nothing happened between you two."

Bai Yeye looked him up and down—had he really lost it that bad?

Long Rui was pissed, but he didn't dare make a move, because his own thing with Xie Yongyun wasn't sorted out yet.

At least Shen Yu and Bai Yeye were officially together. He and Xie Yongyun had nothing going on—how could he have the nerve to lecture them?

"I'm heading back to Romar tomorrow. You got anything you want me to take back with me?"

"Tomorrow? That quick?" Bai Yeye hadn't even had time to process it.

"I've been wanting to go back for a while. Dad asked me to stay and help out with some stuff at the base. Now that he's awake and can handle it himself, I'll go back and deal with things in Romar."

Long Shen was stretched thin, juggling taking care of his lover and handling state affairs.

Bai Yeye pressed his lips together. He wanted to go back too, but Shen Yu was still stuck in that hospital bed.

Seeing how torn his lover was, Shen Yu spoke up: "YeYe, you should go back too. Say hi to your two uncles for me. Once things settle down here, I'll go visit them properly."

Long Rui was a little surprised he'd say that. He'd expected Shen Yu to ask Bai Yeye to stay and keep him company while he recovered.

Bai Yeye pressed down on his paws and said quietly, "Then I'll go back with Brother tomorrow."

He wanted to stay with Shen Yu longer, but his father at home needed him too.

"I'll pick you up at nine tomorrow morning." Long Rui hadn't originally planned to take him along, but since he offered, they might as well leave together. Bai Ningxin needed their company right now anyway.

Long Rui didn't stay long, giving the couple some alone time.

"YeYe, check if my wound here has reopened." Shen Yu raised his arm.

Bai Yeye quickly transformed back and went over to check his wound.

The moment he got close to Shen Yu, Shen Yu grabbed his wrist and pinned him down beneath him.

"What are you doing! You'll tear your wound!" Bai Yeye was shocked, angry, but didn't dare push him away, afraid of hurting his injuries.

Shen Yu leaned down and kissed those red lips he'd been longing for, joy and happiness exploding in his heart at having regained what he'd lost.

When he'd learned that Bai Yeye had gone undercover beside Wu Xiu, Shen Yu's first reaction was fear—fear that something would happen to him, that he'd lose him forever. But he couldn't disrupt the bigger plan, so he could only suppress his urge to go find him.

Thankfully, everything was resolved now. He would never let his YeYe leave him again.

"Mmph!" Bai Yeye really wanted to turn into a Samoyed at that moment, but he was afraid of giving Shen Yu a lifelong psychological scar.

"Oh, by the way..." Long Rui came back midway. The moment he opened the door, he saw the two of them kissing passionately on the bed.

The veins on Long Rui's hand bulged. He comforted himself that what he couldn't see wouldn't bother him, and slammed the door shut again.

Bai Yeye patted Shen Yu's shoulder—his brother had come back, and he was still kissing!

Shen Yu pulled out the IV needle from his hand, interlaced his fingers with Bai Yeye's, and deepened the kiss.

Bai Yeye was left dizzy from the kiss. If Wu Shao hadn't come in to stop them, who knows how far it would have gone.

"If you want to die, go slit your own throat. Don't waste my time here!" Wu Shao scowled as he checked his wound. Was Shen Yu insane? He'd told him not to move around.

Bai Yeye glared at Shen Yu—let him hurt himself to death!

Even as he thought that, he said to Wu Shao, "It's not his fault. I'm the one who asked him to kiss me. Could you bandage him up again? Thank you."

A poor little YeYe taking the blame for love.

Shen Yu felt the pain starting to throb again, but the smile on his face didn't fade.

This was his first time indulging himself. Let it hurt.

Wu Shao re-bandaged his wound and said coldly, "If there's a next time, find someone else to treat you."

Bai Yeye said obediently, "I promise there won't be a next time."

After Wu Shao left, Bai Yeye transformed back into a Samoyed, his fur all fluffed out, "You won't see my human form again until I've calmed down!"

Bai Yeye had actually softened, thinking of giving him a kiss before parting. But Shen Yu pulled that move, and Bai Yeye decided he wouldn't transform back into a human for at least three months!

General Shen was penny wise and pound foolish.

He spent the entire night, from begging to playing pitiful to acting cute, yet still couldn't earn Bai Yeye's forgiveness.

Bai Yeye: My heart's harder than your dick now. Don't think you can move me.

The next day, Long Rui arrived on time to pick up Bai Yeye.

Bai Yeye snapped, "Take care of yourself. If you get hurt again, you won't see me for a whole year."

General Shen tried to wheedle a little more out of him: "YeYe..."

Bai Yeye walked coldly over to Long Rui's side: "Don't even think about it. Bye."

Long Rui didn't know what they were going on about, so he turned to Bai Xingxing and asked, "Xingxing, wanna come with us?"

Bai Xingxing shook his head: "I want to stay and help."

"Okay, then take care of yourself. Let me know if anything happens."

"Okay!"

"Alright, we're heading out."

Bai Yeye kept looking back, but Long Rui still dragged him out.

Shen Yu watched his retreating figure and couldn't stop himself from trying to get up.

"General Shen, you can't be moving around." Bai Xingxing jumped in surprise.

Gu Yuankai happened to arrive at that moment, "Why are you sitting up again! Get back down, get back down!"

"I'm fine, just stretching my legs." Shen Yu wanted to follow him downstairs.

"No, you can't move."

"Right, General Shen, if you move around, Brother YeYe's gonna be mad."
