    Chapter 431 Congratulations, Sir

Madam Liu hurried forward and helped Lu Hanyi up, only to find that she had already passed out.

"She, she..." Tong Nanyuan clutched her stomach, her face contorted in pain.

Seeing Tong Nanyuan's extremely pale face, Lu Lingyun asked anxiously, "Nanyuan, what's wrong?"

"My stomach hurts," Tong Nanyuan replied, clutching her stomach. At the same time, she glanced at the unconscious Lu Hanyi on the ground. "Don't worry about me, check on her first!"

Lu Lingyun couldn't care less about Lu Hanyi, the crazy woman. She immediately called out, "Quick! Get a doctor! Take Madam back to her room!"

"Yes, yes, take care of Nanyuan first!" Madam Liu chimed in, hastily calling her four precious grandsons. "Jian Da, Jian Ye, all of you go over and take care of your aunt!"

    "Yes."

All four children stepped forward, but Tong Nanyuan said, "Mother-in-law, send the children back. We'll discuss the adoption matter later!"

Madam Liu, who had been enthusiastic and eager, was shocked upon hearing this.

Before she could ask why, Tong Nanyuan and Lu Lingyun had already entered the room.

Madam Liu quickly pulled her eldest grandson aside to ask what had just happened.

Cheng Jianda recounted the incident of Lu Hanyi's outburst. Madam Liu thought that Lu Hanyi had ruined her plans!

When had Tong Nanyuan ever considered adopting her son?

Moreover, even if she wanted to adopt Li Shouye, the Li family would never agree!

What was she making a fuss about!

What did it have to do with her!

This commotion had ruined her hard-earned opportunity to arrange for the adoption of her grandson!

Looking at her unconscious daughter in her arms, Madam Liu was filled with rage!

Her foolish and stupid daughter had not only ruined her own son but also her grandson!

    It was truly infuriating!

In a fit of anger, Madam Liu couldn't be bothered with Lu Hanyi anymore and simply ordered her to be sent back to the Li residence!

Let her deal with it herself!

    Meanwhile, at the Li residence.

    Lu Hanyi slowly regained consciousness.

When she woke up, she saw her son, Li Shouye, sitting by her bedside, taking care of her.

At the sight of Li Shouye, Lu Hanyi's eyes welled up with tears.

    "Shouye..."

Upon hearing her call, Li Shouye glanced at her, then silently turned to pick up the medicine on the table and began feeding it to Lu Hanyi.

    "Shouye!"

Lu Hanyi called out again, her eyes piercing as she looked at Li Shouye. When Li Shouye didn’t respond, she clamped her mouth shut and refused to take the medicine.

Li Shouye tried feeding her a few more spoonfuls. "What do you want!"

"Shou Ye..." Lu Hanyi pleaded, her eyes locked on Li Shouye. "Forgive your mother, and I’ll take the medicine."

    Li Shouye: "......"

He turned and put the medicine bowl down, his expression grim as he prepared to leave.

Seeing this, Lu Hanyi called out urgently, "Shou Ye..."

Tears welled up in her eyes as she called out.

Li Shouye, who had reached the door, paused. He sighed deeply, "Mother, do you have to be like this?"

Hearing that Li Shouye was responding to her, Lu Hanyi quickly pleaded, "Shou Ye, your mother knows she was wrong!"

"Your mother was wrong before, but she knows it now, and she won’t do it again. Please forgive her!"

Li Shouye sighed deeply once more.

He turned around and looked at his mother, who was gazing at him eagerly from the bed. Her face showed her age, and streaks of gray were clearly visible in her hair.

Over the years, it had truly been just him and his mother, relying on each other.

Although his mother was stubborn, she always protected him, making sure no one bothered him in the Li residence...

"Mother," Li Shouye said softly as he walked up to her.

"Shou Ye!" Lu Hanyi cried, tears instantly filling her eyes. "My son! My dear son!"

"Mother, please stop doing those things."

"I’ll listen to you, I promise!"

"And stop causing trouble with your aunts."

Lu Hanyi hesitated for a moment, then clenched her teeth and said, "Fine! I’ll listen to you!"

Seeing Lu Hanyi agree, Li Shouye sighed again, picked up the medicine bowl, and sat by her bed to feed her. "Take your medicine properly, and don’t make me worry."

"Yes, I’ll listen to you," Lu Hanyi said, her eyes shining as she looked at her eldest son. She drank the bitter medicine sip by sip, but it felt as sweet as honey.

Her good son had forgiven her; he was back in her life.

No one could take her son away from her!

She and her son were inseparable!

Meanwhile, back at the Lu residence.

After Madam Liu had Lu Hanyi swiftly taken away, she followed the others into Tong Nanyuan’s room.

"Nanyuan, don’t pay any attention to that fool, your second sister-in-law!"

"There’s something wrong with her—who could possibly get along with her?"

"Just ignore her! Don’t stoop to her level!"

"Jian Da and the other kids, I'll call them over. Since you're hurt, it's a good chance for them to look after you!"

Tong Nanyuan listened to Madam Liu's endless nagging. She frowned deeply, her face ghostly pale, and she was too weak to even talk.

Lu Lingyun stepped in and said, "Mom, Nanyuan isn't feeling well. Please don't disturb her right now."

"Nanyuan, I know you're not feeling well, but this is the best time to see who's really filial and more to your liking! This is the perfect moment to show filial piety!"

The doctor was by her side, checking her pulse.

Fortunately, at this moment, Lu Kuan returned.

    "What's going on!"

Lu Kuan rushed in, making a beeline for Tong Nanyuan on the bed.

"Husband," Tong Nanyuan clutched Lu Kuan's hand tightly.

Her hand was red from being scalded by hot tea. Lu Kuan immediately noticed the burn on her hand.

    "Who did this to you!"

"Sir, it was Second Aunt who barged in and started arguing with Madam. She knocked over the tea table, scalding Madam," the maid said.

"That Lu Hanyi!" Lu Kuan balled his fists.

Seeing his resentment towards Lu Hanyi, Madam Liu said, "Kuan'er, your second sister is just mixed up and impulsive. Don't let it get to you!"

"What does her being mixed up and impulsive have to do with us? What have we done to wrong her? Why does she always come here to cause trouble? Do we owe her anything?"

Madam Liu laughed awkwardly, "I think she got the wrong idea, thinking you wanted to adopt Shou Ye. That's why she came here in a huff. Don't worry, I promise you, I won't let her come and cause trouble anymore!"

"And I won't let her affect your adoption of Jian Da and the other children."

"Jian Ye, Jian Cheng, Jian Lin, Jian Da, come here quickly! Kowtow to your uncle and take good care of your aunt!"

Madam Liu was solely focused on the major task of adopting her grandchildren. No matter what, she had to make sure they acknowledged one today!

If Lu Hanyi ruined this today, who knows if there would be such a good opportunity in the future!

She enthusiastically called out, and the four children stood in a row, waiting for Lu Kuan and Tong Nanyuan to choose.

But at this moment, the doctor who was taking Tong Nanyuan's pulse suddenly loosened his grip and raised his eyebrows to offer congratulations.

    "Congratulations, Master! Congratulations, Madam!"

I hope Nan Yuan and Lu kuan be healthy, happy and be surrounded by their descendants. Both of them are so cute , loving and good people. They should stay away from Lu hanyi and her son . Let them fend for themselves
