Chapter 52 Tell a Story
by 林西成仙入定Chapter 52: A Story
Cheng Feng got back to his dorm, put down his backpack, and rushed to the cafeteria for dinner.
This time, he just happened to run into Xu Zhiyan.
As soon as Xu Zhiyan saw him, she was mortified. After all, he was just a kid, and she had acted that way in front of him before.
Cheng Feng, however, didn't think much of it and greeted her naturally.
After finishing dinner, Cheng Feng went to the bathroom. A guy dressed as a bodyguard gave him a lewd smile.
"Kid, whoever you end up with is going to be very lucky!"
Cheng Feng frowned and quickly realized what he meant. He hated this kind of talk the most. Back in the village, some people used to praise his father, especially in *that* aspect, saying his mother was very lucky and must be very happy in bed.
Cheng Feng was really pissed now. He glared at him. Making fun of *him* was one thing, but using such crass comments about his future partner was absolutely unacceptable.
"Do you even know how to respect people?"
He stepped closer, looked up at him, and decided to give him a taste of his own medicine.
"If *you* were my partner, it seems *you'd* be very lucky in the future! You'd probably die from pleasure in bed!"
The bodyguard was instantly furious. "Are you fucking crazy?"
He immediately got ready to throw a punch.
Cheng Feng raised his phone. "I have the Young Master's number. Go ahead, hit me. I dare you. I'll tell the Young Master and have you fired."
The bodyguard looked at his phone. "You think just having the Young Master's name in your phone is enough to scare me?"
Cheng Feng: "If you don't believe me, I can call him right now. Want to test me?"
The bodyguard withdrew his hand. He didn't dare call that bluff. He didn't want to lose this good job. So he snorted coldly and turned to leave the bathroom.
Cheng Feng put away his phone. He was just bluffing. How could he actually dare to call the Young Master? If he reported such a thing to the Young Master, he'd probably be fired tonight, right?
When Cheng Feng arrived at the Little Young Master's villa, he found out the Little Young Master hadn't returned yet. Sister Caiyun told him the Little Young Master wouldn't be home tonight, so he didn't need to take care of him.
Cheng Feng frowned. Where had the Little Young Master run off to?
He went back to his dorm and started studying. He studied until 10:30 PM when Butler Liu called him, telling him to go attend to the Little Young Master for his bedtime routine.
Cheng Feng immediately changed into his pajamas and ran to the Little Young Master's villa. There, he saw Shang Xu holding the Little Young Master by the scruff in the living room.
Shang Shaohao looked like a kitten held by the scruff of its neck. Dried blood still stained the corner of his mouth, and several fresh wounds marked his face—all treated. His eyes were wide open, and he pouted defiantly.
Cheng Feng felt a knot in his stomach. Subconsciously, he started to panic: *Oh no, the Young Master won't think I failed to supervise properly, will he? Will he scold me?*
Shang Xu's eyes slowly turned to him.
"From now on, wherever he goes, he must report to you. If he doesn't report, call me. You don't need to be afraid of him. I've said before, you can directly represent me in disciplining him.
If he doesn't study, make him. If he dares to go fight, hit him directly. If he dares to fight back and hit you, tell me immediately. If you know but don't report it, I can get you expelled."
Expelled? Can't go to school?
Cheng Feng's eyes widened. His heart clenched, and he was flooded with panic. He nodded vigorously.
"Young Master, I understand. I will supervise the Little Young Master diligently from now on. I will never let him run off again."
Shang Xu glanced at him, then tossed the still-struggling Shang Shaohao over. "Get him cleaned up and make sure he goes to sleep. You can only leave his room after he's asleep."
Cheng Feng nodded forcefully. "Okay."
He hurried forward and carefully helped Shang Shaohao upstairs.
The Little Young Master had clearly just been in a fight. His legs were terribly weak, wobbling with every step. He was practically hanging onto Cheng Feng to move at all.
At the turn of the stairs, Cheng Feng instinctively glanced back at the living room downstairs.
He saw Shang Xu take a cigarette from his pocket, holding it between his fingers. But he didn't light it immediately. He seemed to think of something, frowned, then tossed the cigarette back into the pack, turned, and left the living room.
Upstairs, Shang Shaohao still wore an expression of defiance, pursing his lips and glaring at Cheng Feng.
"You dare to discipline me? I'll have your dog life!"
Cheng Feng took a deep breath. Stimulated by the words "expelled," he looked up at Shang Shaohao, his gaze unprecedentedly firm.
"Little Young Master, you can barely walk steadily right now, and you're still talking back to me? The Young Master said I am him. I can represent him. If I hit you, you can't hit me back. If you dare hit me, then it's really over."
Shang Shaohao was so angry his teeth itched, but he could only glare.
Cheng Feng helped him into the bathroom and turned on the shower.
Warm water streamed from the showerhead, falling on Shang Shaohao. His body was covered in dense wounds, some still oozing blood, others simply bandaged with gauze.
Cheng Feng carefully avoided those injuries.
"Little Young Master, where on earth did you run off to tonight?" he couldn't help but ask while helping him wash.
"None of your damn business." Shang Shaohao leaned against the bathtub, replying sullenly, his tone full of impatience.
Cheng Feng wasn't annoyed. He just said calmly, "It's still related to that person from this morning, right? You didn't win this morning, so you went to ambush him in the afternoon, to fight him one-on-one, right?"
Shang Shaohao immediately shut his mouth, lips pressed into a thin line. Clearly, Cheng Feng had hit the mark.
Cheng Feng understood. It seemed his guess was correct.
And judging from his injuries, he still hadn't beaten that person in the evening fight.
No wonder he was so defiant. Not only did he lose, but he was also dragged back by the Young Master. He probably got quite the scolding along the way.
After helping Shang Shaohao finish his bath, Cheng Feng helped him back to the bedroom and had him lie down on the bed.
He then pulled up a chair and sat beside it, watching him.
"Little Young Master, go to sleep quickly. I'm so sleepy." Cheng Feng yawned, his eyes barely staying open.
"Tell me a story." Shang Shaohao turned over, facing away from him, and said sullenly.
"..."
Cheng Feng thought for a moment and decided to tell something simple. "Then I'll tell you an Andersen fairy tale."
"Get lost." Shang Shaohao was utterly disdainful. "Cai Yun has already told those stories to death. I want to hear one you make up yourself. If it's not good, I won't sleep."
Hearing this, Cheng Feng lowered his gaze, remained silent for a few seconds, and then said softly:
"Then I'll tell you a story about a little boy."
Shang Shaohao immediately turned around and stared at him:
"Go on."
"This boy's name was Little Cheng, and he was born in an extremely remote mountain village."
"Most of the women in that village had been trafficked there. Little Cheng was the son of one of those women. From a young age..."
As he spoke, he had originally intended to just whip up a story, but unknowingly ended up recounting his own experiences.
Shang Shaohao was initially dozing off, but when he heard "Little Cheng poisoned his grandmother and father," he instantly perked up, his eyes lighting up:
"And then? What happened later to Little Cheng and his mother?"
Cheng Feng had initially felt somewhat uncomfortable telling this story, but seeing Shang Shaohao suddenly become so excited, he felt a bit speechless:
"If I finish telling it, you must sleep properly."
"Tell me," Shang Shaohao urged, impatient.
