Chapter 113: If You Divorce, I'll Marry You

"Zhuang Yao, I’m going to the restroom." The dinner party was over, and after resolving the most important matter of the day, Jian Ye felt completely relaxed. This relaxation, however, brought on the urge to pee. He called out to the guy waiting outside.

Zhuang Yao nodded. "Alright, go ahead. I’ll wait for you."

At this point, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only a few scattered staff members preparing to clean up and head home.

The restroom near the end of the hallway was empty. Jian Ye deliberately chose a quiet spot to do his business.

But as soon as he entered, he ran into a familiar figure. The other man had just finished and was still buckling his belt. Jian Ye instinctively closed his eyes and turned away. "I—I didn’t see anything!"

Qin Fei chuckled lightly, calmly zipping up his pants. "We’re both men. What's the problem? Is there something I have that you don’t, or vice versa?"

Jian Ye quickly darted into a stall and shut the door.

"Young Master Qin, please don’t joke around. Just leave when you're done." Jian Ye couldn’t quite explain why, but ever since the show started filming, Qin Fei’s gaze toward him had been weird.

And now, hanging around in the bathroom—was this guy seriously planning to keep him company while he peed?

"Jian Ye, having fun on this show?" Qin Fei completely ignored Jian Ye’s words, standing right outside the stall and speaking as if to himself.

"Yes, yes, very much. Can you go now?"

*Dude, what kind of weird fetish is chatting in the bathroom?!*

"I’ve been watching every episode of your show. When I found out you signed up, the Qin Group sponsored it."

"Wh-why?" Jian Ye’s brain short-circuited. He had no idea what this guy was scheming. They were even now.

Now, sponsoring the show he was on... Could it be...?

*It can’t be what I’m thinking...*

    Jian Ye was freaked out.

"Like I just said—for you." Qin Fei was completely blunt. "Jian Ye, we haven’t known each other long, but I’m quite interested in you..."

    "..."

"How about you be with me?"

    "???"

"Once I take down the Yi family, you divorce him, and I’ll marry you."

    Jian Ye: "!!!"

*What kind of crazy nonsense is this?!*

*How did a little green tea like me suddenly become so popular overnight?!*

*Are these people sure they haven’t been hexed?!*

"Jian Ye: Er Tong! Help! I'm about to burst!"

"System 748: Host, just pee in front of him and disgust him!"

"Jian Ye: No! After all that nonsense he just spouted, there’s no way I can go now!"

"System 748: Our irresistibly charming host, loved by so many..."

"Jian Ye: Love? Have you ever seen love that blocks the bathroom door and won’t let you pee? That’s some next-level crazy!"

A bathroom confession? Seriously? You got a death wish or something?

Did you really have to pick this moment?!

Just as Jian Ye was about to relieve himself, another male voice suddenly echoed in the restroom.

"Qin, who exactly did you say you were going to ruin just now?" The man walked in with a dark expression, staring straight at him. "My family?"

"Husband!" Jian Ye felt like he had found his savior. The moment he heard Yi Siyu’s voice, he instantly felt secure.

"It’s okay, go ahead and finish your business. I’ll take someone outside for a little talk." Yi Siyu tilted his chin slightly. "Let’s go, Qin. Do you really want to be a creep here? Or should I put you on blast tonight?"

Qin Fei didn’t seem surprised by Yi Siyu’s arrival. He smirked, but said nothing and walked straight out.

The two found a spot by the corridor window. "Qin Fei, you get off on messing with my wife?"

Yi Siyu could tell Qin Fei was doing this on purpose.

"And this counts as bullying? You’re way too sensitive, Yi Siyu." Qin Fei pulled his hands out of his pockets, adjusting his stance casually before continuing, "You probably don’t even know how those two guys were hitting on your wife during the show before you arrived."

Yi Siyu’s brow furrowed deeply. Zhuang Yao had already told him about this. He only regretted not watching the live stream today—otherwise, he would’ve stormed in much sooner.

"What do you gain from provoking me?" Yi Siyu said coldly.

Qin Fei rubbed his fingers lightly. "Well... I might need you to pretend to feud for a while."

Yi Siyu eyed him suspiciously. "For whose benefit?"

"Some bastards from my past." Qin Fei’s gaze darkened at the mention. "They almost got my sister killed last time. Now they’re back in Yunjing."

"You’re trying to lure them out?" Yi Siyu asked. "But there’s no need to antagonize the Yi Group."

"It’s the fastest way. So..." Qin Fei met Yi Siyu’s eyes seriously. "From now on, I hope the Yi Group comes at me full-force. Those people love kicking others when they’re down."

Yi Siyu pondered for a moment before nodding slightly. "Fine. Since you’re begging for it, I’ll give you a punch right now."

No sooner had he spoken than his fist shot out. Qin Fei dodged in time but still took a glancing blow to the cheek, a stinging pain spreading across his skin.

Noticing the surveillance camera behind Yi Siyu, Qin Fei instantly understood and quickly blocked the second punch.

Both men were trained, exchanging blows back and forth in a deadlock.

Yi Siyu’s desire to beat someone up was genuine. He was willing to help Qin Fei achieve his goal, but he shouldn’t have used Jian Ye as a pawn.

If Qin Fei wanted to escalate things using Jian Ye’s popularity, then Yi Siyu had no problem making these hits count and teaching him a lesson.

