Chapter 40: How Perverted Am I

Zhao Daxing had just finished drinking, the excited and lecherous expression on his face had yet to fade.

There was a sudden "pu" sound.

He instinctively closed his eyes, only to be sprayed all over his face.

After spitting out the soup in her mouth, Su An threw the bowl on the table and laughed heartily, "Want to scheme against me? You should see if you have what it takes first!"

"You like it so much, why don't you drink a few more bowls!"

At this point, Xiao Jiliang and Zhao Daxing could no longer misunderstand; they realized they had been fooled.

The mother and son's faces turned ashen.

Still trying the gentle and sincere approach, Zhao Daxing said, "An'an, were you lying to me just now? Were you just comforting me? What did I do wrong that hurt your feelings so much? Can you tell me? I'll change, I just want to live a good life with you!"

Su An snorted coldly, "Everything about you is fine, except for one thing!"

Zhao Daxing looked at Su An with deep affection, "An'an, as long as you say, I'll change. I'm willing to change for you."

Su An smiled sardonically, "Really? I hate your breath. For my sake, can you stop breathing?"

Zhao Daxing finally couldn't keep up the act, "Bitch, you're playing me!"

    "Mom, grab her for me."

"Su An, let me tell you, if you don't drink this bowl of soup today, I will force it down your throat. I advise you not to refuse the wine and end up drinking the penalty!"

Before Zhao Daxing had even finished speaking, Xiao Jiliang lunged forward and grabbed Su An by the shoulder, while calling out to Zhao Feng, who hadn’t started school yet, to close the door.

Zhao Daxing held a full bowl of soup and moved closer to Su An.

Su An struggled briefly, a look of panic and astonishment flashing across her face.

Just as Zhao Daxing was a foot away from her, Su An spoke up, "Let me go! It's just a bowl of soup—no need to make such a fuss. I’ll drink it!"

Zhao Daxing’s eyes narrowed with suspicion.

Su An reached out and took the soup from him, then unexpectedly kicked Zhao Daxing in the groin.

    "Aaah!"

Taking advantage of Zhao Daxing’s bent-over position, Su An lifted her left arm and delivered a hard elbow to Xiao Jiliang’s stomach, where he was still holding her shoulder.

Xiao Jiliang cried out, and just as his mouth opened, Su An moved swiftly, grabbing his neck and tilting his head back to pour the bowl of soup down his throat.

The entire sequence took less than ten seconds, swift and decisive.

"Su An, you... you..." Xiao Jiliang stammered, quickly reaching for his throat.

    "Ugh!"

    "Ohh!"

Seeing Xiao Jiliang gagging, Su An sauntered over and gave him a quick jab in the armpit.

Just as Xiao Jiliang was about to gag, he let out a surprised laugh and couldn’t bring himself to vomit.

Zhao Daxing was still crouching on the ground, but his breathing had become heavy, and his face was turning red.

Su An took one look and knew what was in the soup. This mother and son really would stop at nothing, using any despicable trick.

"Su An, I'm telling you, this is poison, this is a crime! Hurry up and take us to the hospital, and we can let this matter slide," Xiao Jiliang said, feeling the heat rising in her body. She quickly threatened Su An.

"Oh, Mother-in-law, listen to you! You made the soup, you put the angelica in it—what does this have to do with me?"

"The whole neighborhood knows we don’t get along. Why would I make soup for you?"

The drug took effect quickly, and Zhao Daxing's entire face turned bright red. He felt absolutely miserable.

Staggering to his feet, he headed towards the front door, trying to get out.

Su An grinned maniacally, whipping out a switchblade from her waistband. She had bought the knife for self-defense when she visited her brother in Wuzhen and had carried it with her ever since. "Let's see who dares to leave today!"

A flash of anger appeared in Zhao Daxing's eyes. "Su An, do you really dare to kill me?"

"I don't dare, but I do dare to poke a few holes. If you don't believe me, try me!"

Gasping for breath, Xiao Jiliang said, "Su An, aren't you afraid something will go wrong? People can die, and if something happens to us, you won't be able to escape responsibility!"

Seeing that Su An was unmoved, the mother and son stumbled into the washroom. The sound of the faucet quickly followed.

Leaning against the corridor, Su An said with interest, "Could it be that you two drank animal breeding drugs?"

"Oh dear, what a predicament. You can't leave, and you're a man and a woman, but you're mother and son!"

"You two better hold on, don’t let yourselves explode, and don’t do anything that goes against nature. If I hear anything, I won't be able to keep it to myself. I'll open the door and call everyone in the family quarters to come and watch."

"When that happens, oh my, how embarrassing it will be for everyone!"

Hearing Su An’s gleeful taunts, Xiao Jiliang, gritting her teeth through the pain, cursed at her. "Su An, you'll come to a bad end, you'll be struck by lightning and suffer a thousand cuts. When you die, you'll go to the eighteen levels of hell, and be fried in oil..."

A flash of coldness passed through Su An's eyes. If she hadn't been prepared, she might have fallen for their trick.

They brought this on themselves. If they die, it’s their own damn fault. The drug wasn’t she who bought? The soup wasn’t she who made?

Her stomach growled. Su An rubbed her stomach, holding the small switchblade as she walked towards the kitchen. She rummaged through it and found a bag of red dates and peanuts she had separated last time. She grabbed them and slowly ate them.

She had been up early, acting with these two troublemakers, and now she was hungry.

Looking at the nearby vegetable basket, that old woman was actually pretty diligent. She had bought the vegetables early in the morning.

Su An used the small knife to lift up a bunch of greens and peeked inside. If there were eggs, she could whip up a couple of fried eggs.

She didn't see any eggs, but there were beans, cucumbers, and pig intestines.

For a moment, she was taken aback, then burst into laughter.

    "Pfft, hahahahahaha!"

"How did I get so messed up?"

    "Yes, I'm crazy."
