Fu Yining never expected that she would be pestered by a woman one day.

She moved Li Jia's hand away from her thigh and quickly backed away, shaking her head in rejection. "Sorry, I'm not into women."

"That's okay, we can still be friends!"

Li Jia didn't care at all. No matter where Fu Yining moved, she stuck close, smiling brightly in a way that made it impossible to find fault.

Fu Yining was pushed to the edge of the couch. She pressed her lips together, about to say that she was already married, when two more pairs of fair legs appeared in front of her.

"Haha." Fu Yining forced a smile, feeling awkward.

Though Wang Beibei didn’t understand Li Jia’s hidden meaning, she still saw her as a rival and took it as an excuse to argue.

Fu Yining lost her appetite and didn’t want to get dragged into their argument. She put down her plate, wrapped herself in her shawl, and prepared to leave.

Wang Beibei and her companion leaned over, completely blocking Fu Yining's way.

Seeing Fu Yining about to walk away, Wang Beibei gave her companion a look, signaling her to block the way.

However, her companion, noticing the attention their commotion had drawn, didn't want to continue and ruin her reputation.

"Beibei, maybe we should just let it go?"

"What are you afraid of? If I tell you to block her, then go block her! I'll take responsibility if something happens!"

Her companion hesitated, giving Fu Yining enough time to get away.

Just as Fu Yining had taken only two steps, her path was blocked again.

"Ningning?"

It was her brother, Fu Yichen.

The woman next to him, Ming Hua, said, "Ningning, it really is you. Your brother and I were sure we were mistaken."

Fu Yining looked at her and called her "Sister-in-law."

"Yes."

"He brought you here and just left you? That's really over the top!"

Fu Yichen was very displeased, thinking that Yu Zhi Li had brought his "sick" sister out and left her alone. What if she got hurt again? Even if Yu Zhi Li didn't care about the "thing" occupying his sister's body, he should at least protect her physical body, right?