When Jian Ye finally finished and stepped out of the bathroom, he saw his husband and Qin Fei fighting.

He saw red as he rushed over to intervene. "H-Hey! Use your words, damn it! This is a public place—stop fighting! There are cameras here, what are you... what are you doing?!"

"Jian Ye, your husband isn’t happy about me shooting my shot with you, but I really do like you..."

"Like him? I dare you." Yi Siyu seized Qin Fei’s shoulder and arm, cutting him off mid-sentence as he went for a throw.

But Qin Fei fought back just as hard. He twisted his body, breaking Yi Siyu’s grip before countering by grabbing his wrist in a lock and sweeping at his knees.

He continued speaking, "I mean it, think about what I said in the restroom earlier, Jian Ye. Whatever Yi Siyu can give you, I can give you too. My family’s loaded too!"

Qin Fei was too focused on talking and left himself open for Yi Siyu, failing to dodge a punch that landed squarely on his mouth. The metallic taste of blood instantly flooded his mouth, and blood trickled out.

Bleeding didn’t deter Qin Fei—it only made him more fired up.

In the following exchanges, Yi Siyu got his share too, blocking several kicks with his arms, which were likely bruised by now.

Seeing both men injured, Jian Ye couldn’t hold back any longer and shouted, "Cut it out!!!"

His voice was so loud it almost blew out their eardrums.

The two fighters froze in shock, realizing that the boy trying to mediate between them now had his face wet with tears. Both panicked instantly.

    "Jian Ye, I... I'm sorry..."

"Xiao Ye, don’t cry, I was wrong..."

Jian Ye had shouted so hard he stunned himself.

He was wheezing, unable to speak for a moment.

"Jian Ye: What the—?! I—why am I crying? I didn’t mean to cry!"

[System 748: Host, you currently have the "Ugly-Cry" buff active. Your emotions were too intense just now, triggering this skill. Big feelings can cause tears to flow~]

"Jian Ye: I want to sink into the floor. Did I just say some cringey soap-opera line?"

[System 748: You mean that meme-worthy drama line from a classic human drama—"Stop fighting"?]

Jian Ye had once imagined these two fighting over the original novel’s bottom protagonist, Zhuang Yao. But now, the target had become him, and the line he’d fantasized about had actually been spoken by him—and he’d apparently worked himself into tears...

Jian Ye closed his eyes, and the heat in his eyes surged even more violently, tears gushing.

To match the scene... there should probably be a rainstorm to soak them melodramatically right now.

Seeing his baby in tears, Yi Siyu’s heart ached. He rushed forward, using his fingers to wipe the boy’s face. "It was all an act, fake, we weren’t really fighting."

Qin Fei added from the side, "Just sparring, testing each other."

Jian Ye turned his head away, refusing to look at them.

    Yeah, right!

They were clearly trying to kill each other earlier. If not for their training, one of them would’ve been knocked out already.

The original plot has already gone off the rails, so why are you two still brawling?

The seemingly broken plot still played out the same way—just with a different reason.

Not for the White Moonlight, but for him, this damn green-tea bitch.

"Si Yu, why did it take you so long to grab someone?" Zhuang Yao ran in, having grown impatient waiting outside. When he entered, he saw the three standing in the hallway, the atmosphere weird as hell.

"What’s going on with you all..." Zhuang Yao looked them over. "Ah! President Qin, your mouth is bleeding! Si Yu, your hand is scraped! And... Xiao Ye, your eyes are so red—have you been crying?"

    All three: [silence]

    ...

When leaving, Jian Ye rode in Yi Siyu's car, while Zhuang Yao drove back alone. Qin Fei also got into his own car, driven by A Yuan, whom he instructed to pull up beside Yi Siyu's vehicle.

The car window rolled down, and the man grinned at the opposite side. "Boss Yi, your skills are impressive. Let’s go another round sometime. And... Jian Ye, everything I said today was just teasing. Don’t take it to heart."

Jian Ye: "..." *Your damn uncle.*

    Qin Fei: "Move out."

The car drove off, and after a long silence, A Jin, who had been too afraid to speak, stammered, "Young Master, about that..."

"Speak." Once inside the car, Qin Fei reverted to his usual cold and gloomy demeanor—the intimidating boss his subordinates feared.

"Are we really taking down the Yi family?"

Qin Fei shot him a look as if he were an idiot. "What does it look like?"

"I... I naturally follow your orders without question. But regarding the matter of taking Third Young Master Yi’s partner... we should plan carefully. We should’ve dealt with Jian Ye back at the Qin family earlier..."

"A Guang, silence him," Qin Fei cut him off, issuing the command.

    A Guang: "Yes."

Without hesitation, he grabbed a roll of tape and firmly taped A Jin’s mouth shut.

Meanwhile, A Cai explained to A Jin, "After following the Young Master for so long, you still can’t tell whether his words are true or false? You haven’t learned a thing."

Qin Fei gazed out the window, his expression inscrutable.

    True... or false...

Those words weren’t entirely lies. If they were real, that kid would hate his guts...

    A/N:

Young Master Qin: *Everything I said today was just teasing.* (Tsundere much?)

*Inner thoughts: I, Qin Fei, never lie. I’m dead serious about dragging him back to the Qin family.*

President Yi: *Try liking him. I dare you.*

Young Master Qin: *Done it. Love him. Bring it on.*

    Facing all love rivals—

President Yi: (rage face emoji) *Die, every last one of you!*
