Li Jia glanced at Fu Yining, then at Fu Yichen, and guessed the relationship between them, so she let go of Wang Beibei's hand.

Wang Beibei pulled her hand back, revealing a clear red mark on her fair wrist.

"Beibei, Beibei?" her companion cautiously prompted her.

Wang Beibei was about to say something when Fu Yichen, looking down at her, asked, "I heard you wanted to ask my sister some questions?"

"No, no!" Wang Beibei's first reaction was to deny it.

Sister? Was he talking about that woman from earlier?

Wang Beibei knew that the people attending this banquet were either rich or of high status. The accessories worn by the man in front of her, for example, had once been showcased at a fashion exhibition. Each piece was far beyond her means.

However, at this moment, Li Ya realized that what he had brought were not trophies to show off, but two ticking time bombs!
